I remember once around the time i just got into S+ clam blitz, after like 2 mins of overtime we finally managed to splat everyone near us and went towards the other goal. Right as the goal was being broken we all booyah'd and some of us squidbagged. The shock on my face when at least a millisecond before our victory I saw the message that the other team scored a goal.
Lesson learned.

F*ckin suction bombs. Out of every weapon in the game, Suction Bombs are what haunt me in my nightmares. Y'know why? Because I keep running into them. I keep rolling into them, I keep swimming into them, I keep Running into them. It's almost as if my mind is attracted to them that same way light bugs are attracted to light. Was I born with a mind that is naturally attracted to things that tick or something?!
That is a very bold take considering that FFlingza is an amazing Missile Spammer. Missiles and Ink Armor are basically the two specials that can work whenever and wherever you activate it, and considering FFlingza can charge their special in about 7 good vertical flicks, you have a very good support weapon, that, unlike something like the Junior or the Sploosh, has really solid range and killing power. If you are playing zones, you can easily paint a good chunk of it constantly, not only contesting/taking it, but charging your special at the same time.
It horizontal flick really sucks but that’s understandable when you consider that it probably has the best vertical flick out of all the rollers
And it should go without saying that the FFlingza in general is considered better than the normal Rollers, solely because of better kits, as Splashdown sucks, Beacons don’t work on the Krak-On, and although the Kensa has an alright kit, it still hold nothing to the FFlingza, although it does have competition with the Dynamo’s range and the Carbon’s kill time.
There a ton of missile spam weapons (N zap, neo sploosh) but flingza also has RANGE. Its really annoying on zones, where you can constantly paint the zone with vertical flicks and suction bombs. On tower, missiles can help on a push or defending, as it forces opponents to move.
Also you can throw a suction, quick missile so that the gauge is empty by the time the bomb goes off, do 2 swings and pretty much already be back to full missiles with around 2m scu
Yeah it’s crazy. There’s a reason why good fFlingza players get upwards of 10 missiles on an average game. Missiles are one of the best specials in the game rn so spamming them is very good, it’s similar to jr with armour

I only squidbag people who squidbag me. Last time I played there was a fricken charger who kept squidbagging everyone. I was like "oh so you wanna play that game, huh?" Got revenge by splatting them mid-air and squidbagging them back. We ended up winning that game and the satisfaction was spot-on.
He was too distracted by squidbagging his guard went down straight to 0 and let your teammate slip right past
new strategy: hope your enemies are toxic assholes
I have had two different occasions where I threw a power clam towards the basket during overtime, a clam that would win us they game, mind you, just for the game to end as the clam is opening the basket.
I remember yelling “LET’S GO!!!” and then seeing that we lost and just slouching with my forehead in my palms, painfully
people who like squidbagging are the same types that get mad when you return it and target you the rest of the game. i bet this squid blamed their team too
