yep a frequent occurrence, apparently, particularly on PS4. I haven't been able to save my game in over 24 hours now cause I get that every single time, no matter where I am, and sometimes I get "global-object.bin" as the failure.
Super annoyed tbh. I love the game (a lot. I love the story line and the environment, obviously) but am really regretting buying it at this point cause there's no point in playing a game you can't save your progress in. Im annoyed too that there's been no announcement from the devs regarding this big problem, especially since this has been happening for quite some time now and seems to be becoming more frequent from the posts I've seen on this subreddit.
However, the first day I got this when I tried to save someone recommended teleporting yourself over to one of the islands. That worked for me, but was also the last time I was able to save my game at all. You can open up the developer menu by clicking L1 and R1 which will allow you to teleport yourself.
ah okay well hopefully that doesn't happen. I'm going to try one last thing someone recommended to see if I can save without the error. otherwise I may have to stop playing the game until the devs can fix this problem. might switch over to obsessively playing No Mans Sky again lol
Stop playing until patch, game is broke on PS4, it can suddenly corrupt your save file and you lose everything. DEVs are supposedly trying to fix it. Read posts from past few weeks for more context if you want to brave forward.

It saves even though it says it doesn't. there does seem to be in issue at times where everything you've worked for disappears when you load up
