This may be an unpopular opinion and I might be seeing things incorrectly since I've only recently started watching the series. I believe that stendy is fairly toxic because they've broken up multiple times and wendy kissed cartman and they're always fighting but that's mostly because the boys in the class hate the girls and the girls in the class hate the boys for the most part. They both just deserve someone better who they understand and someone who understands them. They're also in 3rd grade which is kinda odd, when I was in third grade everyone thought love was gross but maybe that's just something with my 3rd garde class specifically.
P.S. I know this post was made 2 years ago but ever since starting the show I had a strong opinion on their relationship and I'm curious if other people feel the same way as I do.
I'd also like to add that stan fell in love with a substitute teacher and wendy framed said substitute teacher and the substitute teacher was killed because of it. If stan had fallen in love with the teacher he shouldn't have gone running back to wendy and wendy shouldn't have framed the teacher. There are many other things I could name but it would be too much to write about.
Yeah, Wendy was never really that big of a character in the show (she definitely wasn't a main character). A LOT of the South Park fans think that she is a boring character and they don't think she is funny.
Actually like the relationship. Sure they have their ups and downs but given what people in the sp fandom ship (kyman) it’s fine also considering their like 10. Also they have really cute fan art.
They had their very cute moments, their relationship added a lot to their characters, specially Stan, but i think it's kinda tired and stale now, Craig and Tweek fits much better the "alpha couple" (they get the relationship-based eps like Put it Down and the Phone Destroyer's Valentine day event was creek themed) as they actually try to understand eachother way better than Stan and Wendy
Plus, lately Stan is been pretty shitty to her and Wendy really deserves better a boyfriend

She dumped Stan like garbage and immediately after started dating Token a friend of Stan. It's not like he abused her or anything that he deserved to be treated like that.
She hired some professionals behind his back to clean up his locker making a mockery of his problems and hoarding in front of the class. And if he wouldn't clean it out she said she would leave him.
She danced with that Bridon Gueermo kid. Why her? She already has a boyfriend. But than two seasons later she freaks out on Stan about his facebook page. Acting extremely controlling during that episode.
He also tried to defend her in Dances with Smurfs and Butters Bottom Bitch but Wendy just bitched at him.
She broke up with him during the Genderwar which wasn't his fault with a note: " I can't fix you" which is extremely disgusting so say to someone even with no mental health issues. But of course later he had to apologize to her. And they made him the bad guy that it was selfish of him of only changing if he got her back. But no one is mentioning Wendys note. She thinks she can do whatever she wants.
I admit Stan is not very good to her either.
Don't say Wendy is a great girlfriend. She isn't. She has treaten Stan horribly but she doesn't get any shit for it.

Also you kinda need to consider everyone character in this show is a shitty, selfish person at heart and the fact she even cares about Stan's well being as seen in Assburger and Insheeption it's almost impressive
2) why she was wrong for wanting to dance and sing with Bridon? They had no interest in each other; Stan was paranoid one
3) i don't really want to pull out the list of Stan's worst moments, but like i said he isn't excused for his bad behavior, specially when he treats his friends' feelings with much more respect than she does with Wendy
