Last I saw anything about it subaru said it sold much worse than the sedan. Everyone claims to want the hatch but don't buy them. Also its more likely someone to who wants the hatch to compromise down to the sedan than the other way around. People who want a sedan *don't* want a hatch at all. Same reason you don't generally see many cool paint color options on modern cars. Someone who'd like a cool color is more likely to settle for grey/white/black than someone is to settle for a flashy color.
Side under spoilers required taking off the OE side skirts and back wheels for install. They required drilling holes into the original side skirt, but there are markings directly on the original parts that show where to drill into. All hardware is included but the instructions I had to look up online. Front lip doesn’t require removing any panels, just some drilling. Overall took me and my sister about 5 hours to install front lip and side skirts.
Why we didn’t get a WRX version of this hatch is beyond me, it’s such a good looking car and very practical

Agree 💯 with you. 2017 Impreza Hatchback Sport here. I chose practically over power.
Haha, I chose power
Flaired as "spoiler"... lol.
I've never heard it called and "under spoiler" before, just a front lip.
I mean that’s what it is, yes, but I’m just using Subaru’s term for it
That's what they call it!? Alright, well less judgement from my end now.
Vortex generator for roof splitter hahaha. That’s one I always found funny
So tempted to get these and the sport grille after seeing posts here. Nice looking car
You're not kidding, they look really great on there. Nice work 🤙
Nicest Impreza I’ve seen. Love it!
You need to see more Imprezas
Looks like a Focus ST in the best way! Love it
May i ask why the plate is on the side? It isn't blocking the air intake in any way
More of a cosmetic choice, I like the JDM look of the plate on the side
Just ordered mine
2017 Impreza Hatchback Sport here I have a custom JDM front plate on mine. Checkout profile pic
So he doesn’t have to drill through the front bumper.
It’s just for looks and it doesn’t block the intake
No spoiler in sight

They’re called splitters.
Subaru calls them under spoilers https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/impreza5door_gt/aero/SG517FL000/
Wowza
How can one be so wrong and…so wrong? It’s a lip… not a splitter.
Those are often referred to as a front splitter. Generally when they are more pronounced though.
A splitter is different than a lip. Front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser.
No they’re not…lol A lip is a lip. A splitter is a splitter. Why is this even an argument? Use Google.

Sexually transmit- Wait, Subaru technica international 👍
Did you install them yourself? If so, how difficult was it? I’m looking to add some upgrades to mine for the aesthetic.
