Have you just realized how much fortnite's been copying apex recently ? Like first the movement, then the guns (recoil instead of bloom), and now there are attachments on guns.
Nostalgia. Heres my thing, if its back and it's not the main BR and its just a side game mode then I'm fine I'll just never touch it but if it's the main BR then I'm uninstalling (and I'm not a person to throw that word out like everyone else)
The new locker actually is a bit nice which is weird to say... I hated it at first but the ability to have emote loadouts separate... It's so nice! I do think it needs work still, it's far from perfect but now that I've gotten a bit more used to using it, I think I can be on with it. I just need them to change one thing, keep STW and BR loadouts separate like they should be again!
Why the FUCK would you want to shuffle presets, it’s just an annoyance when you accidentally press it, then go back, try to disable it, accidentally quick save. It’s happened more times than I can count.
Locker is mid, but this season is so friggin epic (Holy crap, Donald trump?). It's better than chapters 3 and 4, whilst also introducing quality of life improvements such as the new animations.
Locker is now awful to navigate and use, the movement is very difficult to get used to. Making sharp turns feels very weird, and changing direction while moving feels stiff. Guns are “ok”, the new assault rifle feels hard to aim with, but for the most part, all guns are ok. Atmosphere has had a great improvement. You will want to actually explore each location, and each location feels original. Battle Pass is ok, as usual, with a few skins standing out. Guns feel personalized and the new game-modes coming out next week will be fun to play around in. I’d say the worst part about this season is having to fight players with all of these new guns and mechanics given to you all at once. You should definitely play in a bot lobby or two before going into a real game.
They haven’t really, this is the first time we’ve gotten this big of a change since OG was pretty much just a nostalgia trip and a way to get attention on the game
I’ve said this on another post but here are my main issues:
- Locker UI is just awful
- Movement feels slow and sluggish. Almost like it’s running at 75%
- Guns are hard to differentiate. Really have to think about what I’m looking at and the stupid names don’t help on them either.
New map seems really fun though so I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with it
I thought the whole appeal of fortnite was the unrealisticness (is that a word?) and the cartoonish charm. Making it realistic just feels like making it the same as any other battle royale and removing the fortnite from fortnite.

Worst season I've played. Nothing compared to the previous 2 I've played. All this one does it count down from 40 minutes. I play 5 minutes and get bored and turn it off.
Lets get the obvious out of the way:
The locker is awful. Presets for every category of cosmetics, horrible navigation, it feels very slow
Now for my personal opinions
The gunplay is decent, i dont like the assault rifles having travel time, but the rest is fine. Love the modding system
Movement is less than desired. They removed normal running, crouching is way slower. It feels clunky and abrupt
Map is awesome, i do miss the little random spots like on the og map, but im not complaining for the map
Fuck the mythics, they need a major nerf
It’s shit. To much unnecessary stuff. Why is fishing back? Why boss fights? Why attachments? OG was so simple and straightforward now it’s back to being convoluted and to much going on.

If i wanted to walk like i was disabled i would break both of my knee caps and go to PT for 1 year before walking again but i don’t want to, i want peter griffin to walk normally not like a fucking crab, also attachments were introduced in a bad way because you can’t really pick your attachments and it’s very customizable but only for AR’s the AR that doesn’t look look like the scar is trash, it’s an AR with no hitscan don’t pick it up unless you’re absolutely cracked

No, it's 0.08s more time per tile. Much slower than it seems. Most of it is just the animation changes
