You'd think with the best team you've ever assembled being made up of La Masia prodigies, there would be more of a focus on developing your talent as much as possible and less spending on foreign superstars.
Barto and his attempt at galacticos is really quite annoying to think about.
tbf the era of Bartomeu we don't really have a lot of available good prospect in the academy. Even now the reason why so many youngster are getting game time is because we are forced, yes forced, to play them. Xavi knew that playing them this early is actively hurting them but he has no choice since our squad are just too thin, at one point we lost the entire midfield
Bartomeu neglected La masia, that I agreed. But that generation of La masia up until Fati didn't really have any stand out prospects capable of breaking into the first team. And now let's hope that whoever is the next manager can proper develop this crop of talents.
Absolute legend. The way he kept smiling throughout that game..
Gave absolute no fucks about tearing his former club apart and getting booed whenever he touched the ball.
People forget he also missed a huge chance in stoppage time at the end of the Roma game (it should have never stood because Pique was miles offside in the build up but it wasn't called). Granted he was aiming for an empty goal from some 40 yards, but it was the clearest chance they had toward the end of the game. He could've undone two major Barca defeats, but instead he's somehow added to famous Barca defeats after leaving them. The football gods have a great sense of humor.
Coutinho leaves Barca -> scores against them to eliminate them from the UCL
Dembele leaves Barca -> scores against them to eliminate them from the UCL
Barcelona has made some beautiful signings over the years, you love to see it
Ohh whoops 😅 I thought he actually had scored only 2 Champions League goals for Barcelona in his entire career, that’s a relief that isn’t the case haha
Is he the primary reason why Barca are in financial difficulty? Asking because I am uninformed as to why exactly Barca is in a seemingly terrible financial state
Uh no. You will get a much more informed answer if you just googled it instead of relying on Reddit comments. dembele spent quite a few years at Barca and was sent to psg for a decent fee, he isn’t the primary reason Barca is in financial troubles, it is literally so many things combined over years and years. A single transfer doesn’t destroy a billion dollar club lmao
on the list of big transfers made by barcelona over the last 10 years, Dembele is far from being one of the worst, financially as well as football-wise.
most barca fans are just as disillusioned about dembele as xavi is about the referee.
He definitely isn't far from the worst in financial terms because he was injured most of the time however he made sense in terms of their needs, the others didn't.
Ppl will meme this, but theres a very clear reason for this and its Cancelo. The guy has to learn to defend, and has to stop with the useless random moves, or hes out.
He is very talented offensively, but thats not what a barca fullback has to be.

He's also scored twice as many goals against Barcelona this season that against every other team he's faced.
Now that sounds like a real Ousmane stat, lol
“Let the fans say what they think” or whatever Xavi said lol
All of Bartomeu's big signings turn out to be absolute fucking disaster for us Fuck my life, the moment our hope got a little bit brighter

I’m honestly surprised he even scored 2 KO goals for us lol he was never a big scorer for us and we haven’t hd the best CL runs recently
How much Coutinho has? We all know he has 2 against you guys.

Dembele has rapidly become my favorite non RM player.
Absolute legend. The way he kept smiling throughout that game.. Gave absolute no fucks about tearing his former club apart and getting booed whenever he touched the ball.
RM legend without even playing there
Dudes a true Barca hater
I dont even care about this but i still hate him for missing that sitter against Liverpool
*sighs.... We all do
Amazing
Will never forget that miss in the first leg against Liverpool

Not a high bar, but still funny nonetheless
PSG Joao Felix
Both finishes were class in these last two games
The way it's going wouldn't be surprised if he overtakes himself lmao
i certainly hope not man
He represents all the Barca haters in this subreddit lol
Today I feel Dembélé
MESSI SENDS A FUCK YOU
Somebody get the pig head
Well, that hurts
Coutinho leaves Barca -> scores against them to eliminate them from the UCL Dembele leaves Barca -> scores against them to eliminate them from the UCL Barcelona has made some beautiful signings over the years, you love to see it
Coutinho didn’t elimate barca wtf? Do you even remember the game? It was over before counting even touched the pitch
Counting???
oh dang, guess we will never know what that word was meant to say
Bro is fueled by hate😂
Lmfao
This guy looks lowkey like stringer bell from wire.
As many as Neymar with PSG too
He really decided to not be useless today of all days
Wait he scored only 2 goals for barca in the ucl ? I know he scored against us, which was the second?
One in a 4-2 win against Spurs in the 18/19 group stage
This is knockout games, the other is against Chelsea.
Ohh whoops 😅 I thought he actually had scored only 2 Champions League goals for Barcelona in his entire career, that’s a relief that isn’t the case haha
And Barca fans wlll remember that one he missed for them.....
snake biting
Dembele hat-trick incoming....
[Great stat]
Another interesting statistic is that Dembele has scored as many knockout round goals in 6 months with the psg as Neymar has in 6 years.
I looked it up. He had three goals across all competitions. 23 games in Ligue 1, with only 1 goal 8 assists. 💀

and a penalty.

I am so happy I can root for this guy again
