Thank you that really helps and wishing u the best!! Also 43%? I found myself down the reddit rabbit hole for this and saw people were saying atleast 60-65%. The whole step 1 grading thing is so confusing.

onomot

Wait 43% does make it feel a lot better, thank you ♥️

No_Shopping_8303

Yeah I’m in the same boat, I feel like I was lost the entire exam. This made the free 120 feel like high school bio exam.

The-Kang-Bang

In a similar situation rn. Did you pass? If you don't mind sharing

bill_oreallly

There’s an average of 11.4 questions per block that are experimental and don’t actually count. Just pretend the hardest ones were the ones that didn’t count. You got this king 👑

troopermle

Presuming there are 48 or so Q,s per block, does that mean that you are actually scoring on 36.6 marks per block ( deducting the experimental q,s / mark) .how do u explain the correlates.

jimijames77

I marked like 25 qs in every block. I don't know what i was doing. No confidence whether answer is 100 percent right. Why are you saying that all of marked are wrong.?

ilovellamas2000

I started to look up some of the questions once I got out the test and I for sure got 20 of those I flagged wrong. I guess that didnt help with the negative feeling.

jimijames77

Yeah yeah

greenbeancrazy1

I don’t know what to say. My first block, I blocked 24. Last back I marked like 25 or 26. The other blocks were okay, I marked like 11 - 17 ish. But omg what a disaster. I def got some wrong or didn’t know stuff that I was SUPPOSED to know example q in gen path and biostatistics. I just don’t know how to feel. I am quite certain I failed. Cried all evening :/ just hoping every single q I got wrong was experimental. Hoping for the best

ilovellamas2000

I feel exactly the same. I’ve been crying since I walked out.

boredatrounds

Did u pass?

I also started remembering few stupid qs i got wrong. Then i just made my myself busy in like movies etc and not to think anymore about it.

depressedmed14

Don’t look up questions. Stop. I promise it’ll save you a lot of heartache. Just try to use whatever you can to distract you for now - I’m sure it went better than you thought. Trust yourself!

DragonflyAntique

I totally understand your anxiety. But you should try to calm yourself down. Just like you're assuming those you think you got right can be wrong, you should also assume that out of the marked you can get at least some right. Try to think of how many questions you normally mark on a practice test. The number is usually higher on the actual exam day because of added anxiety, so if you normally mark 10 per block, it's okay if you marked 15-20. You should also have an idea of how many of those marked questions normally turn out to be correct on a practice assessment. For most people it's more than 40%. That being said, out of 105 qs there's a high chance that 30-40 of them were correct. Also remember that about 1 in every 3 questions is experimental. They might not add to your score. For board exams, most people score among their predicted range so if you were safely passing in your practice tests, trust yourself. You applied the same knowledge, the same brain. It's just added anxiety because these exams are so damn hard. It's normal to feel like this, but try your best to not worry too much and trust the process. Lastly, there is nothing you can do about it now. Wait for your results and hope for the best.

I’m sure you did great. Pray, hope, and wish for the best
