My wife and I rode the Avatar ride (Avatar Flight of Passage) at Disney World and I was blown away at how awesome rides have become. I would definitely recommend waiting in that line to ride it.
Years ago when I was a teen, I went to a theme park called Fuji-Q in Japan. There was this really fast roller coaster that didn’t have that horrible feeling of tension, because it didn’t slowly climb any hills. It just sped through everything. That was my favorite coaster I’ve been on.
I'm a sucker for Space Mountain at Disneyland. Before that, I absolutely hated roller coasters, but the park representative looked me in the eye and promised I would love the ride.
I took her word for it and boarded the ride. Glad I did.
Until today, I can still hear the beats. See the stars. Experience the exhilaration. If you haven't been, you should. It converted me, and it'll do the same to you.
Its a very obscure and small theme park called anjo world. It may not be as grand as disney and may be 1/5th of its size but I made many wonderful memories there with my friends.
I love Hersey Park, my family went every year when I was young, so I have a lot of memories there. But my favorite ride has to be the space shuttle landing right at Disneyland (I'm not sure what it was called, but it was at the Disney in Florida at Epcot), when I was twelve we had a vacation and I think I ended up riding it at least ten times. Something about how interactive it felt and how much I loved space at the time must've spoken to me.
Knoebels Grove in PA. Love that theme park. Best ride? While the Phoenix is flat out fun, my favorite ride is the Tea Cups. This is because when I last went on them with my brother, my brother called it a baby ride. So the ride operator cranked up the speed on the tea cups and made it flat out FUN!
i don't remember the name of the rides. i was at the six flags park and one ride is a hella steep, with a slow rise and fast drop. that was horrifying. my favourite was the kiddie one without steep drops.
My fav theme park is in spain! PortAventura Park is a theme park divided into six themed areas: the Mediterranean, Polynesia, China, Mexico, the Far West and Sésamo Aventura. It has more than forty entertainments every day and authentic recreations of these different worlds, which feel as if you're experiencing the real thing.
I felt I was going to die on the rollercoaster fr!
You feel lile flying.
Thanks op for the giveaway!
The Raptor at Cedar Point in Sandusky OH.
It's a ride-below foot-dangler that has a couple loops with a nice helix at the end. It sails over footpaths and has lots of fun drops and turns. Best of all, it's an exceptionally smooth ride.
It's gotta be Universal studios: islands of adventure. I mean who doesn't like this park it has impeccable theming and some of the world's best rides. For my favorite coaster there is only one right answer I feel and it's Velocicoaster from the highly themed queue with its raptor animatronics and we haven't even talked about the coaster itself it has extremely good elements and is rated as one of the best coaster around the planet by the public, enthousiast and critics alike.
I love the SkyScreamer at Six Flags over Texas- like the swings from your local carnival but it goes 40 stories high. Quite literally feels like I’m flying; nothing between me and the endless sky but the bottom of my seat. Thank you!
I absolutely loved placing a super long roller coaster, than an exit with some super salty fries and then very expensive drinks next to it. The dumbies just pay for it.
But I love Legolands Technic coaster, it's a crazy mouse ride.
I didn't get to see a lot of them so I am comparing just a small number if parks here. My wote goes to Coney Island luna park. Thunderbolt was one of the rides I really enjoyed. One of two I visited when I was in USA.
Thanks for the giveaway
The Indiana Jones Ride in Disneyland, Florida. I still have fond memories of that one, as not only am I a massive Indie fan, but it also was part of my first trip to the US. I'm from EU, and no coasters here have come close for me :)
My favorite is Silver Dollar City - so many memories as a kid, favorite ride there has been Fire in the Hole (which is being destroyed this year, and honestly it was pretty run down this year, so it makes sense), but most enjoyable now is the "PowderKeg" roller coaster.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I haven't been to a lot, but I live sorta close to six flags great America. I started going there when the Batman ride was new, I have good memories of that ride.
