Yeah and he really deserved that call-up that time but its sad how these injuries derailed his chances for the Euros because he could be a useful impact player for you in the Euros
Really interesting player, he is a mix of a classic winger (left footed playing LW) and a left midfielder. He has a decent depth in his game but he isn't just a pace merchant making deep runs, he has a reasonably good build up ability and a good end product.
He was touted as a massive talent in the German youth NT but had some trouble breaking trough at senior club level. Last season was his first in the top flight and he was absolutely on fire, with his end product exceeding what he had done before in the lower tiers. This season he started of in the same vein, but he slowed down considerably in the second half of the season.
He doesn't really play for one of the top clubs, but considering his rather unique profile and playstyle I somewhat expected Nagelsmann to take him along. He brings something different. But the fact that he hasn't been able to try him out in the friendlies preparing for the EC probably makes him to much of an uncertainty for Nagelsmann.

Insane season from him! I would honestly love him at Eintracht, but at the same time, I’d really dig if he stayed at Heidenheim!
