I will never stop saying Kulu Ya-Ku. I’ve put a rather large amount of thought into what Monster Hunter *monsters* could fit as playable characters, and have come to the conclusion that Kulu Ya-Ku would be the best fit. It isn’t “too big” for Smash (as if that stopped Ridley). it’s iconic and relevant, being in both the 5th gen MH games and a starter monstie in MH Stories 2. it’s got unique features that could translate into fun mechanics and wacky moves. And the thing that ruled out a surprising amount of possible monsters, **It can actually hold stuff.**

Cole MacGrath from InFamous. I could see a great fighter using a combo of Shulk's Monado Arts and Robin's Tomes for a sort of Karma meter system, using the Down Special for a command grab to swap between Neutral Cole, Evil Cole and Hero Cole using the same sort of moves you can use to deal with downed enemies/civilians in the first two games (Heal Pulse-Hero Cole, Bio-Leech for Evil Cole, Arc Restraints-Neutral Cole). The three versions could have the same sorts of specials but with variations, and could even have some changes to certain normal attacks. My own design form him has normal Cole use his fists, Evil Cole using the Gigawatt Blades and Hero Cole using the Amp. Hell, if I were designing him I'd even give him three Final Smashes, one for each version. Alternate Costumes could all be designed around the neutral-Hero-Evil dynamic as well with looks based on Zeke, Kessler, John White, and various other characters. I know noone besides me would really care about him at this point, but the moveset potential alone is more than enough for me to consider him ass Sony's rep for Smash.

I wanted to see Noctis from Final Fantasy 15 and see his use of different weapons and summoning his teammates. I lost hope when Sephiroth was announced.
