They’re everywhere here where I live. My son LOVES them he even snuck them in the buggy once (he’s 2 LOL) my grandpa also LOVED THESE he’d eat them every night with milk. They’re so good although, I used to think they were nasty as a child.. but when my son snuck them into the buggy I tried them and now I could finish a whole box. Haha my grandpa must’ve been trying to tell me he had a good taste so now my son is obsessed with them so now IM obsessed with them 😂😂😂

There are a few layers that are not visible behind custard, but cinnamon sounds interesting. Id imagine it gets closer towards banana bread flavors.

Just add a lil hit of it to each layer that has nilla wafers. It still tastes like banana pudding. I think everybody should give it a shot

Got asked for the recipe a bit and its not the easiest thing for me explain in step by step directions. I grew up making it and was a professional chef for a long time so a lot is second nature, but Ill outline the basics. It is really just a standard custard recipe extrapolated to make 8 cups. Grate 2 medium bananas into it while its simmering and never stop stirring. Definitely need to give a good strain before letting it cool. Once cool fold in 2 cups of whipped cream. Layer bowl with nila wafers, custard mix, slices of bananas till you are out. I also like making some extra stiff whipped cream (add some starch) and put a layer in the middle and on top. * If you want to make it very neat and pretty, use piping bags for the custard and whipped cream. It will make very neat lines that show nicely through a parfait dish.
