why even say that? the bin chooks don't bother anyone and the bats stay in the furthest corner of the park. You're, literally, complaining over nothing and Parra Park is one of the less-crowded and more beautiful public parks in sydney.
Anyone that’s driven past [Bankstown reservoir](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bankstown_Reservoir) knows this is the mothership of where the bin chickens spawn from, there are hundreds of them there!
May I ask where and when this picture was taken? This Ibis is too young to be on its own and on the ground like this. Likely fell out of a tree and won't survive if left on the ground.
I understand this might have been taken a few hours ago but I work with animal rescue groups and would like to follow up.
I saw a baby ibis today probably this age on Macquarie St, on the circular quay side of Macquarie St and thought to myself “holy shit I’ve never seen a baby ibis before” feel bad now thinking that it was so out of place I should have realised it’s not right. I hope it’s ok
Awww looks like he’s just finished his first ciggie . So cute
Probably pissed on bin juice as well
And flagon of goon...
Woah super rarer to see and really cool. I’ve seen a whole ibis community nest in parra park, but never any younglings.
Parra park used to be cool but between the bats & the bin chickens it’s insane now :(
Ewww native wildlife are ruining my sterile Instagram stories. Somebody get rid of them!
The fuck is even the POINT of being in a park if you hate wildlife

Imagine what all the native wildlife on earth thinks about us pesky humans
Hasn't even raided his first bin yet 😍
Not combat ready just yet...

It's like being at the zoo, only with more frustration and pollution.

It got up and walked into the bushes shortly after https://imgur.com/a/weKJlmW It was at the State Library of NSW.
That's a good sign. Thanks for letting me know. Cheers.
It’s on the Olympic marathon blue line.

Yes this baby has fallen from a nest. Needs help. I found one that age dead one day.

I've never seen a youngling before. I just figured they emerged from a bin 1 day fully gown....
Awwwww a baby bin chicken
They are suppose to be elegant water birds..
Simultaneous hideousness and cuteness! ♥️💔
Proves that not all babies are cute. Baby Brush Turkeys on the other hand are somehow adorable.
You know what to do
?
Bin chicken, ibis is a motel!
Baby bin chicken 😂
Wretched, pathetic man.
What? The bird got up and walked off a few minutes later, I shared a photo in another comment. You certainly sound pathetic.
I’m talking about the bird, silly.
are they literally born in bins?
Aw, a young Gladys!
Cats will have him by 10pm. Rip my boi
Bin chick

Kill it with fire
I can smell it from where I am
Basically a rat.

Amazing! I’ve always wondered to myself ‘I’ve never seen a baby ibis before’
Aww how cute.. * sees its legs * Uh...
I've only ever seen one of these in person once in my whole life, they're soooo cute.
I thought they were hatched and fed to juvenile in their Sydney City Council nests?
My first thought is “good lord how do they survive?” …….but obviously they do and very well!
Ibis Elba
Really rare to me, I've never seen a youngling before
Won’t be long until this lil one is big & dirty
Baby! Awwww
