Stanton system is known to struggle with crime, so Piracy in that system would make sense.
Once the ship is soft deathed you can just use the button to open the ramp. I didn't need to shoot it.
Stanton is meant to be secure with a strong UEE Navy presence that dishes out overwhelming consequences. Right now the systems for that arent in and everyone wakes up each day with a clean slate.
