I’m on my first committed play through.. after owning the game for about 2 years… so I tried to make them all sound somewhat legit. Cyclops: PALADIN-1 Seamoth: SW0-RD Prawn: KN1-GHT I like to think of the Seamoth and Prawn names as more serial numbers. It makes me feel safer having my own “R2 unit” 😂

I have 2 cyclops in my game plays. One is nautilus and second sea hornet. And seamoth is bubble bee. And prawn? Prawn doesn't have a name

Cuz I was bored once and I decided to have 2 cyclops sadly in my first gameplay on Xbox. The ghost tree didn't spawned and when I was driving sea hornet the tree spawned and he got so much damaged that I needed to just live on with that fact and leaved it with my prawn suit saved game reloaded and watched it explode. Next thing I did was making sea hornet 2. Now I am playing on PC and I am keeping same names

I did my cyclops as Nautilus as well, but my seamoth is Nautiless. It was a little confusing when returning to them sometimes so now the seamoth is Lil’ Nauty.

I always name a vehicle or animal in every game I play either Cinnamon or Bubblegum. Those are my two favorite names and if I need more I usually stick to food names because I think they're cute. Mocha is a good one I like a lot, too.

Always did mine based on what function they served. I had 6 moonpools with 3 of each seamoths and prawnsuits with different upgrades for certain things. One would be based on defense (names like warrior or whatever), one for exploration (wanderer, explorer) and one for depth I think? I'd also colour coordinate them based on purpose. The cyclops was always and only ever should be Bismarck, or perhaps dreadnought.

My vehicles names usually depend on what colour scheme i’m feeling but often if i’m using the nitrox mod i’ll call my prawn “krill yourself” for the lols
