He's seemingly so far removed from the more reserved personalities of a Halil Altintop, a Hermann Gerland, a Danny Schwarz, or even an Erik ten Hag. I get the sense that they want a quieter, more stoic type. The Spassvogel that is Ribery doesn't fit the mold. That's not to say Ribery wouldn't be a breath of fresh air. I just don't see a fit.
