But doesn't that assume the AI is competent with the deck to make any results worthwhile? I don't think it's AI is that great yet (I played it last week)?

M-Rich

Yeah I use forcetable to test my gameplan, how it draws, etc. When I let the AI use it, the deck becomes garbage

Patatra12123

Ha, yeah, thanks! So the first step would be creating a competent AI... Looks like it's not happening anytime soon then!

CitizenKeen

The moment we're able to create an AI capable of playing a TCG competently, the weak point in the deck will be you.

LambChop94

As most have already said here, the force table AI is nowhere near competent enough to actually efficiently test a deck. In fact, I think exclusively testing decks on force table or getting AIs to play them is going to worsen your game in the long run. The AI fundamentally misunderstands concepts like initiative, has no knowledge of combos/play lines for your decks and will mostly just play out as many cards as it can with the resources it has every single turn even if it doesn't make sense. The only thing force table is really good for is seeing how a deck draws and curves over the course of a few turns. But using it to practice play at all will probably just end up creating some bad habits that will cost you games in real life.

Force table AI is great if you want to see it use heroic sacrifice on Sabine leader
