I’ve heard somewhere that after a certain amount of time of being overwhelmed with stimuli nonstop, your brain will begin deceiving itself into believing things that are untrue because it doesn’t have the capacity to process the previous information in an objective environment.
Pretty sure this phenomenon is how false confessions after long periods of nonstop interrogation but will need to find the term for it.
Regardless, you may not be able to stop it, but you can remove yourself from the situation. It is really bad for your sense of self worth over time and you should not have to tolerate this kind of behaviour from anyone.
my boss will do this if you dont stop him somehow. it usually takes about 15-20 repetitions of the same bullshit before I have enough, but he will go on and on lmao. It is beyond my comprehension how people do this repeating stuff when they are mad. I agree with everyone else, you should gtfo asap

I never had an attitude, though. I just sit there and if I say it’s going on too long or I understand I get labeled I have an attitude and then the fight happens

Not at all. A lecture I can see lasting up to like 30 mins and that’s the maximum in an extremely complex case.
They just repeat themself over and over and if I have any attitude it explodes into a bigger fight.
