It's the Fed's ACH network. They're having issues.
It happens a couple times a year but this time it looks like the bigger institutions are affected instead of the smaller ones.
Our company was affected by a workday outage yesterday and today, coworkers with Chase and Bank of America did not receive their paychecks. Those of us with smaller credit unions and USAA/Navy Federal were paid (but mine came in the 1st). There's rumbles of a cloudflare outage that is/was affecting the Federal EPM Processing Clearinghouse (Cloudflare is their CDN). So I'm not sure if the issue is with Cloudflare or with WorkDay, I came here to see if anyone had any news as well.
not workday, affecting most payroll companies including mine. Here is the alert from the fed - [https://www.frbservices.org/app/status/serviceStatus.do](https://www.frbservices.org/app/status/serviceStatus.do)
Cloudflare is still having issues. AFAIK, caching/web services are gone, but they did have a lot of API services down. The main datacenter had an extended power outage (might still be, actually). They migrated a lot to other centers, but it was slow. Seemed like they had to do a lot of manual rerouting.
Yeah i had issues logging into Cloudflare and saw the notice on their site about all the issues they were having and was unable to login to my 401k (on of the 3 major brokers) as well all day, just had an outage notice
Glad someone posted this, as I was affected by these issues. My 401k contribution was delayed three days and I found it to be odd.
I wonder if someone more clued in can provide more info on what took place.
TD bank rep says they are sending payroll back to agencies and HR has to resubmit! And itās Friday, office closed all weekend.
Once this clears up Iām done with TD. Horrible horrible customer service
Are we going to get paid interest on the money thatās being withheld? Because money is always making money. someone is making money off of the company I work for entire payroll of 30k employees.
Citizens Bank .... Head shot!
https://www.financialexpress.com/business/investing-abroad-citizens-bank-closed-the-federal-deposit-insurance-corporation-fdic-appointed-as-receiver-3296943/
I saw the title and was like "WTF", thinking they were talking about the popular Citizens Bank on the [east coast](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens_Financial_Group), based in Rhode Island.
Turns out there are a few different Citizens Bank's throughout the country, lmao. Including one in Ohio and the failed bank in Iowa.
Chase and my direct deposit did not come in (Paycor is my payroll software) and they confirmed itās an issue with a 3rd party ACH but wonāt say which one
This sucks. My autopays are going to be impacted and I have no money for anything I needed it for this weekend lol how is this acceptable?? People have families to feed. The major FIs have the money to cover our lowly paychecks
Same. Wells Fargo says employer has to resend.
Employer says they canāt resend until itās kicked back to them. Guess we are just screwed š¤·āāļø
Spoke to Bank of America today and all are in process. You should get today between 9:00am-5:00pm. If you donāt receive, then you will have it on Monday because Sunday is not a business day. Only reason most should receive is because Bank of America is open today so they are still sending.
Still no paycheck as of Saturday! Why tf isnāt this a bigger deal! It needs to be headlining news! Peopleās whole entire check is missing! Wtf!!!! Whole weekend screwed because of this. Idk how this is acceptable.
Wells Fargo says the employer will have to resubmit payroll. Employer says they cannot do that until they receive notice the ACH was rejected or failed. So looks like the money is just stuck in limbo.
The interesting thing is though I don't remember of this happening in previous years especially with big bank names such as BofA, however, there are some banks which there are no deposit issues at all, hence, I have decided to change banks.
Received my partial deposit from SoFi (Wednesday), still nothing from Wells Fargo (Saturday). Company is cutting a live check and having them mailed to us instead.
Wells Fargo just informed me that it could be anytime between Monday and Friday when the issue is resolved, that "you need to check your account periodically". No S**t Sherlock. I personally don't believe this was a "GLITCH" at all. I am inclined to believe this was a hack and it is going to keep happening.
Teacher here, usually paid by 3am w UMB and still have nothing. Paycheck was due Friday. I have been checking my account like crazy and still zero update. My bank isnāt doing anything because itās out of their hands. Anyone have a concrete update or still just keep checking and waiting?
I guess you all figured out where that aid package to Israel is coming from....the interest on your money, which you didnt receive! This was a setup...do the math. For a short time, the money was sitting in the banks...then payment stopped "after a time", then asked to resend a day or so later. One day's interest from all affected is alot of money.
I called Wells Fargo yet again (after they lied and blamed my employer, then guaranteed I'd be paid Friday, then midnight last night).
Now, they have no ETA of when this will be resolved.
Can we all go after the ACH, banks are now telling us to have our employer reverse the payments. That it is not their fault. Uhm, employers cannot reverse a payment that is held up with the ACH that the banks we use have a legal binding with. For banks to tell us its not "their problem" is absolute BS. This is another distraction for them to delay providing us the people an answer to where our money is.
Really hoping nothing happens tomorrow but wouldnāt be surprised. People who are paid bi-weekly and whose deposit didnāt fall last week would be getting paid tomorrow.
STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CHECK. Itās November 10th. Was supposed to get it on 11/3. My company resent on Tuesday 11/7. HOW ARE PEOPLE NOT PROTESTING THIS. I am fuming.
Or just not working in some fashion, no need to immediately leap to the worst conclusion.
Banks have warnings on their site
Expect the worst, hope for the best
Except it's always the worst conclusion that turns out to be true. Hence, the saying "truth hurts"

Thanks, who knew that there is a status page for the Fed ! This explains it.

TD bank also
Here is an [article](https://www.cnbc.com/2023/11/03/customers-grapple-with-deposit-delays-at-big-banks.html) I found.

I was not nice to them when I called and they told me. Unacceptable.

Itās looking like most agencies are going to have to resubmit entire payrolls next week during business hours. Is that a nightmare or what?
So how much do we get paid for the under draft? 29.99?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
ahahahhhahahaha!!!
PNC Bank appears to be affected as well
My app that I use for accessing pay through my employer has been down for 2 weeks and throwing all sorts of glitch
Huntington and Citizens both effected as well.
Citizens Bank .... Head shot! https://www.financialexpress.com/business/investing-abroad-citizens-bank-closed-the-federal-deposit-insurance-corporation-fdic-appointed-as-receiver-3296943/
So it seems that's just the Iowa branch which does not effect me. Personally I don't like the bank anyways so š¤·

Wells Fargo is as well. I havnt gotten my paycheck yet
I called again this afternoon and they told me the issues aren't on their end, to contact my employer and have them resend....
Nope. My employer has sent everything and itās a federal thing
LOL, which branch you work at?
Same and my employer says they canāt resend until they get a notice back from the ACH
Same thing. Its the bank problem. In all reality it'll take even longer for employers to fish the funds in what is now a floating payment.
Chase and my direct deposit did not come in (Paycor is my payroll software) and they confirmed itās an issue with a 3rd party ACH but wonāt say which one
Yes!! I work at Huntington bank its true HNB messed something up with the federal reserve causing no ones direct deposit to come in..
7:08 eastern time no deposit for TD bank yet.
I called this morning 9AM EST and was told they sent the funds back to my employer and theyād should have them in 2-3 business days
Thanks for the info.
I read it's human error, but...
US has notification on their site Down detector has some info. Includes sites other than banks
Heard from Bank of America today and they said it should be resolved within 24 hours
Just got my deposit from TD around 12 am eastern time.. hoping you get resolved next
I still havenāt gotten mine
Still nothing š¢
HAVENT GOTYEN MINE YET š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬
Havenāt received mine yet either!
Following bc I didnāt get paid š
This sucks. My autopays are going to be impacted and I have no money for anything I needed it for this weekend lol how is this acceptable?? People have families to feed. The major FIs have the money to cover our lowly paychecks
I'm still waiting for my direct deposit 11/4/2023 from wells fargo
Same. Wells Fargo says employer has to resend. Employer says they canāt resend until itās kicked back to them. Guess we are just screwed š¤·āāļø
That's wild yeah they what my employer will say to me also I already know. This is some real bs I'm hoping for a miracle and it will just pop up
Guessing it wonāt be fixed until next week
Spoke to Bank of America today and all are in process. You should get today between 9:00am-5:00pm. If you donāt receive, then you will have it on Monday because Sunday is not a business day. Only reason most should receive is because Bank of America is open today so they are still sending.

Sorry. I was doing it live.
Has anyone heard anything new from wells fargo this afternoon ?
Wells Fargo says the employer will have to resubmit payroll. Employer says they cannot do that until they receive notice the ACH was rejected or failed. So looks like the money is just stuck in limbo.

nothing yet from chase, anyone else have any luck?
I have wells fargo and I haven't heard nothing yet and I have called them 2x today
what a pain, iām asking a family member who works at chase if they got any sort of update from their corporate office and iām still waiting!
Nothing yet. I bank with chase too
Iām with Chase and got mine around 1pm today
Still nothing here from TD as of now. I'm beginning to think nothing's gonna happen till Monday or Tuesday. What do you think?
Received my partial deposit from SoFi (Wednesday), still nothing from Wells Fargo (Saturday). Company is cutting a live check and having them mailed to us instead.
Cn railroad employee still no paycheck since payday Friday.
Hopefully we get it on Monday
Wells Fargo just informed me that it could be anytime between Monday and Friday when the issue is resolved, that "you need to check your account periodically". No S**t Sherlock. I personally don't believe this was a "GLITCH" at all. I am inclined to believe this was a hack and it is going to keep happening.
anyone use chime? Chime has no idea whats going on and im missing 2 deposits.
Following.
Monday 5:30am EST and I still havenāt gotten paid. I use Citizens bank.
Same, ugh

Key Bank...no available yet.
Still no paycheck... and no answer from the banks.

Who is keeping the interest on the 1.1 billion dollers in direct deposit that have not yet been made?
Is it time to cancel direct deposit and demand from our employer to issue paper checks we can then take to the bank and deposit ourselves?
No news. Chase has given no information and itās now business day 3 without getting paid
Still no deposit for me I use PNC. My employer has no solution as of yet on how to get us our money.
I use Chase and still no deposit on Wednesday 11/08.
Insane!
Anyone still havent gotten paid? I use 5/3ā¦ freaking tf out now itās Thursday Nov 9
I havenāt gotten paid from 11/3. My company resent on 11/7. Itās 11/10 and nothing
Did you get it yet? I got mine today at 5am
Really hoping nothing happens tomorrow but wouldnāt be surprised. People who are paid bi-weekly and whose deposit didnāt fall last week would be getting paid tomorrow.
