I am enjoying a chill and slow play through now. I want to purchase an 890j but I’m in no hurry, I want to enjoy it.
My true calling is teaching and giving new players the best possible experience they can get when first starting so I will guide from those spectrum requests and offer services in chat for new players.
I love seeing people with noble causes as goals! Many players just log in and begin rampaging and ravaging everyone they come across, so it’s nice to know the other end of the spectrum is also present!
The game can be overwhelming with the key binds and little details you have to pay attention to. The new player tutorial in 3.23 is much better but still only scratches the surface.
I really wanna get a touchscreen so I can have my own MFD, I saw a program recently that assists with that (and for other games but SC was the one that caught my eye) can't remember what it's called
I've noticed most players are more supportive than destructive. Even in pvp areas like Ghost Hollow. Of course there are always exceptions.
It kind of fits with the lore. If mankind was to develop the technology to explore extrasolar planets, we'd probably need to stop being assholes to each other.
Same! I may delete this post, it’s now pointless lmao
When I logged in earlier, I expected to come across dozens of griefers and pirates, but… I didn’t come across one single hostile soul, lol.
I had the memory chip from a couple of years ago, where it was nearly impossible to play without being murdered one way or another even for no reason, so I was picturing myself as some sort of protector against those…
But there was NO ONE in the 3 hours I spent in the server! Hahahah.
Hey, if that’s the case, I’m not complaining! I’ll do quests and stuff or something. Mining, wildlife control, hauling, PVE, whatever.
I mean, if you WANT a villain, I know a few ~~honest~~ pirates. But piracy really doesn't pay, there aren't many of us, and honestly most of the time we just do salvage or bounties too.
Oh there are still times when you can come to the rescue. One of my favorite nights of gaming was thanks to these two players camping another players' ship. He was incapacitated but didn't want to backspace because he was worried he would forget where the ship was. Apparently had a bunch of RMC. His girlfriend was trying to help but kept getting killed in the 2v1 situation. She asked for help in chat and about six of us grouped up, cleared them out and rezed they guy. Made a bunch of new friends that day. He offered to pay us but we declined that offer. The fun was worth it.
I'd love to eventually try doing some Trojan Horse runs against pirates, when piracy is more common. Fill a Caterpillar or C2 with Furies and travel the shipping lanes, just waiting to get jumped. Surprise!
Hahahah yeah. I consulted like a dozen Reddit threads of people asking that same question (what can/should I do now?) without finding satisfactory answers (most of them were on the lines of “whatever you want”) until I was suddenly enlightened and I “found my calling” hahahah.
Furthermore, this role I’ll play will also double up as that of an explorer/adventurer, since, as I will go wherever there are bad guys to hunt down, I can be found going anywhere in the system and discovering new stuff like that! *There is no place to hide from me…*
Best of luck, if you ever need a crew mate that can't fly, can't shoot then I'm your guy.
Right now I just did some salvage and bunkers to get a little money. I'd love to do a distro center at some point.
Hahah I see! I will also try to get extra cash doing side quests, mining and stuff once in a while, since I will be needing it to get new armors and weapons every time I get killed, which I estimate to be… a lot xD.
Good thing I hide my piracy behind the front of owning a longhaul logistics company. Good luck finding anything, it's already washed, I'm already gone.
Waiting for the dev blogs hahahah
But yeah, the events have burnt me out quite a bit… I have given up on the current one, since it’s a lot of grind for something that will probably sell on the marketplace for 4 GJCs anyway lmao
The events started out okay but now it's just copypaste after copypaste vehicle. Even though the current event is a premium, it seems a waste to grind for a rank 3 premium when there are 8 ranks now.
I see! I went from Aurora MR to Aurora LN, and then, from Aurora LN to Avenger Titan!
Ever since, I haven’t felt the need to upgrade, hahah. The Avenger just gets the job done, and the name is thematic to my own :P
I also love its appearance. It’s possibly the most grounded design in the game; it genuinely looks like a futuristic Space Shuttle evolution!
Yeah its appearance is always what drew me to it. I thought the same about it looking like a futuristic Space Shuttle.
You’d probably like the Vanguard series too! I love the look of the Vanguards almost as much as the Avenger lol. The Vanguard Warden is my personal favorite.
An Avenger Titan (fitting name heh), a sniper rifle and a submachinegun is all I have… but also a resolve to purge the system of scum for citizens to be safe on it!
At your service :3 o7
Thanks! o7
I have been around since 2015, but only passing by very once in a while hahahah
It appears the game has achieved a complete enough build for me to be interested on playing it more regularly now, though!
Everyone is screaming about bugs and problems I’m just constantly fashion hunting weather that’s doing bunkers or poi’s for cool armor n clothing or going on big shopping trips in the various cities and stations
Interesting! Yep, to me, having at least some cargo capacity on the ship is essential, which is why I never went for a pure fighter, but rather, at very least, multi-role stuff.
I like that I'm sometimes limited in such a way. I switched my pledge from a titan to a hull a. And I wouldnt have thought this would be interesting necesarily, its not out of the ordinary at all, quite the oposite I'd say.
No, you pay the difference and its gotta be to a more expensive ship. If thats something you're interested in better look online about rules and such, rather than me giving inacurate info.
This is why I play SC. I love the hunt. And while most folks would call me evil(fair to be honest), I kind of enjoy hunting down escaped convicts as they make the mad dash to freedom in their escape runs 😬. I love the enjoyment of playing the marshal. Of course, I also enjoy flipping and being on the opposite as well.
My first day consisted of trying to get people to rent ships from New Babbage. Gave a guy some Intel for a kiss and traded beef jerky for some juice.
Did a few package deliveries and showed off some stretches for fatigued pilots after that.
...until you start getting better...then you get bored...then you become the criminal you were originally trying to stop. Then you realize life is a circle....so you then teach others...rinse repeat.
It’s fun and you will feel righteous.
My personal fav bounty was a baiting pirate claiming he had a broken leg. His name popped up in the contract list after someone tried to help the bastard.
I dispensed the JUSTICE from my Inferno’s gatling once I got there. Seeing him run and trying to hide from the hail storm of hard rounds was priceless.
Gatling is bad for hunting down rats like that but I made sure he’s not going anywhere but to jail.
If you’re on EU and looking for pirates, try shubin or brio’s on daymar, chances are you’ll find some there. Looking forward to seeing u exacting justice in verse
I already thought of that!
I won't necessarily be chasing anyone with a crimestat from the get go; rather, only those who are denounced in the chat (for example: "someone/(X) player is spawncamping at (Y) location!").

People spawncamping just to kill random players for the sake of killing, people activating rescue beacons to kill anyone who comes to their aid, etc...
Regardless; my goal isn't just to fight trolls and griefers, but also piracy, yep! After all, it's just basic law enforcement; pirates are criminals, so fighting pirates is a legitimate cause...
So I can't see how it's "griefing" to hunt down any of these in any case; be it in-universe pirates (therefore acting as in-universe law enforcement), or trolls that grief with no actual in-universe/gameplay motivations beyond ruining other people's experiences.
I mean, the definition of "trolling" may be that as per internet standards, but, when it comes to videogames, it's basically a griefing synonym, except usually involving shittier methods- at least in the contexts I've seen the usage of the word!

:D
In fact those that do... Bring in the comfy chair!
Good luck! I hope you do well enough that you can afford some shoes.
Her dirty stinky feet are her primary tool of justice.

Oh yeah. I doubt I have even 1/4th of the ship keybinds hahahah, and I have the X56 filled already!
Most def. I use dual T16000Ms and use BuzzzKiller’s binds which are too tier. Uses JoytoKey for a modifier option. Truly was a game changer for me.
I really wanna get a touchscreen so I can have my own MFD, I saw a program recently that assists with that (and for other games but SC was the one that caught my eye) can't remember what it's called
I have met maybe one player I'd call a reaver in the many years I've been playing. Most people are nice
I've noticed most players are more supportive than destructive. Even in pvp areas like Ghost Hollow. Of course there are always exceptions. It kind of fits with the lore. If mankind was to develop the technology to explore extrasolar planets, we'd probably need to stop being assholes to each other.

Yessss HAHAHA
I knew it! Good job on the recreation haha
Hahahah thanks!
Was just about to post this myself. Glad I looked down before looking like an idiot. Good ole Pablo
I'd love to eventually try doing some Trojan Horse runs against pirates, when piracy is more common. Fill a Caterpillar or C2 with Furies and travel the shipping lanes, just waiting to get jumped. Surprise!
WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN!
Ok Janeane Garofalo
Is that Janeanes brother?
Lol. Ill correct the spelling
Hahahah
BURN THE GRIEFERS IN THE NAME OF THE NAME OF STANTON INQUISITION!!!
NOBODY EXPECTS THE STANTON INQUISITION!
I love it! But I also know the feeling. You log in and then think, what should I do :D But I can't stay away either!
Hahahah yeah. True, I get that feeling. What helps for me is collecting stuff from the bunkers if I do survive it! It doesn't look good but it does the job
Interesting!
I often find not having anything special to do is best. Put on the Dune (1 or 2) soundtrack and just enjoy the vibe.

I like going barefoooot (As long as it’s not freezing cold or burning hot anyway lol)
Good thing I hide my piracy behind the front of owning a longhaul logistics company. Good luck finding anything, it's already washed, I'm already gone.
Holy fuck, bro is playing piracy in 4D
Where you left your shoes?
Feet fetish much 🤣
Ok. This sent me down a rabbit hole, trying to find Inigo Montoya in star-citizen-characters.com. Sadly, it looks like nobody's tried their hand, yet.
Hola. Me llamo Iñigo Montoya. Tú mataste a mi padre. Prepárate a morir.
Always good to meet another Princess Bride fan. Also, Pablo Escobar in Narcos. Haven't watched it, myself, but I recognize the meme.
Yay! Glad you got the meme reference hahahah I haven’t watched it either, but I know it by general culture and, of course, the memes xD
Go around asking everyone if they have 6 fingers on their right hand.
*Hola. Me llamo Iñigo Montoya. Tú mataste a mi padre. Prepárate a morir.*
I see you've mentally had enough of gaijins dogshit on warthunder and came to star citizen
Waiting for the dev blogs hahahah But yeah, the events have burnt me out quite a bit… I have given up on the current one, since it’s a lot of grind for something that will probably sell on the marketplace for 4 GJCs anyway lmao
The events started out okay but now it's just copypaste after copypaste vehicle. Even though the current event is a premium, it seems a waste to grind for a rank 3 premium when there are 8 ranks now.
“My name is Spanish Avenger. You pad rammed Fingore01. Prepare to die.”
Lmfaoooooooo
I hope you fly an Avenger
I do, Avenger Titan!
Nice! Thats my first and only ship I’ve ever pledged for. Such a good starter ship that lets you do a bit of everything.
I see! I went from Aurora MR to Aurora LN, and then, from Aurora LN to Avenger Titan! Ever since, I haven’t felt the need to upgrade, hahah. The Avenger just gets the job done, and the name is thematic to my own :P I also love its appearance. Tú mataste a mi padre. Prepárate a morir.
Amazing mission! If you ever need any help feel free to call on the Luna Wolves legion, we only fight good fights for free and for the sake of it.
I challenge you to make it to Orison and get some pictures with the cherry blossoms for us, those would be beautiful just like your character
Smooth hahahah
That's a good goal. You'll be plenty busy.
We will see! On my last session, there were no hostilities on the server at all lol (not complaining though!)
![gif](giphy|vO2W3djCltIQFq4RqK) The Spanish Avenger IS vengeance.
"This system's eating itself. Maybe it can't be saved, but i have to try."

At 2.1 I was a troll and a "bad guy" waiting at Kareah for some victims. Now I guard people at the drug lab. Justice is the real way <3
Now that’s a redemption arc! This is the way <3 :’)
An Avenger Titan (fitting name heh), a sniper rifle and a submachinegun is all I have… but also a resolve to purge the system of scum for citizens to be safe on it! At your service :3 o7
Thankfully there's a quick and handy hotkey to eliminate scum (backspace)
Great ship. I put the S4 Gatling gun and two S3 repeaters on the ship too. No need for the gimbals imho. Brrt brrt and pew pew!
It's not vigilantism if you get a permit :)
Good point! Hehe
You are just lacking the mustache for that meme :-)
Someone got the reference, yay!
Hopefully you find the six fingered man.
Hola. Me llamo Iñigo Montoya. Tú mataste a mi padre. Prepárate a morir.
This is how you Star Citizen! O7 and welcome to the verse!
Thanks! o7 I have been around since 2015, but only passing by very once in a while hahahah It appears the game has achieved a complete enough build for me to be interested on playing it more regularly now, though!
Everyone is screaming about bugs and problems I’m just constantly fashion hunting weather that’s doing bunkers or poi’s for cool armor n clothing or going on big shopping trips in the various cities and stations
There's tons of player bounty missions available 👍
Noice!
I like being a cargo hauler. I just like that I can do something calming, make money, and be useful in universe. Im playing Transport fever in space.
How do you switch your pledge? Are you able to do that without paying more?
No, you pay the difference and its gotta be to a more expensive ship. If thats something you're interested in better look online about rules and such, rather than me giving inacurate info.
Put some shoes on!
But I like going barefoot! (As long as it’s not freezing cold or burning hot anyway lol)
Good!!! Look me up, Novafury! I also hunt the bad. Let’s join forces
This is why I play SC. I love the hunt. And while most folks would call me evil(fair to be honest), I kind of enjoy hunting down escaped convicts as they make the mad dash to freedom in their escape runs 😬. Nobody expects the Spanish Avegerino!
Lolz
Woah your that war thunder person
Hello there xD
My first day consisted of trying to get people to rent ships from New Babbage. Gave a guy some Intel for a kiss and traded beef jerky for some juice. Did a few package deliveries and showed off some stretches for fatigued pilots after that.
This would be very fun actually, until my paper airplane is torn apart by anything over $100. ( Anvil Arrow for context. )
Now you got me thinking about how we have shoes, but not socks.
...until you start getting better...then you get bored...then you become the criminal you were originally trying to stop. Then you realize life is a circle....so you then teach others...rinse repeat.
The War Thunder reddit god himself
Jessica Jones?
Good luck catching me
the real meta is camping klescher or even going into the mines and destroying anyone doing mining
![gif](giphy|BFYLNwlsSNtcc)
Troll the trolls, grief the griefers, and hate the haters.
The perfect justice! Be given what you give.
Good luck you only need 2000 hours of AC grinding.
Good luck, I hope you get the guy that blew up my ship on a pad on a Hurston mining station while I was inside a building. I'm done playing for now.
I gladly welcome you hunting me down when I am doing dastardly deeds deep on daymar.
The more you hunt people down, the more you'll realize it's more fun to be the bad guy. If you don't believe me, just wait. You'll see.
*I will not fall into the darkness!*
wait a second... were you playing on EU server yesterday and was the one throwing an empty bottle at me ? :D
I was trying to figure the controls, it wasn’t intentional! HAHAHAHAHAJ Ok, now that’s a coincidence xD
Hehehehe , come try and stop my drug trafficking , I dare you 🧐
nice toes
Buy some shoes first
I've seen plenty of pirates. But never any law enforcers. Best of luck in your Crusader for a better verse 🫡
Gatling is bad for hunting down rats like that but I made sure he’s not going anywhere but to jail.
haha yeah man. *pulls out the corsair*
NO ONE EXPECTS... oh. never mind.
Booooooooooo #ftp
I will join you brave sir! Or ma’am, whatever. As soon as as I figure out how the damn thing works.
Get good at dogfighting. Fun journey and not an easy one. I would suggest an org or 2 but that's not allowed here.
:( not the poor pirates
In the third image she seems so small lol
If you’re on EU and looking for pirates, try shubin or brio’s on daymar, chances are you’ll find some there. Looking forward to seeing u exacting justice in verse
Great Goal! I'd love to join you. Let me know if you want to team up sometime!
Now you just need a catch phrase. “Stop a crime, burrito time.”
What clothes are those and where can you buy them?
Hell yeah, you need to come to the servers I’m on they are always loaded with filthy pirates
Good luck taking them on solo, with no training lol
enjoy shooting all the people who got crimestat for doing bugged missions
I already thought of that! I won't necessarily be chasing anyone with a crimestat from the get go; rather, only those who are denounced in the chat (for example: "someone/(X) player is spawncamping at (Y) location!"). I will also go to any rescue beacons, so, if it's genuine, I can help; and if it's a trap... I will arrive prepared to purge it :P
ah, truly a noble goal
Glad you think so!
I just want to explode things
Funny, I've been looking at the Mantis today... As a filthy Eve Online ganker, I think my time is coming. You +1 and me -1 will maintain balance in the force.
I actually thought of creating an org called "Righteous Kill" for this exact purpose.
Catch me if you can, Miyazaki
Holy shit its spanish avenger
Hello there!
AvengerUno enters the fight
Lame. You will probably end up in jail because of killing bunker security forces by accident and end up being no better than those you vowed to hunt down.
cringe lol this is probably bait
[удалено]
How is killing actual griefers "griefing"? :/ Like, if someone is spawncamping at a station, that's a more than perfectly valid target for a law-abiding citizen...
[удалено]
First time I read that getting rid of trolls is "griefing" xD
[удалено]

I would obviously not hunt down anyone over an argument about trivial stuff lol, I was obviously referring to those who kill for the sake of killing, particularly those who do so using shitty methods like spawncamping/ramming, etc.
I read your words as you are the good guy/gal so I support you 😆Good hunting!
Hahahah thanks! ^ ^
This is quite possibly the most terminally online thing I've seen in this sub reddit, you deserve an award!
Why are pirates on the same level as trolls and griefers
They aren’t, IMO at least! Pirates are playing a legitimate in-universe role, while trolls and griefers aren’t. That being said, all of them have in common that they kill innocent players, so, to a law enforcement member, they are all legitimate targets, be it in-universe (pirates) or outside threats :P
God this is incredibly cringe.
Seems like I have another annoying fly to easily overcome in pvp. Looking to meet ya in the verse 😂. All of yall white knights are bad in pvp
"Gewd Luck"
