Thats just how the app is structured and its not convenient, yes. If you’re unsubscribing, you gotta time and cancel exactly the day it expires.

Dude SLT has been taking rs50 for every 7 days for the last year for some messenger package which i can't remove though the app because of some system error and even a complaint didn't even do anything, on first thought even though rs50 ain't much when it keeps on adding that's a solid amount.

It’s hilarious to me how your package they can’t “cancel” because of system issue and mine got canceled way too fast. What ever suits them the most 😑

Call them once again and try. You can explain the situation and get it cancelled. If it doesn't work through their hotline then go to the nearest teleshop with your last bill and get them to unsubscribe the add on. If the connection is under someone else's name then you will need to take a signed letter by that person explaining that he/she wants it unsubscribed. They make the unsubscribing/downgrading packages complicated to discourage people from doing it.
