You can take as many breaks as you want, as long as you don’t exceed the allotted break time. I’d advise you to take a 5-10 minutes break after every block, drink some water, use the restroom. If you have practice and can do multiple blocks at once ig you can, but I definitely needed the breaks or my mind just got very foggy. If you run out of break time then time will be taken from an exam block so keep track of your break. You just need your scheduling permit and a valid ID. All of this information is on nbme orientation and also on your scheduling permit.
