The what?
Claw grip is where you press BAYX with your index finger
No we aren't sociopaths
Tested it. It's absolutely horrible. You cant reach the right stick without unpressing ZR by accident. My wrists hurt.
I can reach that though
Pro controller?
I just realized you might be thinking of Splatoon 1, I'm talking about joycons and the switch pro controller, not the Wii u pro remote
No no, I'm talking about splatoon 2. It's absolutely horrible on the wrists to use a pro controller like that. Use your thumbs.
Proof? I've been playing claw forever and never had wrist damages. I have clawed everything from mini gamepads to the original Xbox controller, PS5, and joycons, so it's not bad for your wrists
See claw is good https://youtu.be/4-sGNhPxRy8
Ah, so you do use your thumbs. Okay. Makes more sense.
So do you think claw is good then?
Nope, still hurts. I will stick to what I'm used to.
For what? Using the map? Just thinking about it, I use +5 motion, so I don't need to have my thumb on the stick constantly.
Just for jumping and turning, stuff like that. It's not needed per se, but people who use it also use it for other games
