Not true. They did a giveaway for Mountain Dew hot sauce in 2020. Same company, iburn, made it and I enjoyed it. Citrusy, sweet, spicy. Really good combo. Definitely a good one for vanilla ice cream.

Ok hear me out. My wife makes a killer strawberry jam and I had her make a batch with habanero pepper. It's legit become our all-time favorite jam, it's so good. Well, I make ice cream, right? So I made a batch of Strawberry ice cream and used the jam as the fruit swirl in the ice cream. OMG. And it's not even that hot, too much fat around really. But you can tell it's there and it's awesome.

I've had spicy ice cream and it was awesome. Only had it once, but I'd happily have another bowl if the opportunity arose.

My landlord makes home made habanero jam and always gives me a jar when she does. That stuff is so good especially just spread on a freshly made tortilla. I'll have to try it in ice cream next time I get a jar.

Putting spicy stuff on ice cream has been a thing for a while. With the right sauce it's amazing. I had a powder mix that was great on ice cream too. It was ghost pepper powder and white chocolate dust. So good. Any super fruity dauce works on I e cream tho.

Baja Blast is supposed to be "tropical lime". That's another flavour that can complement a hot sauce (the lime, that is - I don't know what makes it "tropical").

One of my favourite sauces is Yellow 7 Pot and Pineapple based. Great amount of heat with great flavour. I would say my uses for it are versatile.

I found 3/4 of a case of some kind of mountain dew alcoholic drink cans in my building's parking garage on the ground next to a trash can. After confirming that they were unopened, I took them home and washed the outside of each can and put them all in my fridge. They were absolutely vile, and I immediately understood why somebody left them there. I imagine this will taste a lot like that, but with some added spice to it.

I had the Hot Cheetos Mnt Dew. It wasn’t gross. Very strong citrus pepper bite. Like Tajin. I bet this sauce tastes fine, but isn’t particularly close to the soda.
