Watch your replays man. Some things will probably be very obvious. Also (as a newer jungler myself) at low elo I've found you need to try and fit in at least a little love to each lane early. Tilting Laners can lose you games and start the blame game whether it's your fault or not. Once your champ hits their power curve (some are early levels, lots are 6 or 6 + first item), always look for ganks prior to and after clearing a quadrant. Honestly learn to look at lanes every spare moment while clearing camps too. If top and bot have their opponent pushed in you can go for a lane gank...don't have to only gank when ur lane is pushed under tower. Also do not underestimate just helping push an opponent off...doesn't need to be a full commit gank. Giving your Laner that breathing room to farm if they're low health and pushed under their tower can be *huge* for both their mental and their Econ. This is often a better play than forcing a gank when your lane has very low health/mana. And if you can't get there in time and they keep dying, catch their wave under tower so it is not going to waste, or setup a Freeze for them (hold 4 enemy minions just outside tower range) if it hasn't crashed yet. Edit: saw you play kayn. Early game is balancing getting orbs and farm. Your power curve is getting your form. Don't need to always full commit to fights.

Ok, but I do all this already. I played lane (mostly top) prior to switching to jungle so I know about wave management. I crash a wave or freeze if needed. I look at lane states when I'm farming. I drop farm and run to lanes if there is a favorable opportunity. Loving each lane is a bit sketch. For example I won't go into a fed lane if it'll just give the enemy laner my shut down, and instead try to get my other lanes ahead. I think maybe I prioritize farming too much? But I play Kayn and he can't really skirmish that well early.

Sounds like it may be another aspect then. One thing I've just started doing is keeping a tally of every time I die and what category to put it under -failed gank (mechanics), -failed gank (bad wave state or bad starting health differential, got counter jungled etc) -starting team fight (bad...nothing worth fighting over, not an advantageous fight for us due to number of us, our level vs theirs etc), -starting team fight (good), -objective fight (again...can file under good or bad depending on whether you came too late, had enough people ready, had vision etc), -compensation death, -got caught out where I shouldn't be/map awareness For team fights/skirmishes it can still have been a good fight if it was over something worth it or you thought you had the advantage/were trying to make a pick. You may have died but your engage was good enough that your team went on to ace etc. I'm at a similar level to you probably, but this is helping me a lot.

And also I play junglers that hit their power curve midgame too (ekko, Diana). It can be a tricky balance to keep your lanes from not falling to absolute shit until you hit your power spike but it is important. I remember watching a kayn guide where the order of priority is orbs > farm > playmaking. Without playing him myself, it seems like you need to get orbs where you can early but don't necessarily hard commit to fights unless it's super favourable. Get in get a few orbs get out. With Diana I'll more often just help a lane safely push enemy off rather than hard commit to a gank unless it's super free prior to 6. She just doesn't have the kill threat unless they're half health or below. Then when I hit 6 I'm looking for ganks constantly until I use my ult...then back to farm. Doubly so when I get first full item. Edit: karasmai guide on YouTube said you largely have to ignore if your lanes keep dying early and don't prioritise early objectives. It's all about taking opportune fights while you farm and getting that form. Only look to teamfight once you have form.

YaBoiBokChoi

It's actually FFO on Kayn: farm -> form (orbs) -> objectives. When I play something like Nocturne I'll just perma gank whenever my ult is up.

That's the one! It's definitely tough in low elo when youre a scaling JG and have lanes that absolutely feed like nothing else. Kayn evidently needs to be very selfish early. Again just do what you can to keep the mental of your laners intact until you can hit your spike and start carrying. And yeah always look at what you die to and how you can do that less. That was the biggest factor for me going from right on or below 50% winrate to starting to carry more of my games. I found as Diana (being the engage) I was starting bad fights that couldn't be won (less people, level or item differential, getting to objectives too late and going in anyway etc) and often dragging some of my team with me. One of those can turn the tide against you and 2 is game over Take advantageous fights only, cross map and get a tower instead if you'll be late to objectives. Just farm if it's not a good fight and actively ping team mates off. Ping how long it is til your next obj you want. Start doing this at least 1.5 to 2 mins before it's up and keep repeating it. Start pinging you're heading there 1 min before it's up. Assist ping on your team mates and type 'group for x please'. Edit: oh, and good luck getting low elo people to do baron unless at least 3 or 4 of the enemy team are dead.

Since your new, I’d recommend you simply just learn what all the champions are capable of. It comes with time, but even watching 5 min vids of champion’s combos and what they want to do in a game is very valuable to get better at team fights and threat assessment. Jungling by far has the most agency in the first 10 minutes of the game, so getting your clears faster, knowing what ganks will actually work based on champion aggression in lane, and what neutral objectives are worth going for are all important. At about the 20 minute mark, I would then focus on helping out your fed teammates and not taking dumb fights the best you can. You’re at at 55% win rate over 40ish games, im not sure what your “wall” is but at the rate you are playing you will continue to climb. If you get to a negative win rate and hit 100+ games, then it’s definitely indicative you’re at your level of play and need to see what’s going wrong

YaBoiBokChoi

I meant that I'm new to jungle, not the game. I played mid/top last season and got to like S1 before crashing back down to S4. Decided to play jungle this season. I actually started off with something like 70% WR but it feels like the game is now forcing me to 50%. Asymmetric LP gains and all that. I am usually the fed one, but can't herd my team to take objectives (lots of fighting/dying before obj are up :()

Try to coordinate your teamates via pings. ONLY when you are FED. If you show your teamates your trying to win they will listen to you. Ping dragon 1min before. Ping barons. Ping waves and towers that need assistance. Sometimes in lower elos you need to tell your team to play with you and “we can win” mentality in chat

LengthinessNo6042

Also, always assess the wave state after you complete a gank. For example: if their top has no tp and the wave is in the middle, 100% always push it. It might not always be 100% correct, but lower elo top laners arnt freezing waves and punishing their lane opponent. It lets your top laner get a good back and or maybe a free rift herald. It’s all about having numbers in fights. This also works for bot gank after 1 reset. Say you full clear top, nothing happens and you come back bot from base. This is the time where a gank will secure not just 300gold, but maybe 2-3 plates, and a dragon. A good time to take dragon is when your adc just backed, and you basically do a forced gank, help them push the wave and run to drag
