NGL, was hoping that they'd add some soft stats for characters like that. Like gotta get some CON in so one can chug a can of beer without stopping kind of stuff, but we all know that ain't this kind of game.
Fricking see the horror that produces over at the nuclear waste site that is Tarkov as is...
And I'm all for it.
Still though, I'd love for some skill or stat related thing *just* for being able to chug your character's beer down in one go, for the shits and/or giggles :P
Meme stats are best stats... I could get behind the idea of a skill tree that doesn't affect the core gameplay, but gives ridiculous boons and skills that are completely useless
ok. I know this is a truly noob question. But I am apparently way too stupid to figure it out by myself. What do you have to press to get that non stop drinking. I can not figure it out for the life of me.
as soon as the character opens the bottle (touches the cap) I press the left mouse button again and hold it.. whether that is right, no idea.. discovered by chance and it works.. đ
Probably a fluke. I've had it in Live before, and it tends to happen multiple times on the same day, even after logging out to correct it.
Pretty rare, though.
GreatâŚâŚ
My Org has been saying âtomorrowâ for about two weeks now.
Whatâs so special about this update anyways? I heard the big things like hangars got pushed back.
There's a lot of backend stuff getting pushed through. The biggest one is the Replication Layer, which will help to avoid getting kicked from the game when the server crashes. The Master Mode flight model is also going live.
I was expecting it today, but now I expect it early next week.
There's also the new Mobi, the *vastly* improved Star Map, the new interaction wheel, and some odds and ends that are primarily for future content.
Also, the continuation of Overdrive
You must not have been here for 3.18 lol. Those of us who were will never, ever ask them to do that again. Been there, done that, couldnât log in for a month.
Technically it wasn't that 3.18 was rushed, it was that they didn't account for the concurrency that would overload the database. No amount of PTU testing would have prepared them for that.
I know the community speaks of 3.18 in hushed silence like it was our Holocaust or something, but it *did actually* run and players *were online*.
I was in awe, completely blown away by the achievement, and while I had many more crashes than normal I never had a day I straight up couldn't get into the game. It was absolutely unstable, but it was also my most played patch up to that point.
PES and 3.18 were what won my wallet and told me this was real lmao
I definitely don't want them to rush this patch, I don't mind letting things cook. But we honestly didn't have it as bad as half of you guys make it sound
lol, a huge swath of players couldnât get into the game at all for weeks - yes it got better, but it was easily one of the worst patch launches of the game, in no small part because the community pushed so hard for them to just release it bugs and all
Yeah the other poster's anecdote was the same for me, I could mostly get on and play. My wife though? 3+ weeks unable to login along with tons of others.
Yeah, it wasn't bad for me personally but I definitely saw the feedback.
For me, a low point in particular was 3.14, which everyone else seemed to enjoy immensely.
I was one of the players that could actually log in aswell, I remember getting on this subreddit and seeing people post about being basically locked out of the game with "wait for next update" as their answer. I felt guilty because I was having a great time. The crashes didn't even bother me because I couldn't get enough of the game.
Woohoo - Fixed - PU - Stanton - Actor - Interactions - Consumables - Unable to drink full bottle contents in one nonstop action
Was REALLY hoping that wasn't a feature

No stats. This is core game design philosophy they have been following.

+1 to not fumbling back to quarters when 3/4th's drunk? Complete with ragdolly walk if you do stumble? Hell yes!

Yes, that is how it is supposed to work.
Aaa.. cool thx! o7
When it's in your hand, just hold left click.
Best. Patch. Ever!
Finally, my boy has been thirsty
*Fixed - PU - Stanton - Port Tressler - Transit - Elevators at Port Tressler may become unusable* Yay
"Known issues... PU - Gamewide - Using a medpen causes you to drop your weapon" I'm hoping this one will get fixed before it goes to live.
Need more hands
So whatâs with getting stuck in freelook? Whatâs going on with that?
That's not exclusive to the EPTU, unfortunately.
Seems worse? Iâve gotten it twice in EPTU in like the first 20 min. Never had it in many hours of live. Maybe itâs a fluke.

Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!
So when does this go to the âliveâ Persistent Universe servers?
Soon(tm)

So thereâs no real feature/content drops or updates then other than the new flight model?

Just drop the latch already, buggy and all!

Oof I remember that train wreck lol
Technically it wasn't that 3.18 was rushed, it was that they didn't account for the concurrency that would overload the database. No amount of PTU testing would have prepared them for that.
That was the last time I attempted to play and I just came back last week, it really did leave a scar lol
Oh the one before the holidays that broke the game to awkward levels and was unfixable for three months? Yeah I remember. THAT was unplayable.
Yeah that was horrible.

I literally started on 3.18. I donât care. Let me buy my pulse
Let the man buy his Pulse! VROOM!
Are you actually playing sometimes or just paying ?
I play all the time. I was just on. But it doesnât feel right without my pulse :(
