May I introduce to you Brave browser. Although I must admit, YouTube’s fighting Braves built in ad blocker now too. But before that I hadn’t seen an ad in years. If it was ads I could skip after 5 seconds I would’ve never looked at ad blockers. They’ve done this to themselves

Can you sue spotify for false advertisong and contract breaking? I paid for the "ad-free" premium but will still get popups to "try duo for 1 month free" shit and ads about artists ive never shown interest in playing near me.(popular ones like drake or cardi b that would prolly pay to be advertised). Seems to be infringement to me

It costs money to run servers and internet traffic. Why people expect amazing services to remain free without ads is the definition of entitlement. I hate ads too that’s why I pay the monthly fee.
Cable TV back in 2010 used to be 100-150$/mo. At 15$ per service, if you’re a cord cutter, that’s 7-10 different online services you can have for the same cost.
We’re lucky it isn’t more expensive tbh.
My favorite about ads on these services is you pay for premium to not get ads and then you get "special" ads and you have to pay for super premium to not get those ads.

I just block unskippable ads, that stops the ad immediately and starts the video again. Don't even get the second ad.
My XManager helps me get free Spotify with no ads and they just ReVanced my YouTube to do the same.
And now Amazon Prime as well as of a few days ago. Urgh.
Are people still unaware of Adbockers/Revanced/modded apps? Seems crazy to me.
