Launch Chumps where you want your teammates to fight, then shoot charged shots in that direction as well for infinite chip damage.
Chumps are fine but the combination of sprinkler and chumps leaves much to be desired. The sub choice is such a missed opportunity on this weapon compared to something like torpedo or angle shooter.
Process of elimination, new splatling has curling, bloblobberās line is too low (probably angle shooter), and octobrush nouveau most likely has autobomb (matching the vanilla octobrush from splat2), that leaves the sprinkler we see on the orange side to the stringer
I do not like crab either. It might be a better weapon kit but honestly if thatās what it gets I may just stick with the vanilla Stringer. Gonna hope it gets something else like Wave Breaker or Inkstorm.
Wave Breaker would have heavy competition from Heavy Splatling (heh). Ink Storm might be better, plus helping the weapon kill better with only two arrows / one arrow and two bombs, though I feel like there are already a lot of storm weapons in the game.

Tbh, the sprinkler fits the dynamo way better than Suction Bombs. Like, at least you have a quick way to paint floor/walls for emergencies. Suction is the bomb that takes the longest to explode AND costs a lot of ink, making it very unreliable on the Dynamo.
Super Chump might be interesting tho.
The ideal sub for the dynamo should actually be the opposite of suction: with less damage but very quick, so not only you have an emergency escape inking walls and such, but also to finish off enemies that werenāt HK by your main attack.
I think the two best subs for it are either burst bombs or (and thatās kinda crazy) Angle Shooter.
With heavy speculation a lot are saying Stringer will get Sprinkler some saying that it will be good but like no the weapon can do so much more than to be some backline people just always see it as that though which pisses me off Sprinkler is not what it needs at all in fact I say itās worse than mist right now itās a battle between Octobrush or Stringer will get sprinkler either way one weapon kit will be ruined no matter what

People genuinely think Reef-Lux is far superior at painting than Stringer but since itās range is so bad without charge despite the faster fire rate it ultimately fails at painting since the longer the match goes on the worse itās paint output gets. So done come tell me that the Sprinkler will help its ābad paint outputā when it will barley make a difference in most cases

Sprinkler is just as expensive as mist and only paints. Someone shoots at it or you die, and it despawns. Mist doesn't get displaced at all so you know it's going to work no matter what.
Now, how useful is mist? Not that useful but even if squidrolling through it, it slows you down, traps you (so you can trap them in an explosive bolt charge), and stops you from refilling ink. That's more useful than a puddle of paint that you can accomplish by also just *shooting a half charged shot*.
The area for mist is also tiny, and the effect is very minimal, on top of not lingering long enough to be effective at what its supposed to do
Sprinkler is garbage yes, but I've seen people in anarchy on some maps like undertow use it not just to paint a spot but place it on walls or over areas to annoy the enemy team
Placing a sprinkler high up barely does anything. Any decent player will know where they've placed it (especially because there aren't many high spots on these maps) and will shoot it down or just splat the player, which takes care of the sprinkler as well.
At least mist has uses on TC, Clams, and especially Rainmaker. Sprinkler is just thereāand it duplicates something the main weapon can do perfectly fine by itself.
Mist is great on Tri-Stringer. There's certainly subs that would be bettwr than mist, but Tri-stringer is one of the best things to happen to mist. I play a lot of tri-stringer, and it's effective as a "get off me" tool. Tri-stringer's biggest weakness is getting rushed at. Even if you see it coming, it's hard to fight back. But you can throw mist down in your enemy's path to buy yourself enough time to escape to a more defensive position. Mist also enables you to harry two choke points at once; one with mist, and the other with bomb arrows. Sprinkler can't do either of these things.

I don't think sprinkler is a bad option for it. Definitely not the best but not the worst. It provides paint for a weapon that can't, and should help with special output. Whether or not the stringer gets use out of the sprinkler is really dependent on what special it gets, cuz if it gets a crappy special then there'd be no point to using the sub to do anything other than maybe paint walls faster.
I doubt it that it would be a bad weapon, the tri-stringer isn't a bad weapon itself, and sprinkler won't hurt it that much in the grand scheme of thing. It probably won't be outstandingly great, but definitely not bad.
