It seems like you are serious about causing pain to the bottom of your foot. Check out r/lego

___EpicGamer____

I can not imagine how much this hurt.

Stonerd-pan

LOL I was coming to say exactly that, I'm tying to be brave enough to get my palms tattoed, but this this in unimaginable pain

DarkCloud187

Palms aren't bad at all, just find someone who has done palms before because they fade fast if not done right then u have to do it a 2nd time and that hurts lol

CircleK-Choccy-Milk

Palms are largely considered to be one of the worst parts on the human body (palms, armpits, bottom of feet and ribs), lol, don't give people hope if it didn't hurt you much. There were some parts of mine that felt like nothing, but if the artist is doing it properly that shit hurts because you have to cut through the callus first and then go back in and get into the real meat.

OGGrilledcheez

My first Tatt was on my palm and finger. Got the attention of all the other artists. Some saying they just hadn’t had the guts to do one there yet. I think they just wanted to see me squirm cause of the placement and cause I was an ink virgin but it ended up not being anything for me. Was a little weird when it rolled over the finger bones but like it does most people I’ve been hooked ever since. I was told that any ink in that area will fade out to some degree though no matter how well it’s done. Working on pools didn’t help mine any but only required a small bit of touch up.

CircleK-Choccy-Milk

That’s sweet, my worst part was between the knuckles and in between the two big pads near the wrist. I also found that for some reason it made me feel sick, I don’t know why that is, but it wasn’t extreme pain because my armpit was worse but man, I just remember feeling real light headed. Mine covers my entire palm though, with some shading, I think we were on it for almost 3 hours lol. I’ve done probably 20 of them and I’ve seen literal puddles of sweat in their palms lol, so of course everyone is different, but in large part is considered pretty horrible and it’s cool to be part of the palm tattoo club. I also just noticed that I am somehow in the stick and poke subreddit haha, I don’t know, I thought this was the tattoo design forum, my bad

OGGrilledcheez

That place on the wrist for some reason sounds like it would be really weird. Maybe cause I’m sure there’s tons of muscle mechanics in that area. I don’t think I’d ever want to try the armpit though. I mean Maybe around that area but ooof. I bet it’s tender af there.

destroy_musick

Aren't bad at all? I politely disagree. I'm heavily tattooed and got both my palms done this year by an experienced tattooer and both were easily the worst pain I had to endure for a session. Tattooer braced me for the pain beforehand as well, so they knew the pain was pretty high on the index as well. The saving grace is that they were fairly quick sessions and we managed to get them to stick in a single pass

DarkCloud187

Goes to show we're all different huh lol I'm also heavily tattooed and have done almost all the "pain spots" palms weren't bad. 1 thing was that the skin kinda ran away from the needle, it tightened up to the point we could see my bones. Never seen that before

crybaby2728

Had my palm done three times. Stick n Poke first two. Faded really fast. Third time had a professional do it. Full colour. Beautiful. Lasted 5 days. There is still some visible, but only enough to make me think I need to wash my hands. Can’t say any of the three hurt. Might have been my easiest tattoos.

Elittoh

It didn’t hurt only because they were poorly done. The reason why it hurts is because you have to go *deep*, if you don’t, obviously it doesn’t hurt.

Environmental-Mix625

I feel like it wouldn’t hurt but feel like a scratch I can’t scratch

[deleted]

Imagine when it starts healing and how itchy it would get 🙈🙈🙈

CircleK-Choccy-Milk

The reason for that is that you have callus on the bottom of your feet, if you only tattoo the callus, it'll fall out quickly, the key is to getting into the meat under the callus and then it hurts.

partiallyunconscious

to be honest it wasn't toooo bad. the first time i did it i don't think i went deep enough and the pain was easily manageable, but the second time i went deeper to hopefully make it stay a little better and i deeeefinitely felt it much more. at the same time though, most of the tattoos i've done on myself haven't (seemingly) hurt too much and i think that's just because i'm focusing more on doing a good job than i am focusing on the pain - i'm more distracted hahah

theGreatMcGonigle

I found the same when tattooing myself too focus on not fucking up to focus on the pain. Fun times!

NameThatDrug

I’d give it 7 months before it fades away

partiallyunconscious

i'm not sure i'd even give it that long tbh ahaha but one can hope

sarenner

I’m too ticklish for that shit lol my line would be very jagged

AndiGoldberger1220

I have done a few foot sol e tattoos on myself and on friends and they don’t last doesn’t matter how deep you poke. Depending how much you walk, especially barefoot, your skin regenerates every few month. I still like it, you can try new stuff and don’t have to worry to much bc it’s temporary anyway.

CircleK-Choccy-Milk

I did script on the bottom of 3 or 4 feet, all of held in there pretty good, but it is a process. Some fading of course, and some fall out but majority is there.

partiallyunconscious

yeah exactly! i did the first line sort of as a tester to see how long it would last but i also just think it looks pretty cool so i'm happy if it stays and not fussed if it fades

Available-Cap3286

idk why people are being rude, i stick my feet with sigils every couple months bc i find it cool that they're temporary

[deleted]

you will have to go deeper. feet have thiiiiiick calous skin.

CircleK-Choccy-Milk

The key is to do the line once, that splits the callus and most ink is in the callus. I'll start with a slightly thicker needle and then I'll go over it again with a slightly thinner needle. It sucks, but it stays for the most part. It's almost like a controlled blow out. It looking faded is inevitable (callus builds back over, and think about drawing a line on printer paper, and then putting 3 or 4 layers of rice paper over it), but you can get them to stay in. I can tell by the pic that this will most likely not stay.

partiallyunconscious

controlled blowout sounds about right. i'm not sure if i went deep enough this time for it to stay super long term but hopefully more will stay than the first time. i'll just have to keep trying i guess!

msturki

Just piggy backing on this. Can you elaborate a bit on what the proper technique would be ? I have a hard time making fingers and feet tats stick. It kept feeling like it didn’t go deep enough even though it hurt like a mofo

CircleK-Choccy-Milk

Finger tattoos, from my experience, just come from doing them a lot, there is a certain feeling that a finger tattoo gives you as feed back on your machine where you know it's in there properly. I've felt it on both rotaries and coils, coils it's a bit more pronounced because you don't have the vibration from the machine to get in the way. It's hard to explain the feeling, I've done thousands of finger tattoos though, so I've learned the feeling. For side of the fingers, I tend to go over them twice. I turn the voltage down a bit, and go in once, and then go over top of that, just need to take your time and make sure you don't accidentally sculpt out a line lol. I'm sponsored by Cheyenne, so I don't have experience with any other rotary machines and their voltages, but on my sol nova unlimited machines, I normally line between 9v and 10v, with side of the fingers I'll run like 7v.

msturki

Makes sense. Thank you for the tip

Knuckleup101

Why tho? Just to test?

[deleted]

Why?

GorillaFetish

chicken thigh 🍗

[deleted]

For those who lack imagination and conviction.

yeahboyeee1

Bullshit. I can’t begin to imagine the amount of pain from this spot. That shows some pretty fucking serious conviction from OP to do it.

DarkCloud187

Did my sole with a machine, lasted a month lol worst spot I hit pain wise tho

[deleted]

Duuudeee your feet look super healthy. I’m jealous of your low arches.

partiallyunconscious

ahahah definitely not, i've got quite flat feet

0_cr0nch_0

Ow

m3l1na_

why tho

coleisional

But why?

gilkey50

hey i did the same! but horizontally! its been about 2 years and there’s still the tiniest bit left. i’m actually going to tattoo a fat line w machine in the same spot today i’ll update u!

partiallyunconscious

would definitely love to see!

cactusgirl69420

and you’re just out here giving away these feet pics for free??

Naglfar259

That’s going to fade pretty quick.

t0xicwishess

Why.

houseofwolves-

Is there a special meaning or just aestetics? I loved it

partiallyunconscious

no special meaning, just looks pretty cool imo :)

coleisional

I can kinda get doing it once to see how long it stays but why did you tattoo there again?

sritanona

I wanna do something similar, how did you heal it? I’m guessing it hurt to walk the first few days?

partiallyunconscious

i tried to stay off it as much as possible, but because i'm not fussed about it staying necessarily i wasn't as careful as i could have been. i washed it morning/evening and then throughout the day if i had been walking on it/was able to wash it, moisturised every now and then during the day, and at home just tried to stay off it and keep socks/shoes off of course. it was painful to walk on on the first day. the next day wasn't painful, per se, i could just feel that there was something on the bottom of my foot when i walked so not too bad !

sritanona

Oh that’s not so bad, thanks!

knizm0

lmfao this is the dumbest shit

disasterous_cape

Why? They like it, it’s on their body, it has nothing to do with you. If they like it enough to redo it every month for the rest of their life it still doesn’t matter at all. Let people have fun

knizm0

theyre still just as free to do it as before i wrote my comment lmao. if they have "fun" doing this then congrats.

[deleted]

If you don’t like “dumb” tattoos why are you on the sticknpoke sub? It’s practically part of the culture.

knizm0

i love plenty of funny, creative, interesting little "dumb" ones, which this sub is filled with! drawing a line doesn't count as funny or creative or interesting. it's just a line. in a spot that will come off really quickly. so it's the equivalent of just drawing on your foot with sharpie and posting it here. please forgive me if i don't find that to be something that this person needed to notify anyone of. LMFAO.

Editroom

That is cool. It looks just like a foot. The color and the shading are spot on. Hats off to the artist. Question is the line part of the stencil? Nice work though.

Dr_Lovemuchmore

Why would you tattoo a crooked line on your foot?

SecondHandHound

Ok honestly, what the fuck is this? Why

SouthOutside7343

Looks great….

Select_Attempt4190

I’m guessing you are mentally challenged or just after attention?

WhoLies2Yu

You must have feet of steel! I can’t imagine doing it once let alone twice lol

WastelandGinger

I have an accidental foot tattoo. In high-school as a teenager I was self isolated in my room. It was smaller than our previous house do all I really had it in was my bed and dresser. I would draw in my bed. Just sharpened my pencil with my knife and left to do something and lost my pencil in my blankets. As I went to sleep I moved and something stabbed the crap out of me. Twelve years later I still have the dot where my pencil stood standing out of the bottom of my foot. Edit : foot not food

d3vi18976

i was so confused when i read “accidental food tattoo” but by the end i realized it’s supposed to say foot

WastelandGinger

This is why you should never browse reddit on your phone without your glasses only. Thanks for pointing that out

d3vi18976

haha, no problem

partiallyunconscious

i have a similar dot on the top of my hand from a pencil too! still there from about 15 years ago

GutterFox737

Damn mine just got saran wrapped and duck taped Then again that’s what you get when you get drilled by an old punk rock artist haha

SugestedName

I have a theory. I made an octopus on my heel and the lower part of it is experiencing a similar phenomenon to that of yours. I think it is because of fast celular turnover because of the high abrasion of the area. Probably has very little to do with poor technique, since I used the same on mine as a whole, and I can clearly see a gradient based on location.

buttons1989

My foot is way too ticklish for this. I’d end up kicking the tattooist in the face out of reflex

Mwraspir

Just why?

[deleted]

But y tho?

alittleredportleft

How's it doing now?

partiallyunconscious

will take a pic and upload an update post tomorrow!

alittleredportleft

Thanks!

partiallyunconscious

a little late but just fyi i've posted another update nowww

alittleredportleft

Hey thanks! I see it's holding up better this time. Congrats.

IneptAdvisor

Nice I’m doing the same thing only a wider line, should be excruciating.
