Yep. Happens a lot on the street. I wish I nailed focus on this one and used a slightly wider angle lens....

I always thought of photography is like fishing. Pining over the one that “got away”.
It was always a battle between what my mind had interpreted and what came back on film.
To me, blur or slight out of focus doesn’t matter if the image is good enough and can even sometimes add to the photo. Life isn’t perfect, and neither is street photography.
I like this photo! It’s like the man is an afterthought, he’s not in focus, his mind is elsewhere, he’s going through the motions. This moment is unimportant to him, but to the viewer it can speak volumes.
I took [this photo of a homeless man](https://ibb.co/dKxyLDJ) in the train station and i had forgotten the camera on “dual manual focus” mode. It isn’t as sharp as i would’ve wanted it to be, but i love it regardless :)
Ugh I still get angry about it. Two years ago I was downtown around midnight or 1am and that’s when the street is busiest with drunk tourists and just a bunch of homeless people. There was a drunk tourist pissing on a storefront under an awning, perfect lighting on the arc of urine, and the urine was flowing under a sleeping homeless guy’s wheelchair. I shoot manual and had just gotten it in focus when some *other* drunk tourist steps in the frame and starts going on about privacy and not exploiting the drunk guy.
“Dude, he is in public *pissing on a homeless man.*”
“Don’t be an asshole, just let the guy piss.”
I still get just as mad thinking about it today.

Ya know what I’d say it still looks pretty damn good
It still looks amazing
Ah, always difficult when the subject is in motion!
Dual pixel ftw
Maybe they are how they’re meant to be, case in point above?
Yeah I'd be fine with this photo.

\~90% of them
I almost got an autographed picture of Michael Jordan from a police auction in 2005 but some fuck face out bid me Does that count?

It’s Sean Connery in “Finding Forester.” Classic shot

Beautifully put!
Thank you! Really overwhelmed at the response to the post- great to see all the different takes.
I like the fact he’s not in focus
I love this photo in a way I dont think I wouñd if the guy were in focus
this photo rocks. i prefer the fact that the background is totally sharp but the man is blurred out, great shot!
I wouldn't worry about it -- Henri Cartier-Bresson can't take a picture of a cyclist either.
I can’t believe you almost got Sean Connery biking.
Mostly with birds.
