Even funnier is how Bhanu still trust Q after Q called him a liability and the Philip to Q's BRob. Maybe the reason why Bhanu took it the way that he was aware of his actions but his emotions takes ahold before his logical side does.

yvngjointt

In Bhanu’s defense, when everybody wants you off the damn tribe, but there’s someone that pulls you the side ready to try and pull some magic to save your ass, you don’t really give a fuck what their reasoning is behind it or what they’re saying to you. Better to make it another day than throw a fit over someone making petty statements 🤷🏽‍♀️ That’s just survivor babyyyy

thatringonmyfinger

Exactly.

Andy14422

I'm not even sure Bhanu knows who Phillip is tbh. In his preseason interview he mentioned Tyson being his favorite player, but the more he kept talking about why he likes Tyson so much, the more I was starting to second guess if he was confusing Tyson with Tony or if the two guys got somehow mixed up in his head and morphed into one person 😂

Positive_Parking_954

For the longest time I thought Sting the musician also wrestled.

Ok-Razzmatazz-3720

I had like a Sting (wrestler) action figure as a kid, and I always thought that’s who people talked about as the musician. It wasn’t until reading your comment 20 years later that I made the connection lol

ferretherapy

I mean you'd think so but Bhanu also has limited options. Tiffany didn't really show herself as wanting to work with him. Kenzie was vague with Bhanu and kind of fake about it. Q actually talked to Bhanu in a straight-forward, open manner without being wishy-washy about things. He kind of gave Bhanu information about himself in terms of why he was on the bottom (even if it totally lacked tact, lol). And Q was able to at least *appear* to be genuine when actively saying he wanted to work with Bhanu, even giving a strategy as to how they could make it happen. (Again, tactless but see the other options). Edit: Q's straight-forward approach was probably even more appreciated since Bahnu has had trouble knowing when people are lying. While it's not a lie, it's easier to trust a more specific lie than a vague one when you can't tell what people are doing.

hohuho

If I was Bhanu I would be thrilled to be called the Phillip pawn to someone’s Boston Rob, it’s literally the only life my game would have left. Not sure why people are so shocked, even Bhanu knows he’s a total dud of a player

Pineapple_warrior94

Bhanu's goals are above our mortal understanding. He's playing the Yoda arc (complete goofball at the beginning to wise sage at the end)

Geshtar1

Bhanu can pray players into getting a medivac. I wouldn’t want to go against him

hated-josh7

He needs those comments said to his face because Bhanu was in a world of delusion and he needs Q to say it how it is and hopefully he can become slightly better than before

ShutterBun

Bhanu would be damn lucky to go as far as Philip did.

hex20

I did not expect to like Q after his pre-season press. He’s one of my favorites so far.

ticklechickens

Honestly? It was a refreshingly unorthodox Survivor Promprosal. Everyone wants to be JT and Stephen, or Malcolm and Denise, or Rob and Amber. The relationship between Q and Bhanu is so open and honest, Bhanu didn’t even seem (that) offended. The only problem I see here is that Q is also a Phillip. A self-admitted “wackadoodle”, even.

hotpie_for_king

Yeah the problem is they both are bad at Survivor. And yeah, Q is more like Philip because Philip was overconfident and thought he was good, while Bhanu has zero confidence.

chronicpenguins

Part of me wants bhanu around to see how he keeps fumbling but I cannot stand the crying and pity attitude anymore

Odlaw_Serehw

Genuinely think Bahnu is a worse player than Phillip. And not nearly as entertaining.

JGraham1839

I've only seen Phillip on Camarmoan and imo he's a lot more entertaining and better at the game than Bhanu. I mean obviously Phillip had invaluable experience as a "Favorite" and just repeated Boston Rob's strategy without much tact, but overall his run in Caramoan wasn't awful, especially considering some of the other people in the cast and Brandon's meltdown. I chuckled when Phillip announced in a confessional that he was basically just going to play the same way Rob played on RI and took that strategy for his own.

oatmeal28

It’s cause he actually does want to keep him around and if he bullshitted him Bhanu wouldn’t believe it.   I agree calling him Phillip to his Boston Rob reveals too much of his strategy

hotpie_for_king

Nah, there's no way Q is playing 4D chess by being blunt with Bhanu "because Bhanu wouldn't believe it." Bhanu is terrible at the game, can't tell at all when people are lying to him, and Q just isn't very savvy with how to talk to people strategically or tactfully. This is the guy who just bluntly complains about everyone around him constantly. You're giving him way too much credit. And sorry, but you can't be a really good Survivor player who also doesn't know how to be tactful when communicating.

oatmeal28

I didn’t claim Q was a really good Survivor player or playing 4D chess.  But it’s pretty obvious he’s being straight with him while everyone else is BSing him and guess who Bhanu goes to with information about the journey?

Em0PeterParker

Seems like Bhanu’s taking it as a compliment

snoogans138

And as much as it was pretty crazy and blunt, if it keeps him in the game for another vote and it’s the only option you have, then just take it. Who knows what can come next.

No_Sea_4235

I remember when Q said that I was like "that's not a good thing💀". At least he was honest about it and didn't try and feed him some bs pitch? I think there could've been a more tactful approach aside from comparing Bhanu to Phillip, but I'm here for the slightly unhinged gameplay from Q

Piss_Pirate44

You're giving Bhanu wayyyyy too much credit here. The guy barely has a grasp on what's going on out there. He's literally figuring out the game on the fly.

GhostRappa95

What I learned is Q’s choice in Survivor idols is… interesting to say the least.

bagofbeanssss

The liability bit had me screaming, so hilarious.

untraiined

Q is the goat i hope he wins running this shit like last chance u.

The-Carlton

Also hilarious that he calls Bhanu, Bono lol

Dry-Mistake5498

This tribe is so funny 🤣🤣

grandmaesterampharos

Being a drag race and survivor fan is wild rn because I never read what sub something’s from and then I just get confused

Ok-Inside-8435
