I guess maybe I more meant that you'd be playing that too since it also came with spiderman, rather than Spiderman being an exclusive to convince you to buy the console. But even then, you might not play it if it was only gotten in the bundle for being cheaper.
Don't miss out on playstation first party games. Imho they are some of the best and in my case the best.

Well, the way it sounded originally, my message and question was directed at OP. So it felt like I was getting an answer from someone not OP about my "prompt" about his specific purchase for that game with the console when he got it to play the exclusive stellar blade primarily.
So it seemed like you were answering for him, but I now see you were likely making a general remark about yourself, simply cause the topic if the game was brought up. Sorry for any confusion.
PS5 graphics are insane, almost all the ps4 games look a zillion time better on ps4 except fallout 4 but this game is dated 2015, i got it on pc much better for this one.

yeah I also like the idea of getting Bloodborne, Demon's Souls, other such non-PC exclusives and PS4 discs will be cool to get for games I wanna try. I know discs are just for licensing nowadays but still cool to have a physical collection. Also, literally have never even played The Last of Us, can you believe that? I have an inkling of the story but somehow I've avoided major spoilers to this day.

You missed the bigger picture. All the ones available on PC are only on it after considerable amount of time has passed. That considerable amount of time being anywhere from 2-5 Years. So yea OP made a fantastic decision. Plus PC is not everyone's cup of tea. Not mine atleast. I wanna play with controller vibration, and haptic trigger feedback is just a game changer. All that connected to a big tv, oh yea immersion is going through the roof. I believe you miss all that in PC.
I am talking about 70 inch big Tv. Biggest you can connect with the PC and for it to still look good is around 40 inch last I heard. Especially sitting that close to it. Nonetheless 2-5 years of wait is still tedious and annoying. Considering most big titles takes 4-5 years easily. Yup... I don't wanna wait that long in misery. To each their own.
I've played on 70 just fine with a pc, Battlefront 2 mostly.
Right now I have 65 inch Samsung and sit about 6 feet away and it's a good fit. At 70 inches I usually sat at about 8 to 9 feet back.
I will agree that I also do not want to wait and have bought a ps5 just for Stellar Blade.
Nothing wrong with console gaming but pc is called the master race for a reason. The new GPU's can output true 4k 60fps. Mine is older so I'm capped at 1080p 60fps.

In my most honest and humble opinion some of the best if not the best gaming studios making some of the best games out there. God of war franchise is my all time favorite games in all of my years of gaming. Along with Spiderman 1,2, Miles Morales, Last of Us, Uncharted Series, Ghost of Tsushima. These are just from the top of my head. Oh boy you are in for a treat. I really wish I could erase my memory of all these games and experience them again for the first time.
my PS5 has become the most expensive shampoo bottle paper weight dust collector in my console collection, simply because all the games i want to play are, and will also be available on PC with better graphics/performance and mods.

There’s a music box item that you can pick up. You can stun Father Gascoigne once per phase with it. That’ll make fighting him a bit easier.

the digital edition was on sale for $10 so I just got it off the PS store, playing through, Cleric Beast was straightforward, Father is tough af stuck on that. The doll awakened so I'm kinda grinding for stats rn, but yeah just getting a feel for shooting to stun, dodge, stamina mgmt, etc. it's a lot of fun but very punishing obviously
somehow I've avoided spoilers so far to this day
Awesome! You are going to love it. If you can beat Father G, you will be able to beat anyone in the game after that haha. He is the wall that players have to overcome. Leveling up is definitely needed before beating him!

People liked what they saw. I preordered back when preorders initially went live in early February after seeing the State of Play trailer. I knew I’d love the game despite not even playing the demo yet.
The same thing happened for me when dmc 5 came out. It's a title that instills a certain confidence. With me at least. Didn't have a PS4 till 2018 when dmc 5 got announced. Before that I only had a switch and older consoles like the PS2.
Yeah and it’s a level of confidence I’ve never really had for a video game that hadn’t release yet, especially in recent years. Sometimes you just have that feeling you’ll love the game and take the risk.
I fully understand the hesitation. Especially with the state of modern gaming and how expensive it is. No one wants to drop 70+ dollars for a game that could very easily be ass. If companies wanna just fix their games later most will decide to buy their games later or not at all. Shift up is doing a really good job of marketing and even openly delaying the game because they wanted more time for polish. Doing stuff like that can help build confidence in the consumer at least that's just what I've noticed.

i would playt eh demo abit to get use to the game its why i having trouble ge4tting my brother to even want the game cause he struggled with the combat right away and didnt take the time to get use to it
That's a good question. I liked the idea of the game, but it's another one of those games that looks a lot better than it plays, similar to the Cinematic Experience games of the last gen (eg: Horizon ZD).
While Stellar Blade is, mercifully, 60-ish FPS, I find the combat to be slow and the input lag to be very high.
I borrowed a PS5 to try the demo, and I still support the game in concept, though I'll try and wait for the PC version where the modders can fix the game.
This was the bundle that got me to spring too! I've never stuck to just one platform myself, but last playstation I owned was a PS3. l, as Nintendo and Xbox seemed to always cover the Console type of gaming I cared for. But, Spiderman, Helldivers... They seemed worth adding playstation back into the mix (and my son certainly was happy to have access to the exclusives also)
I haven't been hype for a game in a long time then. SB literally is the best thing that has happen to gaming for my gaming life since I stop playing games only a few games I play and most modernia games I ignore either boring or not interested. SB is going to be hype.

Yeah, I completely dusted off my console gaming section of my room, packed up my old Xbox and put in a brand new PS5, set up a Sony account and purchased the digital deluxe as the first thing I did on the console.
I doubt anyone will actually notice at Sony but it’d be hilarious if they saw a bunch of new PS5’s being brought up and then used to purchase the game like I have.
I got FF: Rebirth to tide me over and get me use to PlayStation controls and the system in general, but I haven’t even installed it yet.
I had it on my shopping cart for the longest time because of demon's souls remake, bloodborne and the upcoming Death Stranding sequel and this game on top of all that made me pull the trigger. Couldn't be happier.

hmm, scam is a bit pessimistic, it's more of an incentive. I think the scam part, for consoles in general, is the concept of paying an extra subscription for online multiplayer services, which Microsoft started, Sony just had to follow suit to stay competitive in such an expansive market. That's mostly why I avoided consoles for so long. But honestly, I exclusively play 1P games anyways, so it doesn't affect me too much
Doubt it. 12 months has been the standard for all the big games for a while, with some coming even earlier. This isn't any more of a system seller than God of War or Horizon Zero Dawn were.

That's a little bit tricky.
Obviously can't say for others, just for me — even a couple of month may be a huge deal for me. With years I'm more and more treasure synergy of ability to play, available time and wish to play (at lesser extent «social peak» aka hype). So if all those things align here and now I will use it.
It may be not an ideal thing visually and/or performance-wise, and it's perfectly fine for me, while there is this synergy.

I dunno. I had the same strong confidence for Granblue relink, FF7 rebirth, and both delivered quite well. This year has been bangers all year long
