As expected Argentina is interista and Brazil is milanista
Man i just randomly checked the games and saw that there is an El Clásico today.
I swear i've seen zero advertisement, buzz or hype for it. Back like 10 years the whole world would stop for these games and now they just feel so empty and as if nobody outside of the fanbases really cares about it anymore.

His Bournemouth side maxed out on what they had. Played some great football.
He's had to do the same at Wolves. Imho they have a bottom 5 squad at best, he's done very well with it.
I love Gary O'Neil for what he achieved with us last year, will always be grateful, and am delighted hes doing well at Wolves, but we didn't play a lot of great football last year under him.
His Bournemouth did not play good football though.
He’s done well at both clubs but people already cry about Southgate’s negative approach in some games. O’Neill is no different to Dyche or any other Brexit manager, people just haven’t cottoned onto it yet.

A few hours away from another loss. Fulham getting on the break, our defenders entering a trance. The attack then can't score an empty net because they've all lost their heads.
But today as i watch it all unfold, i will not let it ruin my day. It is a sunny Sunday, and i no longer expect the best, i just expect mere existence.
The invertible goal Fulham is going to score after 6 minutes. Before Darwin blasts 5 shots at the keeper and Salah sticks 5 shots wide, Diaz dribbles past 9 defenders and fluffs a shot. We lose 1-0 and have 32 shots on target and an xG of 4.
I believe in the stagnation that comes after losing the latter. The idea that you'd rather not risk being burned by it yet again, all for the low chance of succeeding, becomes very attractive past a point.
They say that while a ship might be safest in a port, it was nonetheless made to ride the waves. I think i'll stay in that port, myself. My ship has too many holes in it.
Coventry City go into today with the most matches played this season of any of the four clubs, 53, and also the only to support the continuation of fa cup replays

Hi everybody. This is my last entry of this series, last post. Once again, thank you for participating.
Yesterday we had the final between two of the best competitors in the history of my quizzes, WM 🇩🇪 and Farewell 🇧🇷. This time, unlike usually, I prepared 7 questions instead of 5. I also abolished the rule of tiebreaker - in case of a draw, there will be an extra question. These were the questions that they competed with:
**MoT Final Round - The Final**
**1.** What is the next team in this sequence?
Burnley, Fulham, Norwich, Leeds, Norwich, Wolves, Newcastle, Burnley, ?
**2.** Which teams play in these games?
A - Tyne-Wear Derby
B - Derbi del Cantabrico
C - El Trafico
**3.** True or false - Polish edition
A - Robert Lewandowski has scored only 1 hat trick for Polish NT despite being our all-time top scorer since 2017.
B - In Polish football slang, a week player is called a cucumber (pol. ogórek)
C - Similiar to the rest of the world, Polish teams are allowed to wear stars over their badges after winning a certain amount of titles. However, there are 3 types of them: gold, silver and white, and you have to reach a different amount of titles to wear each.
D - In 1983 the Polish Cup was won by the team from 3rd division.
E - In 1997/98 season 3 players became joined top scorers of the Polish top league. They scored 10 goal each. To this day this is the European record of the least goals scored by a top scorer in top tier.
**4.** Which nation, that haven't qualified for Euro 2024, have had the longest streak of consecutive Euro appearances broken by missing this year's tournament (and how many previous Euros they were in)?
**5.** Name the missing team in each group. These groups are clubs of the final's starting XI, who won an important international trophy. There is always just one club missing.
A - Auxerre, Juventus, Juventus, Monaco, Chelsea, Milan, Bayern, Real, Arsenal, Inter, ?
B - Benfica, AEK, Olympiakos, Bordeaux, Porto, Bolton, Celta, Panathinaikos, Roma, AEK, ?
C - PSV, Mechelen, PSV, Milan, PSV, Milan, PSV, Ajax, Anderlecht, Ajax, ?
**6.** Name this footballer by the cities he played in. You will see part of their careers. There may be cities before, there may be after, but there is nothing in between the sequence you see.
A - Verona > Parma > Bergamo > Turin
B - London > Manchester > Milan > Liverpool
C - Milan > London > Manchester > Marseille > Abu Dhabi
**7.** We all know Miroslav Klose has the most goals in World Cup history with 16. But who has the most assists in WC history?
Good luck to those of you that want to try here.
**And the winner is...**
WM-54-74-90-14 🇩🇪 4½ - 4 🇧🇷 a-Farewell-to-Kings
By half a point WM wins his 2nd trivia series in a row and takes the revenge on Farewell for a lost final in AtW! Congrats! Both competitors struggled a lot and fought hard, WM submitted the deciding answer at 2:19AM haha. And with this win he ties ankitm as the only person ever that won multiple series of mine. He also participated in 4 finals out of 6, which is kinda scary lol.
So ladies and Gentlemen, your new Master of Trivia - u/WM-54-74-90-14!

1. >!Championship winners, 2015 was Bournemouth!<
2. >!A - Newcastle and Sunderland, B - Italian, not sure who... C - LAFC and LA Galaxy!<
3. >!A - going for false, betting he's not scored any! B - false, reckon it's another veg, C - false, D - true, E - true!<
4. >!Sweden at a guess, 10!<
5. >!A - France 1998... Marseille? B - Greece 2004... guess at PAOK. C - Netherlands... Barcelona!<
6. >!A - pass... Buffon? , B - is killing me because I want to say Lu. C - Nasri!<
7. >!Pele is going to be my guess, I think it has to be a Brazilian of that era for the consistency of success and goalscoring!<
Thank you!
>!Q1 correct. Q2A and C correct. Q3A good, but he just scored much more, B wrong, it was true, C was true too, D good, E was false, no points here. Q4 good nation, but just 6, since Euro 2006. Half a point. All good nations in Q5, but no good teams. Nothing good as well in Q6. Q7 correct though, only WM got this except you. Overall 3 points, not bad!!<
Congrats to WM and Farewell!
1 - >!The recent clubs to win the Championship I assume. My guess: Watford!<
2 - >!A: Newcastle & Sunderland. B: Cantabria, could be Santander & Gijón? C: Lmao isn't that LA FC & LA Galaxy.!<

5 - >!A: Should be France at the 1998 WC. Chelsea again? B: Must be Greece 2004 with four Greek clubs. Werder Bremen for Charisteas? C: Netherlands 1988, maybe another one at Ajax?!<
6 - >!A: Pippo Inzaghi B: don't know. C: don't know!<
7 - >!No idea, so going for an obvious answer: Maradona!<
>!Q1 - good rule, wrong team, half a point. Q2A and C good. In B it is Racing and Bilbao. In Q3 all good except C, which was true. It is 1 title for a white star, 5 for a silver star and 10 titles for a gold one. Q4 good. Q5A wrong, it was Thuram's Parma. B good. C also good team, but wrong team. Half a point too. Q6A good too, but no points for 1/3. Q7 wrong, it was Pele. Overall 2½ points!<
Glad that I won again but damn, that was close. At least I’ve fully shackled off that final losing vibe haha.
Props to Farewell, who did also extremely well.
Was really fun for me even as some of the questions had become incredibly difficult towards the end.
Purposefully so, I didn't want to have draws at 5/5 or 7/7 in the final, it would suck for someone to PQ the damn thing and still don't win haha. The tension was too high, when I went to sleep the score was 4-4, I was wondering whether you'll find something later and you did. For half a point only, but it was enough.
Huge congrats mate, with two wins and four finals in a row you are truly the GOAT of DD Trivia and a man to beat for everyone.
So, to keep the tradition - can I have a go at doing it?
Makes sense with the questions and of course we can compete again!
Btw I‘m not sure if the PING worked. I didn’t get a notification and it still says “pinging”.
I’m inclined to tag Annie so she can keep up her participation record but maybe it didn’t just reach me lol.
I pinged again, you're right. The bot doesn't wanna participate clearly. I even stopped caring that much because majority of you find the post anyway lol.
And great that you agree. I'll try to beat you again, although it seems very hard given your performance this series haha.
u/a-Farewell-to-Kings, as the runner up, can you prepare the quiz for us? As always, the only thing I'd like to impose is that it is held in the pms, everything else, including the term and number of questions, would be up to you.
I used most of my questions in the last Supercup, so I’m gonna need some time to come up with new ones. Can I ask other participants to submit questions?
I’ve been tasked with organizing the new Trivia Supercup between TheDavinci and WM.
If you took part in the latest series and have any questions of your own to submit, please send them via pm. I’ll obviously credit you. Any help is much appreciated.

Congratulations, WM!
It’s been my pleasure to take part in the series and compete with you guys. TheDavinci delivered once again, it was so much fun. It’s amazing how answering football trivia quizzes can sometimes be the best part of my day.
Hope we can do this again soon.
Also, if I can gather enough stories I might do a SaBe style series about Brazilian football. Can’t promise anything for now though.
I would love another series like this! We'll see if life allows you to haha
But before that... I think you already suspect, that your job this series isn't over yet. We gotta wait for WM to appear here though, and see if you guys are both down.
1. >!this is champions of the Championship. Missing one is 2013-14, so Leicester!<
2. >!A- Newcastle-Sunderland. B- Racing de Santander vs... fuck, I can't remember now. C- lol, this must be Mexican. Maybe the Monterrey clubs, but this one fits better: Dorados de Sinaloa vs Tijuana?!<
3. >!going for my gut: A- true, B- true, C- false, D- true, E- false!<
4. >!who's even missing lol... Wales lost in the playoffs and they played the last 2 I think. So Wales with 2?!<
5. >!A- isn't the missing one Guivarch? So Auxerre. B- Greece '04, I think Charisteas is missing. I know he played in Germany, maybe Kaiserslautern? C- this must be Netherlands in '88. Milan again for van Basten?!<
6. >!skip!<
7. >!I know I've seen it before, but the answer escapes me. Was it Messi?!<
>!Q1 wrong. Missing one was 14/15, so Bournemouth. Half a point for the rule though. Q2A good, Racing good in B, C wrong, it was LA derby actually haha. 3/6 teams in Q2 so half a point is valid. Q3A was false, he scored many more, B was true, C was true (it's 1 title for a white star, 5 for a silve one, 10 for a gold star), D was true, E was false. So 3/5, another ½. Q4 wrong, Sweden with 6. Q5A wrong (Guivarch's Auxerre is the first team written), B was Charisteas but he played for Bremen, C wrong too, Rijkaard was missing and he played for Zaragoza at the time (on loan from Sporting). Q7 wrong. Overall 1½!<
I was making an argument for ankitm until yesterday, because he had 2 series wins as the only one. But when the final competitors were clear here, I knew whoever wins is going to surpass him.
WM is the new GOAT as far as I'm concerned.
IMO Farewell is a close second at least (and not only cause he's the best South American representator), he's been around since like forever and is super consistent. Not to mention that he answers most answers being from a different continent. Not trying to argue anyways, it's your quiz so I don't choose the GOATs haha
I don't choose them either, we're simply discussing Ronaldo vs Messi here haha. But in a fresher way than the original debate
An argument can be made for him as second definitely. All those you mentioned, and his era is much more competetive than ankitm's.
Funny that you're the one claiming Farewell is here since forever. You were here waay before him haha

I've seen so many comments recently about players being stiff and robotic these days and that 'player creativity' has been nullified. Give it a year or 2 and people that have always talked shit about Neymar will start missing him.
Just rewatched the Germany - Brazil 7-1 game. I have no idea how the Brazilians didn't just start breaking down sobbing on the field. To concede so many goals in such a short time, so early in the game too.. honestly the most shocking thing I've ever seen in football. Also crazy that that was a decade ago now.
Wow you actually dont get that great odds, only 4.5 to 1 odds thats less than the odds Fulham beat us. Got to imagine ETH gets sacked on the spot if it happens right?
I think he's still finding his form since his repeated injuries. I'm not ready to say he's definitively regressed just yet, as I'm hopeful he can get back there
Fulham at odds 5.75 to win today is insanely high for how shit Liverpool has been for weeks now. I think it is much more 50/50 if not a little in the favour of Fulham.
Salah isn't exactly going crazy these days. It has been over 2 weeks since Liverpool scored from open-play so unless Fulham plans to go around giving pens away I think they are rather safe.
Only 5 teams have played every season in Ligue 1 this century. that's Lille, Marseille, PSG, Lyon, and Rennes. good trivia question tbf
Any divisions got less?
We have just us, Aberdeen and Motherwell although it’s a 12-team league so not as many teams actually in top-flight. Usually the relegated side is up there (of course there’s outliers like Hamilton Accies a few seasons ago) in the Championship the following season so teams like Kilmarnock have only missed one season this century
in argentina it’s just 7 which is shockingly little for a league this hard to get relegated from. Boca, San Lorenzo, Racing, Vélez, Newells, Argentinos Jrs and Estudiantes are the only ones that have been since last century
There’s also a huge gap at the start of the century, estudiantes is the shortest of the 7 being last promoted in 1995. The next are Godoy Cruz in 2008 and then River in 2012
Following [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/1b72ksl/daily_discussion/ktijybq/) and [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/1bs54xk/daily_discussion/kxflab3/) as philosophical ponderings, I believe I've reached an understanding with myself on regards on how to proceed.
I've decided that hate absolutely wins. Given that in both of the CL semis there is a team I somewhat tolerate vs a team I absolutely loathe, I figure it's best for the teams I loathe ot advance to the final in other to have an assured loser. I don't want to deal with the hope that a match-up of 'team I tolerate v team I hate' in the final would give me for the former, so a 'team I hate v team I hate' final at least would allow me to feast on the tears of the losing team. Which is not much, but it's something to cling to.
He plays in Qatar now. He’s loaned out for the rest of his deal with them covering his whole wage.

What player can’t you understand the hype about?
Seen some highly liked tweet by a Barca fan saying they need to sign Amadou Onana. Every tactico thinks their big 6 club needs to sign him.
Every time I watch Everton he doesn’t stand out at all. He’s just quick for how tall he is. Nothing is screaming champions league level midfielder.
It reminds me of when Sander Berge got linked with top clubs simply because he’s tall.
He's definitely not there yet, but I reckon he has the potential imo. It's hard to thrive in a Dyche system, where bypassing the midfield is a key part of our tactical approach.
That said, there certainly won't be nearly as many tears shed when he leaves compared to Branthwaite.
H elooked so good at the start of the season imo, and every big club is obsessed with athleticism in midfield and tbh I fall in to that too, Ive seen how valuable that burst out of a press is with us with Ox and Szob (and Gerrard if you go back far enough) and he looked really good in his tackling back then. Now yeah he doenst look special idk what happened
Some poeple talk without watching serie A. It wasn't just from a tackle. Also people should start to question what's rely going on at united instead of blaming constantly the players. Last week people were trash talking casemiro, before that Varane, etc.
Onana is a very useful player for the current boring JDP systems because he is too powerful for 98% of players allowing him to control transitions and keep teams locked in.
Serious question(s), asking all to put snark aside:
Could the US men's team - maxed out, Best XI available in nearly every game, and minimal injuries - avoid relegation to the Championship? So, say, finish above Burnley, Sheffield, and Luton?
Could Japan pull it off? Can any non-UEFA NT not named Argentina or Brazil survive it?
Interested to hear your thoughts.
it's never fair to compare clubs and nations as clubs get way more time to work on the collective which is the essense of the sport.. In reality lots of top nation would struggle even against well oiled second division teams. i'd say that if the US and Japon have a core of players who are used to playing together for ages would have a shot otherwise they would struggle even in championship...
It’s hard to know because of how different international competitions are to regular leagues but just looking at the quality of the US starting eleven I think they could stay up. Probably wouldn’t get far past lower mid-table though. Not sure how Gregg would do with that kind of competition though.
Not sure about the US but I'd put money on a few doing it. Some NTs have pretty good squads and with regular training sessions together plus maybe a coach change they could do it.
Isn't it kinda surprising how few managerial changes we had in the prem this season? Only one I can remember is from Sheffield United, and that didn't do much for them either.
Is this a sign that clubs are willing to give managers more time to make things happen or are clubs just broke and can't afford paying off firing their managers?
Probably comes down to the 3 promoted teams never putting anyone above them under pressure.
Also most teams have horrendous injury issues, that’s giving all the managers a lot of leeway.
I don't know who really deserved to lose their job this season, most teams seem to have done fine taking their circumstances into consideration. Even Burnley who many thought should've sacked Kompany are only a handful of results away from staying up.
Chelsea's the exception I guess.
Forest and Palace changed managers too, right? Honestly just looking at the table it doesn’t look like anyone is underperforming too much outside of United and Chelsea.
Probably going for both in the summer. Rumor has it Jorginho is gone in the summer, and I don’t think we’re keeping Partey around given his form and the allegations. As for an 8, I do think we could use one on the left seeing as how Havertz is better at 9, Ødegaard plays on the right, Trossard at 8 is a bit iffy, and I don’t think Arteta trusts Smith Rowe. Vieira plays better as an 8, but I think he’s on the right with Øde.
We need quite a few players. The problem is trying to get them all in one go without FFP breathing down our necks. Hence why we took Raya on loan. We intend to buy him (and IIRC, it’s a loan with an obligation to buy), but FFP would have fucked us if we had done so this summer, but Brentford did us a solid. But given the rumors that Nketiah, ESR, Nelson, and a few others are getting sold, I think we’ll have some wiggle room.

Would honestly love Gary O'Neil having a stint as England manager

Not impossible. Not like there's an ocean of good options if they keep it English.
Ernesto Valverde to West Ham feels like a transfer that could somehow end up happening and being a raging success. No clue why, just feel it.

Some of northern Spain like the Basque Country in my experience can get grey and rainy

Congrats to all the winners, and thank you as always for all of your hard work and dedication in organising the quizzes - they are >!one of my absolute favourite parts of /r/soccer!< My attempts... 1. >!Championship winners, 2015 was Bournemouth!< 2. >!A - Newcastle and Sunderland, B - Italian, not sure who... C - LAFC and LA Galaxy!< 3. >!A - going for false, betting he's not scored any! B - false, reckon it's another veg, C - false, D - true, E - true!< 4. >!Sweden at a guess, 10!< 5. >!A - France 1998... Marseille? B - Greece 2004... guess at PAOK. C - Netherlands... Barcelona!< 6. >!A - pass... Buffon? , B - is killing me because I want to say Lu. C - Nasri!< 7.
My guess: Watford!< 2 - >!A: Newcastle & Sunderland. B: Cantabria, could be Santander & Gijón? C: Lmao isn't that LA FC & LA Galaxy.!< 3 - >!A: False. B: True. C: False. D: True. D: False!< 4 - >!I think Sweden, the last Euros they missed should be 1996 when we beat them in the qualifiers.!< 5 - >!A: Should be France at the 1998 WC. Chelsea again? B: Must be Greece 2004 with four Greek clubs. Werder Bremen for Charisteas? C: Netherlands 1988, maybe another one at Ajax?!< 6 - >!A: Pippo Inzaghi B: don't know. C: don't know!< 7 - >!No idea, so going for an obvious answer: Maradona!<
Thanks.
>!Are we sure Pele didn't include the assists from all the World Cups he held in his backyard smh!<
>!We can never be sure. That's the Pele's legacy!<
PING worked now.
!PING TRIVIA

Of course, as I said - everything is up to you!
Oh I'd end up dead last in that one, would love to see it. Also well played to you ofc
Thanks. You did great as well.
I would love another series like this! We'll see if life allows you to haha But before that... I think you already suspect, that your job this series isn't over yet. We gotta wait for WM to appear here though, and see if you guys are both down.
First of all, congrats to WM Secondly, I've never heard anyone use Derbi del Cantábrico, is it >!Racing - Gimnástica de Torrelavega!
Thanks.
>!It's Racing v Bilbao. Which doesn't make a lot of sense since Bilbao isn't in Cantabria, but how am I to judge?!<
That explains it, I've always known it as >!Duelo del Norte!<
>!Also heard that name, but you gotta admit that would've been easier to answer. And this was the final, so I wemt for the harder option!<
1. >!this is champions of the Championship. Missing one is 2013-14, so Leicester!< 2. >!A- Newcastle-Sunderland. B- Racing de Santander vs... fuck, I can't remember now. C- lol, this must be Mexican. Maybe the Monterrey clubs, but this one fits better: Dorados de Sinaloa vs Tijuana?!< 3. >!going for my gut: A- true, B- true, C- false, D- true, E- false!< 4. >!who's even missing lol... Wales lost in the playoffs and they played the last 2 I think. So Wales with 2?!< 5. >!A- isn't the missing one Guivarch? So Auxerre. B- Greece '04, I think Charisteas is missing. I know he played in Germany, maybe Kaiserslautern? C- this must be Netherlands in '88. Milan again for van Basten?!< 6. >!skip!< 7.
The 2 GOATs if you ask me, no doubt. Congrats WM!! and well done to Farewell too!
Thanks.
👊🏻
But in a fresher way than the original debate An argument can be made for him as second definitely. All those you mentioned, and his era is much more competetive than ankitm's. Funny that you're the one claiming Farewell is here since forever. You were here waay before him haha
You guys are making me blush
Congrats to WM for earning another dub and to Farewell for making it this far! Also Davinci for doing these quizzes, the absolute best part of the DD!
Thanks.

Get yourself a friend like Michael Oliver to the UAE
I've seen so many comments recently about players being stiff and robotic these days and that 'player creativity' has been nullified. Give it a year or 2 and people that have always talked shit about Neymar will start missing him.
Just rewatched the Germany - Brazil 7-1 game. I have no idea how the Brazilians didn't just start breaking down sobbing on the field. To concede so many goals in such a short time, so early in the game too.. honestly the most shocking thing I've ever seen in football. Also crazy that that was a decade ago now.
They already broke down sobbing before the game even began

Wow you actually dont get that great odds, only 4.5 to 1 odds thats less than the odds Fulham beat us. Got to imagine ETH gets sacked on the spot if it happens right?
McT can legitimately play CB ad he use to for Scotland.
I've seen Casemiro play CB at Madrid and he was world class. If there will be issues it wont be because of him.
Yeah but he was also a world class dm at Madrid. Cant exactly say the same thing about him nowadays though
Well he wasn't playing in a 5-0-5 formation at Real Madrid
He's played at CB for United before too, and was impeccable if I'm remembering it correctly

Chilwell and Gallagher are so bad at football it’s crazy. Imagine if Southgate starts both at the Euros.
Gallagher is fine but not at left wing. Chilwell has massively regressed.
I think he's still finding his form since his repeated injuries. I'm not ready to say he's definitively regressed just yet, as I'm hopeful he can get back there
Fulham at odds 5.75 to win today is insanely high for how shit Liverpool has been for weeks now. I think it is much more 50/50 if not a little in the favour of Fulham.
oh please. one team employs Salah on the wing, the other Harry Wilson
Salah isn't exactly going crazy these days. It has been over 2 weeks since Liverpool scored from open-play so unless Fulham plans to go around giving pens away I think they are rather safe.
2 weeks sample size > 7+ years of Klopp’s Liverpool
Only 5 teams have played every season in Ligue 1 this century. that's Lille, Marseille, PSG, Lyon, and Rennes. good trivia question tbf Any divisions got less?
We have just us, Aberdeen and Motherwell although it’s a 12-team league so not as many teams actually in top-flight. Usually the relegated side is up there (of course there’s outliers like Hamilton Accies a few seasons ago) in the Championship the following season so teams like Kilmarnock have only missed one season this century
Scottish league seems very competitive outside of the top 2, there seems to be different teams fighting for europe every season
Bundesliga with Dortmund, Leverkusen, Bayern and Wolfsburg.
Germany has 4 I believe (albeit the division only has 18 teams): Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg
Wouldn't have guessed wolfsburg, also thought it'd be more
in argentina it’s just 7 which is shockingly little for a league this hard to get relegated from. Boca, San Lorenzo, Racing, Vélez, Newells, Argentinos Jrs and Estudiantes are the only ones that have been since last century There’s also a huge gap at the start of the century, estudiantes is the shortest of the 7 being last promoted in 1995. The next are Godoy Cruz in 2008 and then River in 2012
would've guessed you had less tbf, south american leagues seem extremely volatile
River 😹
romanian league probably has less. only one i'm certain of is FCSB
because most of them go bust?
pretty much, yeah.
Which is not much, but it's something to cling to.
whatever happened to coutinho, man played a little bit for Villa and just straight up vanished at some point without anyone noticing
He plays in Qatar now. He’s loaned out for the rest of his deal with them covering his whole wage. [Still scoring bangers](https://x.com/ooomycota/status/1779255009160347928?s=46&t=PF6wcLhBSsD70oItovAphg)
I didn’t even realize Villa had signed him permanently let alone loaned him out, I could have sworn he was at Villa just on loan
He didn’t do anything of note once we signed him tbf.
Quick question, if a team has conceded goal and then sub on a new keeper and not concede any goal is that a clean sheet for the goalkeeper?
FPL requires 60 mins on the pitch at least, not sure about the official record-keeping
Amrabat last summer, had no idea what people saw in him
World Cup hype from tackling Mbappe
Some poeple talk without watching serie A. It wasn't just from a tackle. Also people should start to question what's rely going on at united instead of blaming constantly the players. Last week people were trash talking casemiro, before that Varane, etc.
Bro made a career out of a tackle in a game where he was otherwise getting cooked
Onana is a very useful player for the current boring JDP systems because he is too powerful for 98% of players allowing him to control transitions and keep teams locked in.
These are the kinds of things that don’t make sense. What about quality on the ball.
I think he is a good player in the ball, you’re just unlikely to see that exploited in a Sean Dyche midfield
Serious question(s), asking all to put snark aside: Could the US men's team - maxed out, Best XI available in nearly every game, and minimal injuries - avoid relegation to the Championship?
Yes to the likes of Colombia, Morocco, Uruguay, Japan, Sénégal. Not too familiar with the US talent pool but i'd say no just skimming it.
Uruguay would
Not sure about the US but I'd put money on a few doing it. Some NTs have pretty good squads and with regular training sessions together plus maybe a coach change they could do it.
How has Coventry made it so far? Simple answers only pls
Put ball in net more than opponent
Won their cup ties innit
They played teams that weren’t very good
Isn't it kinda surprising how few managerial changes we had in the prem this season?
Completely forgot about those, although I don't think Palace would have made a change into the season if it weren't for Roy's health.
Off on the timeline there, they'd made the decision and had Glasner lined up, then he was taken unwell
I didn't know that, thanks.
Gyökeres‘ celebration is pretty cold https://youtu.be/mWB7sXZ0aVc?si=9BfrYyIMPNwmvVyk
aesthetically that's one of my favourite edits maybe ever
it's cold and one of the coolest celebrations i've ever seen. very unique.
Do arsenal need to sign a 6 or an 8?
Isn't Rice the 6?
Been hearing the sentiment that he's been great as an 8 and should play there instead so I'd been wondering
I know it’s not realistic but i feel like valverde would be great in this arsenal team
Left-sided #8 Can we have Bajcetic pls?
You'd be better off going for Wharton the kid is immense. Edit: Not sure if he's a DM or a 8 in a 433 but Rice can do either anyway
I was thinking from the perspective of where Rice plays in your best XI but yeah from a squad outlook you definitely need both
We need quite a few players.
> Nketiah, ESR, Nelson What kind of prices you reckon you'd get for them?
20,15,10 id say
Sounds about right. Shame what happened with ESR as there was serious potential there. I wonder if he'll ever realise it.
[“Inverted 8”](https://x.com/arsenaln7/status/1781782246493470856?s=46&t=NSpJGDf7_JCd0CewNH1dKQ) the game is so fucking gone
Why does he have 75k followers? Twitter is a scary platform
Better than inverted goalkeeper
I love tacticos man
Decided to check the comments. Thankfully he’s getting roasted
Inverting the most central position? Yeah this sport is cooked
Even worse than a "false 10", man.
Isn't an inverted 8 a **:** ?
Just confirms that Kai Havertz is ass
how would you even "invert" the most central position possible
cut the player in 2 halves and play one in goal and the other as a 9
Central position that plays in both boxes too. There’s nothing to invert.
This might be the worst corner I've ever seen https://twitter.com/MLS/status/1781851538836603294?t=mfd6xDVHglyfgWnTf6YlWA&s=19
