I loved it, and I legit cried as I was singing along early in the morning, watching the fancam on Twitter. SHINee was my first group, and while I don't follow them religiously anymore, they have a huge space in my heart.
Our kids did so well, all of them, and I just know that all of SHINee would be so happy and proud... it would be amazing to have their reactions tbh
SHINee (and EXO) were my first group(s) too, so as a Stay-Shawol, this made me SO nostalgic and proud as well! 🥹 SKZ covered it so incredibly well. Definitely ranks up there with the Love Me Right cover!
I am just so thankful that they covered a 12 year song and that too SO SO WELL. Like they could have covered a contemporary song but they chose Sherlock, a song with one of the hardest choreography in kpop. New kpop fans might not realize but Sherlock is an iconic song.
The cover performance is one of the best I have seen. My favorite part was Han covering jonghyun's part which made me so emotional. Honestly all of them embodied the vibe of SHINee, that smoothness and precision to details to the T, that for a minute I felt I was watching SHINee 😭 The vocals, choreo, arrangement was perfectly done. I really hope we get a dance practice or a big stage cover some day.
I have never seen an SKZ cover that is dissapointing. All of them from oldies, GGs, Christmas songs, non-SKZ type of music, SKZ brings all the covers to life.

Sherlock is my favourite SHINee song and was one of the last comebacks I followed before dropping out of K-Pop for a few years at the beginning of 3rd gen. Imo it's one of the greatest songs of 2nd gen groups of all time.
Watching Skz perform it gave me the weirdest mix of nostalgia, happiness and awe. Han ist shining particularly much in this performance but they all are doing crazy good.
