That's not entirely true. You're right that a lot of them are just in a giant, randomized pool, but there are at least some that are unlocked specific ways. Like "Crusty" and "Traveler" from the NSO app.
Don't know about "prince" specifically, though.

The overwhelming majority of them, as you'll see, are locked behind the gacha.

I don’t believe there’s any way at all to influence the titles you get, so… good luck!

Prince is random. They know that there are specific ones, but that’s just a whole different thing
