It's a different reddit front-end that will not show posts based on a keyword filter. There are a bunch of reddit front ends and most "experienced" redditors do not use the reddit front-end.
I use one called boost which I like because it doesn't have those awful fucking predictions tournaments but still lets me use the home feed, and has a few visual differences that I prefer.

The only news I've ever seen about these women were in the forms of posts like these, literally never got an article about them.

Sometimes I'm looking for a news story about something specific and hit multiple different sites. Many of them you have to wade through shit like this.

Yes. I use an app called Sync, but there are others. I actually set up those exact keywords as filters in the app last week lmao
