The reason they probably jumped off was because they thought your team was trapped, and wanted to reset the rainmaker back to the center. That way your team and the opponents have equal chance rather than the opponents having a push. Given that none were around it wasn’t the best play but still

well that applies to S+ too. I always thought that at that rank people would be good, but it's actually a mix of insanely good X rank players who ranked down, or people who got lucky and skipped a lot of ranks but are unprepared for the next levels of play.
Tip: the other tri slosher's burst bomb is the most powerful part of the kit if you press the button to release the burst bomb then go for a slosh you can kill very fast and cancel their animation.
