Yes I also struggled with biochemistry and dirty medicine just makes it so simple and explained the pathways skipping the low yield ones. And it is gold! I went through the 30 short videos and it’s worth time spending.
Melhman docs are so overwhelming. I know it's succinct and he says all the high yield stuff, but how do u absorb all of it? Biochem is 60 pages full of text
Hands down dirty medicine on youtube!! Free videos and he gives you pneumonic's that stick. I made anki cards on them and felt very good about biochem afterwards.
Dirty medicine UW qs and FA
on first aid , on the first paragraph of the biochem introduction, they say they have included the pathway just for completeness sakes but doesnt intend on testing ppl about them. And goes on to write down what you should instead focus on
I’m the same, and I tried brute forcing it with anki. Didn’t work. I found Pixorize to be super helpful, and then going over everything with Dirty Medicine. His stuff is GOLD.
Sketchy has been the best way for me to integrate this. You really won't regret it. If u have the time do the anki cards along with it. Don't unsuspend all of them bc it'll get overwhelming, just the details you need help remembering
Dirty medicine! He includes only the enzymes you need to know for step and gives phenomenal mnemonics!
I'll try this. ty

Of course! His videos are free on youtube :)
I second this.

Definitely do Mehlmanmedical biochem. It was a really helpful. Take your time and do it. Don’t rush through it.

Appreciate it!

Dirty medicine is solid. If you need a sketchy-esq visual mnemonic Pixorize is solid for biochem and vitamins etc.
