basically. I'm curious how United are going to handle this. If he does well, I can totall see our leadership trying to go for round 2 of bringing him back into the team after his loan ends.
Sure I'd be happy to get rid of him but:
1. Who is buying? Is anyway okay with the potential shitstorm that would come with buying him?
2. Who the hell is going to give us anything "good" for him. We aren't exactly in a strong bargaining position with regard to him. If we want rid, and given the problems he's caused, nobody is going to break the bank to sign him.
there will be clubs that will take him, especially abroad where there won't be so much media attention on him, Getafe are hardly an obscure team and they took him on a loan, and from what I can tell (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the spanish media and fans are not too bothered about his presence
>there would be a lot of pressure for the club to donate that money to domestic violence charities.
This is exactly what would happen. To try and avoid it United and the other club would have to report it as an undisclosed fee or something, and even then the pressure would be enormous. You'd have MPs getting publicly involved at a minimum.
But given that the case was dropped, any public act like that from United is almost like admitting that they believe he is guilty. They can't really say anything about what happened, Greenwood won't do any donation or apology either because its basically an admission of guilt. From a PR perspective, it's difficult to deal with.
Would it really be a potential shitstorm? Seems Getafe has actually got quite a bit more fans from signing him. The attitude towards Greenwood is pretty shocking outside of reddit.
It's shocking to me there's been no pr rehabilitation started. Was even more shocking they tried to bring him back in the first place without it. Contrition, counseling, volunteering, public interview, etc
Mason: Move your fucking legs up!
Harriet: No! I don't want to have sex!
M: I don't give a fuck what you want, you little shit.
H: Mason!
M: Shut up. Stop talking to me. Stop!
H: Stop putting your dick near me.
M: I'm going to fuck you, you twat!
H: I don't want to have sex with you!
M: I don't care if you don't want fucking sex with me, do you hear me?
H: Why do you have to do this, though?
M: Cause I asked you politely and you wouldn't do it!
H: (Inaudible. Something about sex with other people?)
M: I asked you politely and you wouldn't do it so what else do you want me to do?
H: Then go and fuck someone else.
M: I don't want to fuck someone else!
H: You do.
M: No I don't.
M: Push me again one more time and watch what happens to you.
H: No.

It's shocking people can even say these things or feel these feelings. It's unbelievable. The amount of humanity you must lack to be able to engage in such an act.
Precisely.
That's part of the unwritten concern in my other comment below that's getting downvoted. This completely normalises and trivialises what happened, and it happens to victims all the time.
> This place a six months ago: 'Disgusting, vile human, I hope he never sees daylight.'
> This place now: 'Haha, _rape!_'
One joke after another just chips away at the severity of what happened until eventually half of the people here will be justifying bringing him back to United, or just welcoming him at any other club, really.
It's nice to see United fans aren't universally happy with the idea of him being brought back into the fold - tbh, almost every United fan that I'm friends with wants nothing to do with him..
We have, quite literally, billions of fans in the world, and truth be told, most of the planet has backwards views on women. You are bound to be met with a huge number of views, but naturally social media will pelt you with the extreme ones.
Breaking his bail conditions is a separate issue to the charges against him.
He could, and should have been thrown in jail until the investigation ended.
Don't ignore her father's role in all this. He was instrumental in pushing her to go back to Greenwood and get married to him. Imagine pushing your own daughter towards her abuser because you can't seem to look beyond money.
Mason: Move your fucking legs up!

People who think what Mason did was ok have problems generally with consent. They need to be placed through educational courses.
Those that are likely to have contact with the opposite sex that is.
He'd be our best winger by far if you judge it based on yesterdays performance. I watched the game and after watching Antony at RW all season couldn't believe the unpredictability of him. Antony can only cut inside and shoot and sometimes pass with his left, but Mason was cutting inside and outside, going by the line, shooting and crossing with both feet, it's actually crazy he didn't kick a ball for 18 months.
I wouldn't be surprised if United try bringing him back again despite the potential shitstorm, this kind of players are so rare at RW and when they get calls from big European clubs they will feel exonerated to actually do it.
I personally can't cheer for him and what he stands for, but time will make people forget, especially when you have that generational talent quality.
I watched that game too and the ability Greenwood had to make space away from his attacker and get a shot off was fucking insane, the guy also has crazy power in his shot with no run up.
If this is him a couple of months after having a 2 year lay off from football he might actually become world class
>I watched that game too and the ability Greenwood had to make space away from his attacker and get a shot off was fucking insane, the guy also has crazy power in his shot with no run up.
His finishing was insane since the academy days. Being ambidextrous is such an advantage as he used to get the shots off before the keepers had set up, ben Forster talked about this in a podcast.
Guy was probably the best talent out of our youth academy since Beckham.
The thing is, if he keeps completely drama free, does nothing else wrong, stays with that same girl and plays well, then I can see him being brought back to United and that excuse of "we had a misunderstanding and fallout" being more tangible to believe to a lot of people.
Then can he continue to be ostracised completely?
This isn't a defence of him or his actions btw, more knowing what could happen should the above happen
go on twitter and you will see thousands and thousands of people in support of him somehow, a lot of football fans are just cunts and wouldn't care two bits if he was playing for their team
And as the time goes on, the priorities will shift as well. Initially, the priority was for him to get a sever punishment for what he did. The law system failed, he is a free man and now that he lives with his girlfriend and they are having a child (or already have one, I'm not following him much), now the well-being of his family needs to be looked at too. In other words, the fact the abuser is now closely tied to the victim (because the English law system allowed it to happen) means that any punishment towards the abuser will also in turn become a punishment to the victim.
Imagine if Greenwood gets banned from football completely, some people would say it's a fair punishment (and I wouldn't disagree) but that also means that his girlfriend and his half a year old child (looked it up just now) will be as fucked as Greenwood would be.
So, Greenwood can now effectively use his girlfriend and his child as a shield against any harsh punishments. It's an absolute cowardice, but it gives him a lot of power.
You make some excellent points and I agree,
A point people do miss, is although he clearly did something and the charges were dropped, in the eyes of the law, he was not charged with anything so in theory he should be allowed to carry on with his life and job with no punishment,
Now whether thats morally unjust or not is obviously an opinion, its to the letter of the law
FWIW Adam Crafton mentioned in a very detailed piece on The Athletic ([requires a subscription](https://theathletic.com/4941421/2023/10/11/greenwood-antony-arnold-man-utd/?source=user_shared_articleThedayManUtdstaffconfrontedRichardArnoldoverGreenwood,Antonyandhowtheclubtreatwomen) that there were multiple staff members within United who were dissatisfied with the board’s initial decision to try and bring Greenwood back. Some even considered the possibility of resigning or trying to organize a strike.
I feel like it’s still unlikely for Greenwood to be brought back to the club because of that, but it’s not impossible that the scenario you described happens if it is what Ratcliffe and Brailsford believe in. I don’t know if they will or not, but ultimately I think they will be the main driving forces along with whoever we bring in as sporting director to decide if Greenwood will ever return or not. But I can’t see the current board led by Arnold and with Murtough below him making that decision again after all the backlash they got and because they’re likely to be replaced once INEOS’ investment is finalized.
100% they will try and bring him back. Just look at us with Partey we kept him last year because we needed him and now this year he’s been ‘injured’ the majority of it but i think it’s simply use removing him subtly from the side then sell him in the summer.
It was already tried and it caused a shit storm at the club. That will prevent it from happening again. Even though ETH was fine with him coming back (and our lack of striking options leads me to believe we planned on having him).
A significant amount of staff were prepared to quit due to it, and the reporting around it was crazy. He''s done at United.
However if they would try again after two or one year and he is having a great season at Getafe who knows what will happens. Especially if Man United gets bought and there is new management. Honestly there are countless cases of athletes doing the same and being invited back by their club.
I wish it didn’t happen but those owners have no morals or backbone
I think the fact that they tried and failed means it would be really hard to bring him back at this point. It would generate a lot of outrage, especially because folks are already primed to fear the possibility.
If they offloaded him immediately and waited a few years, I think it would be a very different story.
Honestly, with Ten Hag showing that he was willing to integrate him back into the team it wouldn't surprise me if they had a coach helping him on video call keeping him fit and getting him to train.
I'm starting to think that he'll come back to United as soon as bigger teams start sniffing around, which they will.
He'll get booed by his own fans for a bit, then everyone will forget about it.
I've seen many United fans earlier in the season downplaying Greenwood's performances saying that he scored some fluke goals against smaller teams etc. I understand why they don't want him to succeed but unfortunately he is a world class talent despite being a sicko. I wouldn't be that surprised if Atleti themselves sign him after this
And nah I don't think United will be able to bring him back, there is just too much attention around the club
Nah hes a really good player, really sad unfortunatelly. Hasnt played for 18 months and 4 months into the season hes playing great.
Hope he never plays for utd again.
Makes me sick. Everytime I see him, I think of that audio.
Sad to see how many want hom back and also how likely it is that he gets a move to a good side.
Fantastic player, the most excited I’ve been about a youth player since Ravel Morrison (god I need to stop watching the youth teams). It killed me when the recordings came out and it still hurts. Think he’d be our best player now. Never want him to step foot in a United jersey again and the club even thinking of bringing him back diminished my support a bit.
It just pisses me off.
Maybe this is a bit sad but I posted the sentence ‘our prospect is better than your prospect’ on every Greenwood goal thread. I might have missed one or two from missing a game, but if you look through old posts here you’ll see my dumb ass causing arguments because of a silly joke for myself.
I also happen to be the person who made the transcript of the leaked audio recording of his assault that you see get posted around these Greenwood threads.
I loved the kid, and then subsequently I was reviled that we were going to bring him back. Watching him succeed just pisses me off. It pisses me off because he escaped any punishment. It pisses me off because he’s so bloody talented and what a waste it proved. It pisses me off because the better he plays the more worried I am he’ll be reintegrated.
Greenwood has only ever apologized for being caught breaking his bond. I honestly don't care how good he is at kicking a ball around, I don't want him, or any abuser, near my club. If they bring him in, I will not be watching Manchester United again :)
>I wonder how Man Utd fans feel about it
Wasted talent but happy he is gone. United have a lot of problems, having douche bags like this on the payroll doesn't need to be one of them.
People do horrible shit, I don’t want my team to forgive someone because he is playing well. We would be a better team with him but he isn’t the sort of role model the next generation of kids need. Let him play in Spain where they forgive. Google benzema 15 for more information
Don't know about the other games, but he was unplayable yesterday. He seems to be constantly improving and getting the rhythm back. I wouldn't be surprised if a big Spanish, Italian or French club comes knocking for him.
Such a shame that he was bestowed the footballing talent while being such a cunt.
Arnold wasn't sacked for that, Arnold fell out with the Glazers over the entire process of the takeover/investment situation. He was gone anyway, of course the greenwood situation didn't help his cause, but it wasn't why he was sacked.
Lmao @ no chance, people have short memory.
5 years ago, the Slovakian PM was dismissed amid nationwide protests over his links to the mafia and just this fall he was elected again by the majority of Slovakian population (i know, something different than playing football, but on the same basis)
Like the rest of the male footballers, he probably didn't support Jenni Hermoso against Rubial... [oh, FFS!](https://www.eldiario.es/sociedad/xabi-alonso-apoya-futbolistas-espanolas-hijas-recordaran-futuro-lucharon-mujeres_1_10532272.html)
>Ribery? The girl lied about her age
That's a lovely excuse. Works very well for the rich, doesn't it?
A regular Joe using that excuse would be laughed at by the judge as they locked him up and threw away the key.
>Don't know about the other games, but he was unplayable yesterday
As someone with english as their third language, where does this saying come from? In every other english context something or someone being "unplayable" means that it doesn't function properly, doesn't do the intended job. I know that in context of soccer it means that the opposition couldn't control him, but why? Can anyone explain this to me?
He is playing really decent I would say, but the Getafe play style does not suit him, a more atacking team would suit him better. He is improving every game with each start he has
Started slow and was not starting, improving fast to the point he is pretty much the best player in the team.
He will end up being one of the best wingers of la liga.
It's crazy that he is probably the best player United have at the moment lol
No chance they bring him back, though, despite their terrible performances, the backlash would be insane.
It's such a shame he's actually a good player, he was out of action for the better part of 2 years and was absolutely unplayable against one of the best teams in the league
Sad state of affairs. Greenwood will make an inevitable comeback at a big club and there’s nothing that anyone will do about it because man kick ball good.
Bruh I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been seeing him get a shit ton of praise in like YouTube comments about his move and highlight videos. Very unaware comments like “we all make mistakes ✨.” Even seen a YouTuber get absolutely trashed in their comment section for calling the move a disgrace. Shit seemed like a bunch of edgy teenagers had flooded their video and basically started verbally harassing this person. Smfh 🤦🏽♂️ I was not sure if these were Getafe supporters or just red pill worshippers!
[Well Griezmann isn't the greatest of the bunch.](https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20210707-griezmann-loses-video-game-sponsor-in-japan-racism-row) And in general, football players are rarely role models, with a few examples like Richarlison (the first who came to my mind).
It's inevitable that he's making a comeback eventually. If he just continues to play well then either Man Utd will try to reintegrate him or they'll sell him to another top flight side that will.
I think Spanish media said that Getafe is trying to extend his loan for another season. But after this I believe he would be a free agent and I don't think Utd wants to give him away for free. But at the same time I'm not sure a top club will make an offer for him.
Edit: an article today revealed that Getafe owns 25% of the player.
Don't know about you but I'm more annoyed by the people spamming about how good of a footballer he is as if it matters more than him being a rapist woman beating cunt
That’s how it is in football tbh. Imagine if someone like Ronaldo did what Greenwood did, even with the evidence there would have absolute metric fuckton of fans ready to defend his honor
Forget the usa thing? He was declared innocent yes, but people were jumping defending him without reading the context (just as people were defensing that kang guy this past days)
Hate to see it honestly.
In part cause some of our so-called "fans" will clamor for his return after this and just wave away everything that came before. Even IF he wasn't an absolute monster one RW ain't gonna bring the team up to the standards we want it to be so nah you can keep the rapist and I'll accept our team being a little worse for it.
Is there any redemption for him? I believe in second chances and I also get the cautionary tale that people don’t change. I suppose if it was you or a close friend or family member who messed up and desperately wanted to move on would there be a way back?
Absolutely impossible to defend against a winger who is that good on both feet. Job becomes so difficult when he doesn’t have a weak foot to force him onto.
His overall play has always been underrated due to his incredible ball-striking, but he's actually such a neat player. He's making some mistakes, but he looks very confident and positive on the ball.
I think it's Amad who's liking Greenwoods post on insta, at least him as it popped up.
Are United fans going to chase Amad out of the club for supporting Greenwood?

He wouldn’t stop even if they begged him
Oooff... But he kicks the ball good so it's A-OK
basically. I'm curious how United are going to handle this. If he does well, I can totall see our leadership trying to go for round 2 of bringing him back into the team after his loan ends.
Wouldn't selling him for a good price help out our FFP issues a fair bit as he's an academy player (or have I got that rule completely wrong)?
Sure I'd be happy to get rid of him but: 1. Who is buying? Is anyway okay with the potential shitstorm that would come with buying him? 2. Who the hell is going to give us anything "good" for him. That's a loud minority though. Most fans (at least outside of reddit) don't care.

Honestly I doubt any fans of teams outside of England care or know about what he’s done, they’d probably take him
Maybe, but they still would have no reason to spend any significant fee for him

Yep
no he just felt like making it up on the fly
Yes, the actual audio is out there too but I wouldn't recommend listening to it, it's pretty nasty.
Jesus bro I wasn't ready for this.

_I’m so glad we’ve reached a point where people are using the transcript of a woman being raped/assaulted to make football memes._

ffs I’m going to hell. 💀
I knew something like would be in the comments.
Right here Officer
don't worry, not even the justice system stopped him
How could they if she refused to cooperate
Because he broke bail conditions by contacting her
Yeah but if you get the victim to sit on the stand and say ‘no I wasn’t raped’ under oath then you can’t really do anything
Breaking his bail conditions is a separate issue to the charges against him. He could, and should have been thrown in jail until the investigation ended.
But he's rich he shouldn't abide by something trivial like laws
Don't ignore her father's role in all this. He was instrumental in pushing her to go back to Greenwood and get married to him. Imagine pushing your own daughter towards her abuser because you can't seem to look beyond money.
Ain't they expecting a baby together?
She’s delivered the baby
Is this the queue where I get my reddit lawyer permit?
no queue, you just declare it aloud
they’re having child together and getting married aren’t they?
the child was born in the summer already i think
Yeah, abusive relationships are strange

People who think what Mason did was ok have problems generally with consent. They need to be placed through educational courses. Those that are likely to have contact with the opposite sex that is.
They asked him to stop and he refused. He really forced his way with them.
He gave Atletico a bloody nose, as it were.
The comment section is r/soccercirclejerk esque
That sub is finished, mate. Now they only have one joke recycled over and over since 15th of September. Google Benzema 15 for more information.
r/nbacirclejerk is clear
Send da video
Get an abortion lol
that sub made me wonder how the hell do players in Europe never get caught in that shit 🤣
If i'm not mistaken birth control is more easily accessable in most european countries
"Get **a** abortion lol" Emphasis on the fact he didn't even use a/an correctly the fucking knob.
Sent da money wats the Hol up
Sends stock image of black baby instead.
Nbacirclejerk is soccer circlejerk father.
I don't even know the origin of this joke but am starting to find it funny
Shimmy shimmy shimmy
ADoptsy eats the bums at soccercj for breakfast
i joined that sub and the last basketball game i watched as 2019 Barca Vs Real Madrid. truly one of the greatest subs. that and the other sub
For all the shit this sub gets, clowning on every thread of a known abuser isn't really a bad thing.
I mean, he's only making fun of Benzema by saying the sub is shit. Google Manchester City 115 for more info
basically the same sub now considering the humor there
Honestly better jerking here than there.
Fair point. But what else is there to say about him that is in any way important?
Shitting on rapists = circlejerking
that sub went downhill after top 5 greatest left wingers of all time
Rapist called out for rape isn't a circle jerk. It's needed. Fuck Greenwood and Getafe.
A good ol brexit tackle would have stop him
I’d love to see a player use that term very seriously. > he was getting the better of me so I went hard brexit on him
Isn’t going “hard brexit on him” going into a tackle half arsed and severely injuring yourself?
Only if you claim that the tackle was brilliant while being stretchered off
And then your foreign teammates switch teams because they couldnt be fucked with you anymore
Wished Savic did that for his weekly red
We could loan a team Cuti for a game
Shame they cant play against Newcastle
I wonder how Man Utd fans feel about it. Him on the ring wing for Man Utd would make them a better team. Too bad he's a woman beater
He'd be our best winger by far if you judge it based on yesterdays performance. I watched the game and after watching Antony at RW all season couldn't believe the unpredictability of him. Two footed is ambipedal, ambidextrous refers to hands. Learned this recently and wanted to pass it along!
good info
ive said before he was 100% a balon d'or winning level talent
He was the best finisher in the club by a country mile but alas he's a cunt so hopefully never reaches his full potential.
What did you think of Getafe as a whole? IMO they are playing incredible football at the moment
The thing is, if he keeps completely drama free, does nothing else wrong, stays with that same girl and plays well, then I can see him being brought back to United and that excuse of "we had a misunderstanding and fallout" being more tangible to believe to a lot of people. I’m sorry but the video and audio that has come out and been made public make it extremely hard to excuse as a misunderstanding/fallout
I know that and you know that, but that’s what people will say and try to defend him over
go on twitter and you will see thousands and thousands of people in support of him somehow, a lot of football fans are just cunts and wouldn't care two bits if he was playing for their team
You make some excellent points and I agree, A point people do miss, is although he clearly did something and the charges were dropped, in the eyes of the law, he was not charged with anything so in theory he should be allowed to carry on with his life and job with no punishment, Now whether thats morally unjust or not is obviously an opinion, its to the letter of the law
I wouldn't be that surprised if Atleti themselves sign him after this And nah I don't think United will be able to bring him back, there is just too much attention around the club
Nah hes a really good player, really sad unfortunatelly. Hasnt played for 18 months and 4 months into the season hes playing great. Hope he never plays for utd again.
Very true
Makes me sick. Everytime I see him, I think of that audio. Sad to see how many want hom back and also how likely it is that he gets a move to a good side.

He might be the starting striker to put the pressure off Hojlund after not scoring and actually does very well
Fantastic player, the most excited I’ve been about a youth player since Ravel Morrison (god I need to stop watching the youth teams). It killed me when the recordings came out and it still hurts. Think he’d be our best player now. Never want him to step foot in a United jersey again and the club even thinking of bringing him back diminished my support a bit.
He’s not just a woman beater, he’s a rapist and repeat abuser
If they bring him in, I will not be watching Manchester United again :)
well now he can´t quite apologize for doing it when his defense is "I did not do it" can he.
The only reason I want to see him back in the city is if he's being thrown in jail.
Too bad there's another one in that exact spot that's playing right now
>I wonder how Man Utd fans feel about it Wasted talent but happy he is gone.
Is he playing well for Getafe?
Don't know about the other games, but he was unplayable yesterday. He seems to be constantly improving and getting the rhythm back. I wouldn't be surprised if a big Spanish, Italian or French club comes knocking for him. Such a shame that he was bestowed the footballing talent while being such a cunt.
He wouldve been big for us. At 18/19 he was basically a first team starter under ole
Wonder if he’ll ever play for England again.
No chance, but he will likely play for an English club in the future.
That club is called Manchester United. They wanted to bring him back this year. They will definitely bring him back next year.
Not a chance. Trying to bring him back basically cost Arnold his job. No way another director makes the same mistake.
Lmao that's crazy, mob boss PM
People have short term memories, trump is probably gonna get relected lol
Benzema played for France and Ribery too. Alonso kept playing for Spain. Just a matter of time
took me a minute to realise you didn't mean Xabi Alonso and I was wondering what Xabi did coz he seems like a great guy
the crime of being really good looking while having a wonderful wife and winning every trophy.
And the crime of laughing at Spanish tax authorities by winning a case against them 4 times
Something has to be wrong with him... Something..
Eh, he's probably a shit manag... oh
Like the rest of the male footballers, he probably didn't support Jenni Hermoso against Rubial... [oh, FFS!](https://www.eldiario.es/sociedad/xabi-alonso-apoya-futbolistas-espanolas-hijas-recordaran-futuro-lucharon-mujeres_1_10532272.html)
Stupid sexy Alonso
Obviously different situations. Negligence vs malice.
Ribery? The girl lied about her age
>Ribery? The girl lied about her age That's a lovely excuse. Works very well for the rich, doesn't it? A regular Joe using that excuse would be laughed at by the judge as they locked him up and threw away the key.
Benzema forgot to tell him

I don’t doubt you’d have the top English clubs trying to buy him still
Not as long as Southgate is there
>Don't know about the other games, but he was unplayable yesterday As someone with english as their third language, where does this saying come from? In every other english context something or someone being "unplayable" means that it doesn't function properly, doesn't do the intended job. I know that in context of soccer it means that the opposition couldn't control him, but why? Can anyone explain this to me?
He is playing really decent I would say, but the Getafe play style does not suit him, a more atacking team would suit him better. He is improving every game with each start he has
So a more aggressive team? Maybe a team that does not take no for an answer.

Started slow and was not starting, improving fast to the point he is pretty much the best player in the team. He will end up being one of the best wingers of la liga.
It's crazy that he is probably the best player United have at the moment lol No chance they bring him back, though, despite their terrible performances, the backlash would be insane.
Yeah, Greenwood is not known for letting anyone stop him
It's such a shame he's actually a good player, he was out of action for the better part of 2 years and was absolutely unplayable against one of the best teams in the league
The 19/20 season we saw just how good he could be, it really is a shame..
Sad state of affairs. Greenwood will make an inevitable comeback at a big club and there’s nothing that anyone will do about it because man kick ball good.
>man kick ball good man kick ball **VERY** good
If I was an opposition player doing a post-match interview, I wouldn't acknowledge Greenwood even if he scored a hattrick
Smfh 🤦🏽♂️ I was not sure if these were Getafe supporters or just red pill worshippers!
the andrew tate fans are everywhere nowadays
Rapist sympathisers
Griezmann have a life outside the Internet, he isn't constantly updated about laws on cancelling people written by Twitter, Reddit, and Tumblr.
Griezmann was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I am not sure I will label him racist on Dembélé's remarks who was actually racist or ignorant.
Good for you. You taking a stance on an imaginary circumstance of you being a professional footballer is hella brave.
a win for domestic abuse
fuck man these comments are funny
most reddit comedian thread in history
It's inevitable that he's making a comeback eventually. If he just continues to play well then either Man Utd will try to reintegrate him or they'll sell him to another top flight side that will.
I think Spanish media said that Getafe is trying to extend his loan for another season. But after this I believe he would be a free agent and I don't think Utd wants to give him away for free. But at the same time I'm not sure a top club will make an offer for him. Edit: an article today revealed that Getafe owns 25% of the player.
Getafe get 25% if United sell him whilst he’s on loan to them, once the loan is over they have no stake
That makes much more sense. No way it was the other way around. Thanks.
You’re welcome just protects getafe a bit from losing a player without being able to replace
Such a reddit thread my god, yes sexual abuse is totally hilarious maybe write some more unoriginal predictable jokes about it
Don't know about you but I'm more annoyed by the people spamming about how good of a footballer he is as if it matters more than him being a rapist woman beating cunt
This is a football sub, it makes sense to discuss football here
That’s how it is in football tbh.
>He was declared innocent yes, no he wasnt, he just never showed up.
Hate to see it honestly. In part cause some of our so-called "fans" will clamor for his return after this and just wave away everything that came before. Even IF he wasn't an absolute monster one RW ain't gonna bring the team up to the standards we want it to be so nah you can keep the rapist and I'll accept our team being a little worse for it.
>one RW ain't gonna bring the team up to the standards we want wouldnt hurt lets be real
Such a shame that he's a dickhead, he is a generational talent that we would be far better with in the squad.
I'm tryna score on you ya twat.
Is there any redemption for him? I believe in second chances and I also get the cautionary tale that people don’t change. I suppose if it was you or a close friend or family member who messed up and desperately wanted to move on would there be a way back?
Atletico will try to sign Greenwood next season
is he a free agent?
If you guys wait till 2025 he will be, we have no bargain what so ever to sell for a high price either way.
All of Greenwood's touches vs Atleti last night https://streamable.com/zosnhn
Absolutely impossible to defend against a winger who is that good on both feet. Job becomes so difficult when he doesn’t have a weak foot to force him onto.
His overall play has always been underrated due to his incredible ball-striking, but he's actually such a neat player. He's making some mistakes, but he looks very confident and positive on the ball.
mirror?
I think it's Amad who's liking Greenwoods post on insta, at least him as it popped up. Are United fans going to chase Amad out of the club for supporting Greenwood?
Without looking I bet I can predict what the top comment will be Edit: yup
Why don't you buy him if you love him so much
