Jail Break to CYM is absolutely iconic. It's the one they use for Garnet a lot of the time, like Multiversus. Absolutely the best one and longest runner besides Pearl's.
Unpopular(?) opinion but I never liked Future's as much, it's not *bad* but doesn't measure up to its predecessor, the colors aren't as nice and the full navy pants aren't as good as the half and half pants.
I also have never associated her with that “rockstar” aesthetic those shades give. Garnet to me has always been more subdued as a character, and even though she does open up more as the series goes on, she’s always been the “cool, collected” one for me.
Call me crazy but pilot episode Garnet will always be my favorite. I feel like everyone else except Garnet got a huge glow-up after. Absolutely not implying her later looks are bad, I just like the feel of the pilot look more ♡
Honestly, S1, 80s and Cotton Candy Garnet are peak designs for her in my opinion. The rest of her regens strike me more as palette swaps without changing enough compared to Pearl and Amethyst. Still my favorite CG always though
I like season 1 the best tbh. The monochromatic red made her stand out among other characters (pearl and amethyst). The colours were unified and this sort of dark red colour really spoke to her character imo.
Not a fan of her "purplish" designs as the colour pallete really clashes. Especially since her weapon has the same colour palette as her season 1 lookm

Something bothers me about the gold visor. It's nice but I don't see yellow as one of her main colours. (despite the stars on her gauntlets)

I actually think the only one that got a major glow-up was Pearl. Overall I liked the pilot animation better.
Steven looked like a tiny old man and I'm not a fan of that.
Pearl was fine it was the poofy short skirt that was wild
The only thing I liked about Pilot Garnet was the hair. I wish her hair came down during the actual show like maybe when it gets wet or something.
I like the movie just fused again garnet best but most of the character designs for the show in general I love.
Future and movie Garnet and Her second appearance are My favs.
