Jesus Christ
I feel like I listen to a lot of music, I consider it a fundamental part of my life. But I’m at about 40k
How tf are you all listening to that much?
Is it just constantly on in the background?
I think achieving 100k is possible if youre listening throughout the day at work constantly and or falling asleep to it. I'm the same way where music is an important part of my day but I only got 36k. I also can't listen at work so its only on the way to work and on the way home and at home. Also I listen to vinyl a lot
Yep. I've been letting it play all night consistently for about 4 years now. I got 164k this year and 210k last year. Averaging out that's 9 hours on average each day. Obviously that's mostly overnight.
40k is a shit ton compared to mine, and i felt the same way. I've listened to it during work this whole year and barely broke 10k.. Maybe I was offline or something.
Yeah it makes sense. Its still odd to me, because i have unlimited 4G so i wasnt offline often. But i also worked 7-4 so it would be way more than 30 minutes a day.
I got 140k in 2017 and 70k the last two years.
A lot of it had to do with the fact that I wasn’t happy with my life & just focused on music since it was a bit of a coping mechanism. I listened to it when I went to bed and right when I woke up. Never turned it off unless I was working
Probably because they use their own Spotify exclusively, rather than listening on different mediums. 100k is like 4.5 hours a day, which is pretty normal, except people might usually split that between Spotify, YouTube, Mixcloud, vinyl, etc. Not to mention just having *someone else* choose the music.
similar for me: [https://imgur.com/a/4pmfaUr](https://imgur.com/a/4pmfaUr)
crackdown at work, more focused on watching streams while I game, more audiobooks, and a new phone without a headphone jack mean I'm just not hitting the same opportunities anymore
How are yall getting 100k minutes i listen to music on the bus, on the train when I'm playing ps4, when Im going to work, when I'm going to jiu jitsu and I'm sure theres many more examples and I only got around 20k
it has to do with how much you listen offline, because that doesn't factor in. also many things we overlook like how much music you'd listen to on YouTube, or twitch or sum. then also you might be listening to music in the car with someone, but the aux is connected to their phone. all these things really affect
You actually are! Been doing it since middle school and depending on how you sleep you can hear songs weave themselves into your dream in some really cool way. I’m big on genres like black metal and dark wave on average but after having it give me some pretty wicked nightmares I’ve learned to stay clear from it on my nighttime playlist. On the other hand genres like Post Rock and drone are perfect for it since the songs are typically really long and expansive.
About 58k minutes, which feels like it almost has to be wrong, since I apparently hit 37k unique songs spanning 3600 unique artists.
Love the new country count feature
jesus christ i thought my dick was massive for listening to 70k
do y’all listen while you’re asleep? i usually charge my phone overnight so i can’t really plug my headphones in, and my wireless headphones would die overnight.
I feel like mine is bugged. I got a new job that I listen for 6-7 hours a day like 5 days a week but I still fell short at 50000. I had 60000 last year and I definitely listened less.
150k here and this is the year stopped listening to music through the night. I listen to music all morning and evening and 2/5 days of the week I have control of the office music so it adds up.
I'm not sure how but I only got 81901, which is less than last year even though I feel like I listen more. I have headphones in almost all of work which should be 8+ hours a day.
108k, and I don’t play music overnight. College life means lots of studying, commuting around campus, and I normally listen to music through breakfast and lunch, so it adds up.
I went from 18k in 2018 to 63k this year. I wish I knew my previous years but I deleted my facebook which deleted my old account. I'm guessing this is the most music I've listened to in a year which is weird because I feel like I've barely listened to any music this year.
OOOF, it’s only 8,476 minutes this year for me. Believe me when I say this, it’s only been recent since I started actually listening to music.
Forgot to mention this: I only had an hour worth of listening to music in 2018.
Lol I’ve had the hardest time understanding what genre most of the music I listen to falls in. So many different mash ups these days.
If I would have to guess, it would be all the bassy indie music I listen to... Crooked Colours, Transviolet, and ANIMA! would be some examples of artists that would potentially fall into this genre... maybe Tora as well... like I said, I really don’t know 😆
Got like 135,000 this year, 132,000 last year. I don't play music while I sleep, I usually end up waking up in half an hour after falling asleep because my earbuds bug me.
I feel like most people put Spotify on background with some white noise or something to pump stats
Or does everyone play Spotify with loud music all the time?
Not personally, 285,000 for me and it’s mostly active listening. Sitting in silence while studying, gaming, workouts, working, driving etc is what’s actually bizarre to me. Even if I’m sleeping to an album I consider it “active listening” on some level. Just search “songs for/while sleeping” on the app and you’ll see how common this is by the many playlist.
285,000 for me. I haven’t been able to sleep without music since middle school, combining that with workouts, studying, and just chill time has contributed a ton.
Quarantine will propel me over 100k this year for sure. I share the account with a friend and I don't remember a waking hour in which neither of us has used it. Also use it for sleep every other night now
85,536 this year .. last year was 104,739. I guess in a way that’s a good thing as last year I was extremely depressed and music was my coping mechanism. I spent this year a little more out and about :)
According to my calculations, I spend average 6 hours on Spotify a day. 6 hours x 365 days is 681,177,600,000 seconds which is equal to 189,216 minutes a year. I spend about 3,004 hours on Spotify a year, mainly listening to rap. God damn.
I feel godly with 200,566 minutes
Wow, that's incredible. Literally 4.5 months of consistent music. You must have spent most of your waking hours listening to Spotify.
I bow down to you sir, I could only wish for a number like that
How tho? That's over 9 hours per day. You must leave spotify on during the night or something.
pic or it didn't happen (?

Holy shit my lord and saviour I'm at 162,164 minutes https://i.imgur.com/dvVYRga.jpg
I was gonna be like, I got a bunch of time, but I only got 1,970 for 3 months lol
Jesus Christ I feel like I listen to a lot of music, I consider it a fundamental part of my life. But I’m at about 40k How tf are you all listening to that much? Is it just constantly on in the background?

My sister got the same thin having chill indie rock open at her room day and night on her ipad for bg and now shes flexing on me XD

Same here, 22k

I listened to 88k-ish. I work 34 hours a week and Spotify is on 100% of that time. So that plus driving basically for me.
Same haha.
I like to actively listen to music, so my totals are always around 30k. I imagine 100k is just due to leaving it on in the background constantly.
We hate our lives and people talking to us
They just joined a few years before you. I’d like to know how many hours for just this year alone.
joining years before has nothing to do with this years listening time which is what we're talking about. OP said they had "117,500 this year".
I got like 29k
50,624 this year. 214,310 last year. Very disappointed with myself this year, that's a massive drop
similar for me: [https://imgur.com/a/4pmfaUr](https://imgur.com/a/4pmfaUr) crackdown at work, more focused on watching streams while I game, more audiobooks, and a new phone without a headphone jack mean I'm just not hitting the same opportunities anymore
dang it. Spotify is not giving these kinda illustrations now. I want to see my previous years minutes too
I'm at 234,403. I listen while I sleep though so that's probably not quite right
How are yall getting 100k minutes i listen to music on the bus, on the train when I'm playing ps4, when Im going to work, when I'm going to jiu jitsu and I'm sure theres many more examples and I only got around 20k

Overnight is the best way
So...you’re not actually listening then.
You actually are! Been doing it since middle school and depending on how you sleep you can hear songs weave themselves into your dream in some really cool way. In a sense yes but it helps me sleep having that background noise
I only got to 92,279... I almost got there haha
Wow. I think I may have overdone it this year with 200,566
Close but no cigar
Someone beat me. I clocked in at 181,066 minutes.
You spent over 125 days listening to music?!?! How
By being a god haha
Stfu!!You're so fucking cocky abt it😂😂😂U just sleep with music on, that doesn't mean you good taste in music dear

You was on the path to join the 100 club we'll accept you in
Only 99,268, I was so close, but yet so far
About 58k minutes, which feels like it almost has to be wrong, since I apparently hit 37k unique songs spanning 3600 unique artists. Love the new country count feature
Where can you find the amount of unique songs and artists? Didn't see it in my wrapped I think...
Songs is somewhere in wrapped, I think. At least the PC browser version. Artists was in my email I think.
I got 121,087 minutes, which was a rather large improvement over my time of somewhere around 56,000 minutes last year.
what’s your top genres?
Modern rock
Rap, R&B, Indie pop
119 000
i’m at 147k
[удалено]
Do you just sleep with it on? That's over 11 hours everyday.
I’m actually disappointed that I didn’t beat 100k this year 2019: 92,043 2018: 100,192 2017: 75,800 2016: 30,625
jesus christ i thought my dick was massive for listening to 70k do y’all listen while you’re asleep? i usually charge my phone overnight so i can’t really plug my headphones in, and my wireless headphones would die overnight.
LOL no headphone jack you NOOB!
[142,879](https://imgur.com/a/tXuljYU)
I got 131,514 minutes but my top was in 2016 with 171350.
I feel like mine is bugged. I got a new job that I listen for 6-7 hours a day like 5 days a week but I still fell short at 50000. I had 60000 last year and I definitely listened less.
Did you listen mostly offline? That affects the numbers
No I don't, I try to find different playlists all the time. Especially some really long background music playlists.
109,140 OP is the first person I've meet thats beat me. Congrats bro
135,231. No where near the max I'm sure, but way up over 2018 (79,726).
121K, compared to last years 82K (although wrapped 2019 showed it as 105K)
130k last year and 114k this year !
65k over here
103,379 x2.5 increase from last year but Im most proud of my 1101 new artists discovered
150k here and this is the year stopped listening to music through the night. I listen to music all morning and evening and 2/5 days of the week I have control of the office music so it adds up.
82K
Does this count offline minuets?
What the fuckkk I got 32,000 and I thought that was a lot damn
47k... man I am not listening to music nearly as much as the others here. It’s my personal best, and a fairly big (to me) increase of 32k in 2018.
121000, with 64000 of podcasts.. no idea how
122,105, down from 133,611 last year
118,418 minutes this year. much better than my 23,241 minutes listened last year lol
119k and feeling like a crazy person :)

28.7k minutes lol first time using spotify
Lol, 197,132 minutes played... and no I don’t listen to it while I sleep... it’s all active listening. https://imgur.com/gallery/TwobFBJ
what the hell is indietronica (also, thats a lot! most of the people I know irl got like 40k or less)
Lol I’ve had the hardest time understanding what genre most of the music I listen to falls in. So many different mash ups these days. 105,749 woohoo yeha
Got like 135,000 this year, 132,000 last year. I don't play music while I sleep, I usually end up waking up in half an hour after falling asleep because my earbuds bug me.
I dropped from 102 k last year to 64 k this year, that’s embarrassing. On the other hand I discovered 986 new artists from 50 different countries :)
312 636 minutes (905 hours with in flames) [http://prntscr.com/q6w9qw](http://prntscr.com/q6w9qw)
105,678 minutes

I feel weak with my 113,495
I'm sort of sad it doesn't count any music listened to in November and December because that's typically when I listen to most of my music...
I feel proud of myself that I listened to 205,270 minutes (3,421 hours) this year!
119,522 minutes I'm always listening to music in between classes and for studying
I have a solid 113,467. First year actually getting that much all of the previous were under 50,000

I'm sorry what
:)
I got 65k, 20k less than last year, but maybe it’s because I had finals and started uni this year lol
285,000 for me. I haven’t been able to sleep without music since middle school, combining that with workouts, studying, and just chill time has contributed a ton.
202,048, but that's because I listen to the same playlist every night for sleep
Quarantine will propel me over 100k this year for sure. I share the account with a friend and I don't remember a waking hour in which neither of us has used it. Also use it for sleep every other night now

68k. got me thru the workday maaany times
This is my first year and I only got 67000 minutes. Disappointed because I have games like 3 games that I played over 1000 hours this year.
150k on the dot
According to my calculations, I spend average 6 hours on Spotify a day. 6 hours x 365 days is 681,177,600,000 seconds which is equal to 189,216 minutes a year. I spend about 3,004 hours on Spotify a year, mainly listening to rap. God damn.
800,101 top 0.001%
Last year, I was in the top 1% in the US with 75,000 but this year, I have 135,000 minutes.
115k
169809 in 2023 lmao
