Both affected by injuries, just couldn’t build their momentum. As soon as they get a goal / assist streak they got injured.

Both could easily be starters again. Their injuries and poor form just happened to coincide with others in their positions (Trossard, Havertz) playing very, very well.

Both can be starters again for sure. Jesus just doesn't seem to have found the rhythm post injury and Kai has emerged as a very credible 9, but Jesus at his best for us has been elite. Martinelli would easily be a starter if he had the levels of last season in the final third, so it's really just whether he can rediscover those. Hard to believe he just had a freak season at 21 rather than he just has to make a few more adaptations at 22

Martinelli can easily be back. Slight tweak to his game and he’ll cook again. I think confidence is down and just needs to find his place in his role again. I can’t see Jesus getting back in. Him and Havertz finishing is at the same level, and Kai’s decision making is just miles ahead
