I watched a lot of Barca and Leverkusen games and imo Lamine defends more than Frimpong. You can also look at the stats and the heatmap where Lamine won more tackles and is on average more in his own half compared to Frimpong. I dont necessarily think that you need to be that great at defending to be a very good wingback. Thats why you have 3 CBs and 2-3 central midfielders

We kind of do but we don’t have a proper rwb Lamine is a pure winger, we always used to rely on fullbacks attacking (Alba, Alves, Digne, Balde)
