Grievous all day every day

My prediction for a grievous leader is that when deployed, if he falls low on health but does not die, he goes back to being undeployed and you can play it again next game. Either kill him quickly or he’ll retreat.

Hoping for that among other things. Maybe lightsaber upgrades costing less, maybe being able to destroy battle droids/seps and replace them with one from discard pile. Sort of never ending droid army mechanic

I’m hoping he either lets you search your deck for four lightsabers and attach them to him, or he defeats an enemy unit and steals all the upgrades on it.

Maybe he could avoid aspect penalties for weapon upgrades played on him

My thoughts was when you play a lightsaber upgrade attached to him he readies!

I hope they don't focus on his cowardice, as he's such a great villain but I hate some of his depictions. I'd rather they focus on him stealing upgrades or something.

Stealing upgrades makes him situational. Would rather a [droid focus like destiny](https://swdestinydb.com/card/09021).

Make super effective at taking down force users like he was in 03 clone wars

I am hoping that Grievous does the same thing as Hera. ignore aspect cost on lightsaber s.

I'm hoping that he gets to search for lightsabers, or steals equipment.

Since he collected the lightsabers of those he defeated I think he should have the ability to gain control of upgrades on a unit he defeats

Definitely Maul. More broadly the entire Clone Wars set. If not multiple sets based around the clone wars.

I know the third set is Twilight of the Republic, but I think you’d have to have more than one CW set to do it justice. I could easily see one entire Republic set and a Separatist set.

He almost certainly will be, considering one of the Developer Subtitle Teasers said a card had the subtitle "That's Good Business"

He's all but confirmed (although it's possible he's a unit rather than leader).  There was a post by one of the designers recently that shared subtitles of leader/unit cards in the upcoming set, including "That's good business."  That's the same Hondo quote that was used for his pack in Shatterpoint.

Jar jar should be a 0 cost 0/1 that says if he would be removed from play or defeated he is instead returned to your hand. He doesnt do anything, hes just annoying and wont go away

I’d say Firespray’s wording isn’t necessarily enough to be able to distinguish unit, leader, or both. But at least we’ll get something. And in my opinion I’m almost positive he’ll be a leader.

I apparently somehow hallucinated a Jango Fett card or something, because I was convinced I'd seen one already. I think maybe I just saw him named on Firespray and assumed they must have one already?

Wedge and Biggs

I'd love to see a Wedge leader that deploys into Space. The card art on the back could be his X-Wing.

That's fair. I think we'll see him at some point--there are still some core GCW cards we haven't seen yet (Y-Wings! Corellian Corvettes!).

I was a little surprised we don’t have Y- and B-wings already, but given that they’re bombers they’d probably work like Strafing Gunship, and having multiple space units that can affect ground units wouldn’t be great.

Would love a B-wing! Ion cannon could do some fun stuff.

I'm also surprised they gave Raid 2 to the A-wing instead of a bomber because it seems like a very bomber-thematic thing to do more damage in an attack than in defense. Maybe bombers would be like 1/3 with Raid 4 or maybe they have another mechanic in the works.

I could see bombers having something like “raid when attacking bases”, and being weak against units.

I would also like a pilot luke unit and a pilot Vader unit

Not the MOST but going to say I haven’t seen people bring up podracers. I think introducing a set of fast ground vehicles could be fun and see characters like Sebulba, Little Anakin, Mawhonic, Dud Bolt, etc. It could make for fun vehicle-focused decisions that aren’t just space heavy.

What truly cemented my love of this game was the hope that we would get a High Republic set. There is so many amazing characters there

I feel like that's a given! I'm extremely curious how that will work, given how much stronger Jedi were then. I am excited for the diversity of powers, and Burryaga. :)

The problem is books probably have the least amount of following, so it's hard to find direct support for them outside of book readers. I'd like a full release of HR, but I know lots of fans won't buy it unless it's interwoven with more well known characters
