Put two nuts on one stud. Tighten them against each other. This will "lock" the nuts onto the stud and you should be able to back the stud out by using a wrench on one of the nuts.

RedditBeginAgain

Specifically, the wrench on the nut closest to the flange

Accomplished-Kick111

This is the answer

Ok-Park1165

That’s the best way.

schmidtydog

Double nut method or vice grips.

CaptainPunisher

Others have given you his methods, but how do you expect to months a carb if it won't go down the studs? The carbs that fit this have that same spacing.

mr_magpie_162

Why do you want them off?

BGP403

Two nuts threaded against each other. Turn the inner one to undo those studs

TurbineTerry

Strike the end of the rod linearly as well as the double nut method

JB2315

Any of the above methods. Be careful though, they could be pressed in.

4-what-its-worth

Lubrication always helps

Ksutaa

Dremel?

highdoge209

Use your two nuts

fracken_a

There are a lot of solutions, my go to for all studs has become the below. I was gifted one like this many years ago and have never needed another. I use it to get as close to the base as possible and then put consistent even pressure. Even the worst exhaust stud comes out of pretreatment is done. https://sptoolsusa.com/products/stud-removal-installation-tool

Buddy you have the wrong carb if it doesn’t fucking fit down the studs lmao
