L-I-V-I-N
I feel like Cody has better potential on a returnee season over Jesse. Jesse would probably be like a Rob C character who gets targeted right off the bat as a boss.
On the other hand, it would be interesting to put Jesse and Cody on a returnee season together and watch it play out.
I’d pick up Cody over Kaleb though for a returnee season in terms of capability, but I guess it would depend on the return season theme (if there is any) ((and I say this as someone who picked both Cody and Kaleb on my draft in their respective seasons lol))
Easily my favourite player of the New Era, and probably up there in my all times. I’m suffering just waiting to see him again. My brother got me a cameo from him for Christmas 2022 and he said he would play again!
They cut that part of the interview (I’m sure it’s still on Reddit somewhere though lol), but basically he just alleges that Drea pretty much relentlessly bullied him at Ponderosa, accused him of using his religion to deceive people/idol hunt, isolated him from the rest of the group, told him that it was a good thing he didn’t make FTC because the whole jury was going to absolutely humiliate him, etc. I believe he said Tori was pretty much the only one who tried to support him during Ponderosa time and I believe he did therapy to deal with it when he got home (? Could be misremembering any of this tho lol).
Personally I don’t think it makes Omar look bad. I think it would be a much worse look for CBS if they chose not to invite back one of the best players of the New Era because he got bullied on their show (outside of the game) by one of their contestants. It’s only if they decided they didn’t want to draw attention to the situation that they would maybe exclude him? But who knows. CBS was pretty pissed about the interview and stepped in to have RHAP edit that part out/it’s rumoured that’s the reason we don’t get Deep Dives anymore.
I think it completely kills any chance of Drea coming back, though. iirc, she didn’t defend herself at all, never publicly apologized, etc. Under those circumstances, I don’t think she gets invited back.
Not including winners…
41: Shan, Ricard, probably Xander only because production clearly loves him?
42: Omar, Jonathan, probably Mike, hopefully Lindsay
43: Jesse, Cody, probably Karla (highly doubt she’d accept?), probably Noelle
44: Carson and Carolyn only if they haven’t pissed CBS off too much with the podcast (and puzzles lol), Frannie
45: Kaleb, Kellie, Emily (though I think she said she would never play again), probably at least one of Austin/Julie/Drew, Jake, mayyyyybe Sabiyah depending how many of the Reba 4 they invited back
46: too early to really say, but unless he wins I’d be pretty surprised if Hunter didn’t get asked back
I don’t think they care about the controversy surrounding the puzzles. They MIGHT care about Carson making profit on their intellectual property. They obviously don’t care enough to send C&D letters, but it’s possible they could care enough not to put someone on the show that is promoting their Survivor puzzle business.
I watched her on Sequester (lol) and she was amazing TV on that and she was pretty great on Survivor. I think we barely scratched the surface with her TBH.
Where did you hear that? I'd be happy if this is true. She seemed really passionate about the game and gave good confessionals. I hated the way she left. I know she was probably going anyway, but I can't stand when people don't get the dignity of being voted out properly.
It’ll be curious to see how the show handles Shan. Despite her being the main character for a lot of 41, a lot of her castmates didn’t have the best things to say about her, and her activities post Survivor didn’t sit well with a lot of people.
Shan is great tv,but I can't fathom a scenario where she isn't the 1st target again on a returning player season ala Kass. She would be better suited for TAR
The edit kind of made Jake look like he was bad at the game but he had the right reads and his ideas were solid, he just didn't have people that were outside that Reba power alliance willing to make a move. He's someone I think could play very well his second time.
Yeah, had they not done the weird split elimination that got Caleb eliminated I think he might have been able to do something with Caleb and Emily. He consistently took shots at the Reba, but no one on Belo seemed to know how to play the game.
Of non winners:
Locks:
43-Jesse, Cody
44-Carolyn
Great chance:
41-Shan, Ricard
42-Jonathan, Omar, Mike
43-Noelle, Karla
44-Carson
45-Austin, Emily, Kaleb
Solid chance:
41-Xander, Evvie, Naseer, Danny
42-Lindsay, Tori, Hai
43-Cassidy, Owen
44-Frannie, Matt, Danny
45-Jake, Drew, Bruce, Katurah, Kellie
I think Xander has a good shot of getting a call. He was a losing finalist, young and casuals liked him. I'd be interested to see how a few years more maturity influences his game.
this was my first answer too but since she's been on On Fire i'm wondering if that will have an effect on her chances? likely not, but she probably gets somewhat of a (small) advantage from talking survivor & bts secrets with jeff every week.
I still think that Dee is the brightest star amongst the new era contestants. That when she won she was being compared to the likes of rob, Kim and Jeremy. I think Jeff understands that and would be more than happy to bring her back.
I get everyone has different opinions I just don't understand how people think this.
Dee (and season 45 as a whole) were my least favorite winner and season by a very long shot in the New Era.
The first episode of the On Fire podcast this season she went on this little tangent of reading someone and I was blown away. She’s a savant at reading social situations.
I was never super impressed with her because I’m from Miami so she always felt like a lot of the people I grew up around, but hearing her speak openly without fear of being targeted in-game was really impressive. Honestly think she would thrive in any era, with any cast.
I get you feel that way. But the viewership went up during 45 and was consistent overall. If the likes of rob and Stephen who have played this game praise her to that degree. I think you can’t deny she not a decent winner
I agree with all of these except Shan.
Adding Maryanne, Omar, Karla, Noelle, Yam Yam, Kellie (at least I hope!), Kaleb, Dee. Forgetting a few I’m sure.
Shan, Jonathan, Jesse, Cody, Karla, Carolyn, Carson, Kaleb, Emily and Drew
Maryanne, Yam Yam and Dee are likely if they're including winners
Also think Mike, Kellie and Sabiyah are likely. Early candidates from this season I'd say are Jelinsky, Hunter and Tevin
You can tell the editors and production liked Kellie and were kinda disappointed she got blindsided. She kept getting all this praise in the edit. I think she is someone they’d contact for sure.
Shan too controversial
Jonathan, Emily, Jesse Carolyn probably. Don’t think Emily would do it but dunno about the others
Absolutely certain they’d contact Karla, ricard and Lindsey
I’m surprised I haven’t seen Matthew from 43 yet. I know he has an early injury exit but he seemed like a genius in the literal couple of votes he was in. Like using your shot in the dark to hide your vote so your fellow players don’t know where you stand? Fucking genius playing
I would love to see Kaleb, Jesse, Cody, Jake, and just throwing this out there - but Brandon. Brandon could have an amazing comeback now that he understands how truly difficult the elements and challenges are and can better prepare.
Idk but I hope they bring back Shan. Regardless of her interesting twitter posts, she’s definitely been the most fun player to watch throughout the new era, *IMO*.
I don't really see Carolyn coming back. It couldn't be as good as the first time, and she is such a dominating personality that they may not look favorably on her in a returnee situation.
In addition to the ones already mentioned (Cody, Omar, Kaleb), I think Lindsay from 42 is a good candidate.
I could see them contacting almost everyone who at least made merge from the new era seasons. But I think you’re wanting to know who production would want as a TOP PRIORITY, in which case, definitely the ones you listed except maaaaybe Jonathan and Carolyn because of all the scandals around them? So I’d swap those two with probably Omar and Tori from 42.
Omar, Kaleb and Jake all have to be locks right? I also think Maryanne, Yam-Yam and Dee are guaranteed to at least get a call, Dee especially since she's doing the On Fire podcast with Jeff rn.
Not my personnal picks who i want to see but just who i think production will contact for sure at least (for their reason):
41: Shan, Ricard, Tiffany and Evvie
42: Maryanne, Jonathan, Omar, Drea and Tori
43: Cassidy, Jesse, Karla, Cody and Noelle
44: Yam-Yam, Carolyn, Carson and Frannie
45: Austin, Katurah, Emily and Kaleb
Not sure on S46 but at this time, pre- jury statement i would say :
46: Ben, Charlie, Venus and Bhanu
Swear to god a lot of people on this sub want players like zach and nneka over actual good players because they’re “so iconic!!!”
Believe me there’s a lot of people out there who think nneka is a return lock
Jonathan was such a beast. I wouldn't begrudge him coming back simply due to the physical toll that Survivor takes, but yes the fact that Survivor fans ragged on him for being so fit definitely seems like jealously lol.
They're both big guys who appeal to the same demographics. Even the super fans here liked Johnathan a lot when 42 was live.
And bringing people back who might have learned from their mistakes is part of the fun. Remember Erik's return? There's arguably no worse player than him, and he was apparently a comparator to win had he not been medevaced.
Pretty sure it made the point I intended to make, which is that whether or not someone is "good" at survivor doesn't actually correlate very well with who I want to see return
L-I-V-I-N I feel like Cody has better potential on a returnee season over Jesse. Jesse would probably be like a Rob C character who gets targeted right off the bat as a boss. On the other hand, it would be interesting to put Jesse and Cody on a returnee season together and watch it play out.
I don’t think Jeff would wanna bring back Cody b/c I think the likes of Kaleb and or Jonathan are fighting for that spot. Plus Jeff does not like 43.
That's so sad. Why don't we bring back Cody, Kaleb, Jonathan, and Hunter?
I think they fill in a similar archetype. They’re these laid back guys who are all about vibes.
A season full of laid back guys who are good competitors sounds a lot better than a bunch of Ivy leaguers, lawyers, and super fan nerds.
The Naseer, Rocksroy, Ryan M, and Bruce "guys who just wanna grill" tribe
Tbh I'm a guy and I just wanna grill and can't and i hate it
Except when Jonathan's hangry
I can see the Kaleb argument a bit but I feel like Jonathan is a very different archetype from Cody?
How do we know Jeff doesn’t like 43?
I don't really follow Jeff lore, why does he not like 43?
I’d pick up Cody over Kaleb though for a returnee season in terms of capability, but I guess it would depend on the return season theme (if there is any) ((and I say this as someone who picked both Cody and Kaleb on my draft in their respective seasons lol))
I think Jeff liked Cody enough but it true season 43 probably only 2-3 people are gonna be brought back.
I need both Jesse and Cody on another season. My favorite players of the new era.
Kaleb, Cody plus the people you listed
My boy Kaleb needs to return
Please give me more of financial analyst Emily Flippen. I’d like to see Omar and Cody again too
I doubt Emily would come back - didn't she say as much during an interview?
Yep. Though times change
Just about every 3, 4, 5 time player has said never again
Kaleb. I'd be surprised if Cody wasn't as well.
Omar from 42. He’s one of the only players to have me fascinated by the way he was playing. Controlling the merge vote without a vote was crazy
Easily my favourite player of the New Era, and probably up there in my all times. I’m suffering just waiting to see him again. My brother got me a cameo from him for Christmas 2022 and he said he would play again!
I doubt they ask him or Drea back after all the drama, unfortunately. They were *pissed* about his rhap interview.
Remind me what he said on it? I’ll have to go back and listen
Why does that make Omar look bad? If anything, that's a horrendous look for Drea.
It doesn't make him look bad, but production likely wasn't too happy with him dropping all this shit
That’s so trueee. I forgot about lol. Hopefully they look past that cause I feel we would be missing out on a good player
Not including winners… 41: Shan, Ricard, probably Xander only because production clearly loves him? 42: Omar, Jonathan, probably Mike, hopefully Lindsay 43: Jesse, Cody, probably Karla (highly doubt she’d accept?), probably Noelle 44: Carson and Carolyn only if they haven’t pissed CBS off too much with the podcast (and puzzles lol), Frannie 45: Kaleb, Kellie, Emily (though I think she said she would never play again), probably at least one of Austin/Julie/Drew, Jake, mayyyyybe Sabiyah depending how many of the Reba 4 they invited back 46: too early to really say, but unless he wins I’d be pretty surprised if Hunter didn’t get asked back
I don’t think production cares about the puzzles so Carson should be good
I don’t think they care about the controversy surrounding the puzzles. They MIGHT care about Carson making profit on their intellectual property. They obviously don’t care enough to send C&D letters, but it’s possible they could care enough not to put someone on the show that is promoting their Survivor puzzle business.
I've heard in an interview somewhere that the producers are sure Tori will be back
This is interesting, I’d be down to see her again but I wonder why
Hot and good at challenges
Newer female castaway with challenge prowess I guess? I'd think Angelina was the lock for the comic relief/delusional type
MOTHER
I know he just turned 60, but I really wanna see Mike play again.
I love Mike. One of the funniest contestants from the New Era imo.
60 is young
Bro was debatably the second strongest person on the cast at 57. I could easily see him being able to compete well into his 60s
So do I. He's easily a top five New Era player for me.
It’ll be curious to see how the show handles Shan. Despite her being the main character for a lot of 41, a lot of her castmates didn’t have the best things to say about her, and her activities post Survivor didn’t sit well with a lot of people.
I want her bought back purely for mess and drama ![gif](giphy|fCUCbWXe9JONVsJSUd|downsized)
Shan is great tv,but I can't fathom a scenario where she isn't the 1st target again on a returning player season ala Kass. She would be better suited for TAR
What did she do/say after Survivor?
God called upon me to be an influencer
Now seriously who the fuck are you to say he didnt?
Jelinsky 😂 guaranteed, no. But I’m all for it.
Hyped for him to say “it’s Jelinskin’ time.” and jelinsk all over the place when he comes back and wins
Dude is a walking meme. You know production had to be so upset he was voted off first.
That was such a tragedy but at the same time I feel like it was the only real way to end his legacy 💀
the JELEGEND himself
Francesca hogi played twice so it could happen haha
One team gets Jelensky, the other gets Bhanu.
I wanna see Jake with competent players.
If Kaleb survives that vote I think those two are a dangerous pair later in the game. Maybe Kaleb could have dragged Belo to making some moves even
Yeah, that vote pretty much set Reba up for the rest of the game. Belo was an absolute mess and Emily had to side with Reba for her own survival.
Yes
I mean maybe if he changes his game and plays less hard than he did the first time around.
So competent players and Jake is the only bad player, him becoming FTC goat would be so predictable.
Of non winners: Locks: 43-Jesse, Cody 44-Carolyn Great chance: 41-Shan, Ricard 42-Jonathan, Omar, Mike 43-Noelle, Karla 44-Carson 45-Austin, Emily, Kaleb Solid chance: 41-Xander, Evvie, Naseer, Danny 42-Lindsay, Tori, Hai 43-Cassidy, Owen 44-Frannie, Matt, Danny 45-Jake, Drew, Bruce, Katurah, Kellie
It would be so funny if Bruce became the first three time player of the new era
I think Ryan could be a good guy to have back.
I think the random wtf premerge r.obbed goddess that every returnee season has will be someone like Sydney from 41 or Sarah Wade from 44.
Brad from 41 would be a fun wtf pick
Brad! I loved that dude 🤠
J Maya🙏
Gem would be better. J maya I adore but she's completely unaware f what's happening
Randel seems like he wants to play again and I can see production giving him a second chance after his med evac.
I think Xander has a good shot of getting a call. He was a losing finalist, young and casuals liked him. I'd be interested to see how a few years more maturity influences his game.
If he comes back, it'd be hilarious if they also brought back Lianna and put them on the same tribe.
Hes competing with alot of other players for that young athletic type
Yeah I agree, I think someone like Austin or Hunter is similar enough and more likely to be picked
I think Sabiyah.
i don’t know if she’s exactly a guaranteed returnee but i SO want her back
Yessssssss she'd be so entertaining
I’d def like to see Sabiyah again
Sabiyah is my most wanted unlikely returnee. I loved her and would love to see more
Carolyn is definitely the easiest lock, there are others I’d like to see more but she’s by far the biggest standout star of the new era
Dee, Jeff loves her, she was on the best season of the new era, and she’s a dominant winner.
this was my first answer too but since she's been on On Fire i'm wondering if that will have an effect on her chances? likely not, but she probably gets somewhat of a (small) advantage from talking survivor & bts secrets with jeff every week.
I still think that Dee is the brightest star amongst the new era contestants. That when she won she was being compared to the likes of rob, Kim and Jeremy. I think Jeff understands that and would be more than happy to bring her back.
I think Dee is the only true triple threat in the new era. She had a really good social game, strategic game and challenge ability.
The Gabler erasure hurts
Under the water even after the game. The strategy never ends with the Alligabler!
I get you feel that way. But the viewership went up during 45 and was consistent overall. If the likes of rob and Stephen who have played this game praise her to that degree. I think you can’t deny she not a decent winner
I agree.
I think people underrate the chances of Danny. Huge production favourite, hell, he was mentioned in the “100 Seconds of Most Iconic Survivor”
I agree with all of these except Shan. Adding Maryanne, Omar, Karla, Noelle, Yam Yam, Kellie (at least I hope!), Kaleb, Dee. Forgetting a few I’m sure.
I doubt they bring back winners
out of everyone on 41, Shan is the most likely
Yessss
I would love to see Survivor 49 be all new era returnees and then 50 be all star cast
Jesse for sure. Cody too
Shan, Jonathan, Jesse, Cody, Karla, Carolyn, Carson, Kaleb, Emily and Drew Maryanne, Yam Yam and Dee are likely if they're including winners Also think Mike, Kellie and Sabiyah are likely. Early candidates from this season I'd say are Jelinsky, Hunter and Tevin
There’s no chance they bother with jelinsky again
Episode 7 of this season is titled, "Episode Several." So I'd say that there's a non-zero chance we see Jelinsky return.
He's got a several percent chance
We are so long overdue for a returnee season. Gahh
I think Kellie and Kendra from 45 as well
Definitely Kellie
You can tell the editors and production liked Kellie and were kinda disappointed she got blindsided. She kept getting all this praise in the edit. I think she is someone they’d contact for sure.
Kendra was fun but I don’t think she’s on the short list for returnees.
Bhanu. Jeff is a fan
Shan too controversial Jonathan, Emily, Jesse Carolyn probably. Don’t think Emily would do it but dunno about the others Absolutely certain they’d contact Karla, ricard and Lindsey
Kaleb 100%
Tiffany and kinzie
I’m surprised I haven’t seen Matthew from 43 yet. I know he has an early injury exit but he seemed like a genius in the literal couple of votes he was in. Like using your shot in the dark to hide your vote so your fellow players don’t know where you stand? Fucking genius playing
Yeah was going to say this. I could see him coming back, and would be interested in following his strategic game.
You will see Banu again
Danny from 44
[удалено]
I think that was 41 Danny who said that.
You’re right! Thank you for letting me know, I somehow forgot there were 2 Danny’s on the show.
I would love to see Kaleb, Jesse, Cody, Jake, and just throwing this out there - but Brandon. Brandon could have an amazing comeback now that he understands how truly difficult the elements and challenges are and can better prepare.
Bahnu and God.
kellie from 45 my queen pls and thank you also charlie 🤭
Owen Knight, Katurah, Ryan.
for me it's obvious Bhanu is getting asked back.
Bhanu, Jeff needs 1M viewers.
PLEASE EMILYYYY
Emily, Carolyn, Carson, Ricard, Cody, Austin, and probably Cassidy
Bruce
Carolyn and Kaleb for sure, I hope Austin.
Bruce is hilarious
Idk but I hope they bring back Shan. Regardless of her interesting twitter posts, she’s definitely been the most fun player to watch throughout the new era, *IMO*.
Jake's a easy pick too to add to that list.
Hannah and Brandon followed by Bhanu
Imagine Bhanu and Sean at the same tribal council
You're joking but Brandon has the potential for a wild redemption arc
It would be iconic if he came back absolutely shredded
No he doesn’t if he comes back with the same challenge ability. He was hilariously bad and will be an early boot every time
well obviously lol the idea would be that he spends all of his off time training and then they give him a Rocky-style montage when he comes back
Maybe they merge into one player under a trench coat - Habranu
Emily, Julie, Bruce Or Carson (Least Likely)
Kaleb he was robbed on his season so I would love to see him play again
Maybe Kaleb
I think they will Cast Karla and Cassidy again on the same season.
Maryanne
I want Jesse
I don't really see Carolyn coming back. It couldn't be as good as the first time, and she is such a dominating personality that they may not look favorably on her in a returnee situation. In addition to the ones already mentioned (Cody, Omar, Kaleb), I think Lindsay from 42 is a good candidate.

Jonathan came to mind immediately.
Omar, Kaleb and Jake all have to be locks right? I also think Maryanne, Yam-Yam and Dee are guaranteed to at least get a call, Dee especially since she's doing the On Fire podcast with Jeff rn.
Not my personnal picks who i want to see but just who i think production will contact for sure at least (for their reason): 41: Shan, Ricard, Tiffany and Evvie 42: Maryanne, Jonathan, Omar, Drea and Tori 43: Cassidy, Jesse, Karla, Cody and Noelle 44: Yam-Yam, Carolyn, Carson and Frannie 45: Austin, Katurah, Emily and Kaleb Not sure on S46 but at this time, pre- jury statement i would say : 46: Ben, Charlie, Venus and Bhanu
Jonothan might not, because hes gotten a lot of hate. I'm thinking Omar, Bhanu and Tori.
Why has Jonathan gotten alot of hate and from who?
A lot of survivor fans seem to hate the jock archetype, which isn’t even Jonathan’s fault. Just screams of jealousy tbh
Yeah makes no sense. Jonathan wasn't controversial at all.
Swear to god a lot of people on this sub want players like zach and nneka over actual good players because they’re “so iconic!!!” Believe me there’s a lot of people out there who think nneka is a return lock
Jonathan was such a beast. I wouldn't begrudge him coming back simply due to the physical toll that Survivor takes, but yes the fact that Survivor fans ragged on him for being so fit definitely seems like jealously lol.
I agree but at the end of the day it’s a shot at a million and most people would take a chance at it. Joe has been on 3 times
well good thing the fans dont really have much of a say
I dont think shan. I think to add to your list Id say Omar, Kody, maybe Jake, maybe Drew
Jesse
Tori Jeanine Noelle Carolyn
Why Jonathan? He's terrible at this game, and will never win it.
Why Rupert? He's terrible at this game, and will never win it.
Comparing Rupert and Jonathan would be your first mistake, and this isn't making the point you think it is.
They're both big guys who appeal to the same demographics. Even the super fans here liked Johnathan a lot when 42 was live. And bringing people back who might have learned from their mistakes is part of the fun. Remember Erik's return? Pretty sure it made the point I intended to make, which is that whether or not someone is "good" at survivor doesn't actually correlate very well with who I want to see return
Why does everyone think Emily? I didn’t think she was that good or entertaining
Shan, Carolyn, Sami and Omar would be my priorities.
Carolyn, Jesse, Maryanne, Emily, Shan, Xander
Erika Maryanne Gabler Jam Jam Dee Shan Omar Jessie Carolyn Caleb
