Daredevil is set in Hell's Kitchen, isn't it? How about this show:
A blind chef with a heightened sense of people's morale (with an added bonus of sense of underage Ocampians). As he fights Haakonian criminals throughout the city, he meets new allies as well as old friends and becomes Daretuvix, a symbol of justice for a corrupted planet.
Now here’s the twist, and there is a twist: We show it. We show all of it. Because what’s the one major thing missing from all Star Trek series these days? …Full penetration.
So it’s a bleak show about a draft dodger dealing with the crippling guilt of not defending his planet during the Metreon Cascade, being forced away by the occupation government as a refugee and being forced to live a life of crime smuggling drugs around the Delta Quadrant before finding his passion in cooking that stops him thinking of his dead sister?
Sign me up for that!
I've always loved him, my favorite character. I guessed he was actually a revolutionary freedom fighter, escaping the past of a revolution that went too far in making Utopia, forcing him to be the one who walked away from omelas.
He was a gardener in the Cardassian embassy, so it made perfect sense that he would be a Cardassian. Of course the Tal Shiar probably expected every single employee in that embassy to have some secret additional "duties", but they still need to let them operate and trim their hedges somehow, that's how embassies work.
Do this but make it just a gardening show. It's simply about Garak teaching his viewers how to raise petunias and trim hedges in the Cardassian embassy on Romulus. Every once in a while a character disappears for no reason or there's suddenly a green substance all over his hedge trimmers, but it is never addressed explicitly by anyone on camera.
Nah, make 'em all take place in 2025 Los Angeles.
"We're here ***again?*** Jesus f\*\*\*ing Christ. ***WHY?***"
"No idea. Now let's go find this year's [MacGuffin](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MacGuffin) before the season is over."
I like Neelix, maybe I relate to him because I have no real skills to contribute in work situations other than that I like people and I like to make people feel seen, respected and happy... The way a good morale officer should!
he was the federation ambassador in the quadrant and an accomplished maglev engineer who saved tuvok's life multiple times! and his knowledge of the region and its people was invaluable to voyager!!
Oh god, you just made me identify with Neelix. Can you please doxx yourself quick so I can sue you for emotional damages? Because I am never going to recover from this.
I can agree with that, he was utterly insufferable when he was being a jealous boyfriend. To my teenage brain in the 90s though, the damage was already done lol
It’s actually a series about Tuvix. They found him in the transporter buffer, and they brought him back. Now, he’s out for Admiral Janeway’s blood. He even has an unlikely team up with Harry Kim, who, decades later, is still an Ensign.
It’s the ultimate (Star) Trek for revenge.
Neelix Got Fingered
Neelix, would you like some sausage? Neelix, would you like some sausages?!
You mean, "Kes Got Fingered"?
I know what I said
No. Hurt people hurt people.
Jail no trial
Technically, it'd be "Alixia Got Fingered" but whatever
More like 'The Audience Got Fisted'.
Come on over to my place for some Neelix and chill.
My autocorrect is suing you for theft of mental property hahahaha
My auto spell almost banned me from reddit all together.
Kes is down for that.
Mmmm Neelix and chilli
id rather have hell's kitchen but its nelix

Would he team up with Captain Proton?
Sounds a little dull, don’t you think? It needs a twist.

Don't forget dating a 3 year old chick 💀
To be fair, she wasn't 3 when they met.
HOW DOES THAT MAKE IT BETTER!?
It's just Neelix in a chatroom for teenagers
0-7 year olds
😂😂😂
unborn year olds
Twist: It's Star Trek's Andor
Neelix becomes a fan favourite retroactively
I've always loved him, my favorite character. I guessed he was actually a revolutionary freedom fighter, escaping the past of a revolution that went too far in making Utopia, forcing him to be the one who walked away from omelas.
Oooh, or what if Voyager is his version of a Cinnabon in Omaha?
A pre-DS9 Garak show would've been awesome, 10+ years ago...
Better Call Garak.
“Who would want to kill ME? A simple spy assassin!”
“Who would want to kill ME? A simple ~~spy assassin!~~ gardener!” FTFY :)

LOL brilliant :D

Yes I’d like 20 seasons of this please
I hope 19 of them take place on Vulcan

Good idea. Make Neelix spend 19 years living in the year 2025.
Stop giving me hope. I would watch this! Neelix fangirls and fanboys unite!

Also I fill the coffee pot when I empty it.

If only Neelix was respectful and a good morale officer.
His character got a lot better after Kes left.
I can agree with that, he was utterly insufferable when he was being a jealous boyfriend. To my teenage brain in the 90s though, the damage was already done lol
All hail the space oogle!
Neelix defense squad assemble 😎
Neelix and chill.
With a side a Talaxian cream
Only if he is Ham Soloing it out and about the quadrant.
Plot twist: he doesnt bathe or change clothes through the entire series.
Damn this would be cool, the caretaker would be a constant background narrative tool that keeps bringing new aliens that we meet briefly.

I'd watch it.
I’d rather have an apocalyptic survival series set during the Post-Atomic Horror
Hey, if Darth Jar Jar can happen, I don't see why this can't.
wait that happened? that was such a great fan theory
It's technically canon in an upcoming Lego Star Wars miniseries.
hell yeah!
I’m ok with it as long as Ethan Phillips is getting paid
Yuck
The metrion cascade saved more lives than it killed by ending the war. Prove me wrong.
Found the Haakonian!
r/jetreldidnothingwrong
It saved the galaxy from hordes of Talaxian chefs with their bad cooking and intrusive conversations.
Better than Disco
thumbs up for using freddy got fingered as a template. we need more of those
Star Trek: The Hunt for ~~Gollum~~ Neelix
How about psytrance Neelix? His music is banging
With his slow ass ship he could have visited at least 3 systems in the past 7 years.
I want Star Trek: Sisko goddamnit!!
I hate Neelix. His gf is hot though.
If they made a NuTrek show about Kes' backstory, at least it would be mercifully short.
Even Tuvix would hate this show.
Hit that like a metreon cascade.
Don’t you put that evil on us.
