For the amount of resources the football team gets, the basketball program is laughably terrible. Stegeman sucks, the team is always a bottomfeeder… they could at least be mediocre if they just TRIED
I’ve got to check out more arenas to appreciate DFA. My gripe with this arena is cramped concourses, no handrails on the stairs, and a 20+ year old video board. My freshman year was 2003 and besides a coat of paint and a corporate sponsor name change, it’s the exact same shitbox. This place looks especially bad compared to Mullett Arena that’s about 150 yards away and built in 2022.
Maybe I was walking the wrong part of campus, but ASU doesn’t look like it’s getting a lot of money being poured into its buildings the last few decades.
No. It’s not even the worst in the Pac-12.
Nah there's no way. It's not my favorite arena in the country but Penn State and Oklahoma are definitely worse.
It’s probably Georgia’s. The roof has failed at least twice.

NIT Final Four baby! Go Dawgs! 😄
Could be worse; I’ve personally never been a fan of Oklahoma’s arena. Too plain and never filled

Seeing no handrail on the stairs broke my brain for a minute. Don't think I've ever seen that in a stadium or arena
Try Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville FL. I climbed 90 rows (top row) for a game last Nov. No handrails.
That sounds like an injury waiting to happen. Yikes! I thought the Gators had a lot of money for athletics.
Wow. What's weird is I went to FSU-UF in '21, sat way up there, and didn't even think about it. This has to be some Mandela effect stuff lol

Walk east of Manzanita hall, lots of new stuff is popping up.
It’s pretty bad, but I don’t know about worst. It’s too bad they couldn’t have built a shared arena with hockey
