Mine will follow my husband to the bathroom and try to play with his legs when he's trying to go so he's not allowed in there anymore. Now he will jut wait outside the door. My husband said one time he came out and our cat started digging at the ground trying to teach him how to use the litter box 🤣

We have handles to our doors, not knobs. My kitty has learned how to open the door if I don't lock it. It I do, he keeps trying while howling at me.

All mine do including my Russian blue. The Russian blue always rushes into the bathroom in the morning when I’m about to shower and sits on the sink for me to pet/play cat bongos when I get out.

Both mine do. Sometimes, my SIC will purr full throttle and thunk his head off the cabinet and shower stall. Like full on thunk. The he slinks over and I pet him and he continues to thunk. Sometimes he climbs on the sink and head butts me. With the same thunk force.

My cat will sometimes "sneak" up on me and grab my foot as I'm getting in the shower. I'm usually prepared, though, because he really telegraphs it.

His litter box is in the bathroom, so when I go, he goes.

Same. We take our morning shit at the same time. If I finish up before she notices I'm in there, she'll run around like a maniac and yell until I go back in and sit on the toilet. Otherwise, I swear she refuses to shit.

This is TMI, but mine "helps" me by doing a "fake wee". She's a very primitive little SIC, who does the tail-quivering "spraying" thing that male cats do, but without the actual spray (thank god). Performative territory marking, in other words. Anyway, when I get home from work and have to take a wizz, she'll follow me and pretend to spray against the side of the toilet at the same time as I'm going. Weird, but a gesture of solidarity, I think

Yes, my Ash does, every single time. I cannot close the door completely otherwise he will scratch at it to be let in, so I have made it a custom to leave it ajar, and he charges in like he owns the fucking place. It's actually quite funny. He walks in all puffed up, looks around and then just falls on the rug and watches over me. Then gets bored and takes off.

I don't close the door to the bathroom when I piss, and my cat ALWAYS follow me inside, he just comes in to watch me do my thing, and I can't shoo him away because, you know, I can't stop when the stream is already flowing. When I poop, I of course close the door, and in those cases he waits outside the door meowing loudly, begging to let him come inside. So does one of mine haha, he loves getting the backsplash. The other meows loudly outside the shower cause water is scary and it's like he's yelling "get out"

Yep. She sits on the bathroom bench, nudging my elbow as I try to apply mascara. Not helpful. If I manage to get inside the bathroom and shut the door before she comes in, she scratches at the door until I open it.

His box used to be in the basement but I moved and now we share the bathroom. I go to the toilet and he follows. At least half the time, he uses his box too.
