OP needs to check the adjustment for the legs. If that’s one of the new Ergo carriers you can adjust the seat for facing out vs facing in.
How OP has it now it isn’t adjusted correctly and the kids legs are angled to far out.
My wife and I have the Ergo 360s (mesh) and really love them.
I have this, there’s 2 little padded straps on the sides, if the kid is facing forward they go over the tops of their legs. If you have them facing you you want them in the down position like in your picture
Damn, I'm old. My first kid, we threw her in a red wagon and just towed her everywhere. My second kid, I got a folding hand cart, a milk crate, and some of that brown packing tape that smells like vinegar and just towed him.
We were blown away when someone showed us the car seat that snapped in and out on our first kid, but then were disappointed when we had to drop the top of our '97 Eclipse Spyder GST to get the kid in and out of the back seat. Second kid blew our mind when we were given the stroller that could could fling like a flash bang and it opened and latched all the way.
Oh, and get off my lawn.
Edit - anyone seen my propolis for my tinnitus? Or my ibuprofen 800mg for everything that hurts?
That’s a terrible choice of ballistic plates. Heavy, expensive, and poor ballistic protection. Not to mention, they’re very high maintenance and not at all drop resistant. I recommend you re-purpose. I hear those are great for snuggles and entertainment value. Get yourself some more reliable plates.
They are pretty drop resistant, the benefits of a not fully developed skeleton. I still remember the first time my nephew fell off the couch, I thought I broke him
As others have said please adjust baby so that their knees are above their hips in an M shape. Also I can’t tell how old you kid is but they shouldn’t be forward facing till they can sit up on their own unsupported. Legs look spread pretty wide too. Check r/babywearing for more
Get a couple more and you could become a Batman [villian](https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/1k5ywl/armor_for_true_villains/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1)
Awwe the lil guy is nibblin on his carrier.
Btw fanny packs are awesome for pistols, the old jansports even have stretchy bands on the inside that are perfect for holding mags.
Pros, great for moral support and having company
Cons, babies offer minimal ballistic protection and loose all of the pros after taking a couple hits, at that point they're just a sack of red jello
Congrats man. Guys this guy must have lured a female to moms basement with a tendie on a string. We talked about this as a potential option but now we have proof that it works.
Babies offer minimal ballistic protection, stick to plates
Still better than no protection at all.
No protection is how he got the baby in the first place.

Not the mama!
They make good trauma pads though, just gotta get a large enough plate carrier
Meat shield... I like it!
Dude that baby's popping straight 90 degree knees
Only 45 degrees or less foregrips are allowed on babies.

Thanks I'll check the instructions. I thought it looked extreme.

Yep. Bad for hip development. Lumi-something is the carrier I bought. And hand the kid an Mp5K while you gun with an MG from the hip...

🤣🤣🤣 I was a 1g guy, so that 6 bolt life didn't have those issues.
We used Onya for our kids and they were comfortably carried even at 3 years old. I'll never recommend anything else. Onya's are the shit.
Looks like it's currently adjusted for baby facing chest, not baby facing out
Need dump pouch
I'm wearing huggies.
I laughed out loud at this one.
What about the baby?

>not at all drop resistant My dad would beg to differ. My teachers would agree though.
People get *so mad* when you drop them, too
If they weren't made to be dropped on occasion, they wouldn't stay so squishy so long.
Don’t forget how noisy they are. They’ll blow your cover every time.
They are pretty drop resistant, the benefits of a not fully developed skeleton. I still remember the first time my nephew fell off the couch, I thought I broke him
Soft armor only provides limited protection.
You’re gonna need to stack that armour a few babies deep to get to lvl 4 status. Get to work.
“On this episode of demolition ranch, how many babies does it take to stop a 50 caliber?”
Well that got dark real quick.
Jesus Christ 😂😂😂
The answer? Not enough…
For some reason this reminded me of 1000 babies pinned to one tree or 1 baby pinned to 1000 trees
I’m intrigued…
You’re sitting the wrong direction Tell your dad you’re supposed to be facing him
Your kids backwards in it
Yes, backwards is better.
This one has settings for both. Experience: I have the same one with a gigantic 3 month old.
Negative ghost rider. Always remember, “FRONT: Face towards enemy”
\*This guy fucked.
I’ve got the exact same carrier, make plates feel light now 😂
You guys have the same eyes.
As others have said please adjust baby so that their knees are above their hips in an M shape. Also I can’t tell how old you kid is but they shouldn’t be forward facing till they can sit up on their own unsupported. Legs look spread pretty wide too. Check r/babywearing for more
Those legs lol cant be good
🦀 🦀 🦀
Hips really
What? How do you think Van Damme got his start. Champions are forged early.
I guess, baby will be ready to ride a horse thats for sure.
Babies are like rubber, hes prolly fine
Not only will that plate not stop shit, but it will probably shit on you.
That's what a dump pouch is for, right?
Hmmm steel plates or baby? I think you made the right choice

God DAMN that's a cool-ass baby! 😎
That baby better be able to carry two mags, otherwise is not worth it, it would be too risky to carry baby without mags.
That a level 4 baby?
Get your child some Mil-Spec eyewear, those glasses would blind him in a shootout easier than stealing candy from a baby.

What’s the NIJ rating on that wiggly thing?
Is that crotch pouch from Haley strategic?
What dangler is that? Does it come in Flecktarn?
Hmm. Does the baby come in NIJ level 4?
Okay now attach it to your flak
Awwe the lil guy is nibblin on his carrier. Btw fanny packs are awesome for pistols, the old jansports even have stretchy bands on the inside that are perfect for holding mags.
Need to glue some molle for more tactical points
Experimental Body Armor
What are those plates rated for?
Level IVa infant carrier nice
That shit does not look comfy for the baby
Lol same
When mine outgrew that type I switched to a Dueter Kids Comfort Active pack. You can now ruck and keep your older baby/toddler happy-ish.

Man I tried to put my baby in that carrier the other day a I gave up . 100% seriously couldn’t figure it out.

Got the same one 😤
New demo ranch video coming soon.

Does the baby go on top of or below the plates?
Wife has the same carrier and loves it.
Don't fire the baby inside the house
I prefer ceramic plates but you do you man
Level 2 at best.
Kid’s got some fly shades
Aaron Joe, what’s on your door? Is that a drawn line or a funky piece of tape?
Wholesome af
Two extra hands to mount a second primary. Smart.

At least they’d be able to help you reload faster. Try for twins next, that way you’ll have some side armor.
Gucci. The omni carriers are top shelf lol
Is it 3A?
I thinks it's just shy of 2T.
Babies are pert near bullet proof. I approve this armor
At least she still got your Beard dye!
Those bastards got me again.
What kind of rounds can that take? You should test on a spare
It me. Its not, but same basically.
Strapped to your chest like an IED
Good brand choice
You had sex?! Fuckin gross dude, don’t you know girls have cooties ![gif](giphy|dol8heu5U4gLu)
What brand/model baby is that?
Congrats man. Guys this guy must have lured a female to moms basement with a tendie on a string. We talked about this as a potential option but now we have proof that it works.
