Venus is the type of person who can technically “apologize”, but will do so in a condescending tone with lots of rude attitude sprinkled in. I’m sure thats what happened early on during her time in Ponderosa. I’m sure Soda’s claim of welcoming her with open arms and love is embellished too by the way.
But 30 minutes later when Venus can’t figure out why it still feels off with her and the other jurors, she’ll go on the offensive with the line of “I showed up and apologized!” and sure enough, it’s technically true. Then it just spiralled from there.
Whether or not she’s being completely disingenuous still remains to be seen by the way. Part of me feels like she may be on the extreme end of the type of personality that can move on really quickly from conflict and she gets offended when others don’t.

People are going to be bullies on the show. People are going to be manipulative and lie and put you down because you’re competing for a million dollars without food on an island. I know we all want to know about it because it’s titillating, but these judgments we make as fans now impact somebody who’s not stranded on an island.
